NFL Hot Press: Combine Interview Feedback Part II

Rolled Newspaper bearing title: "NFL HOT PRESS"

One of the most important parts of an NFL ccouting combine is the team interview sessions. WalterFootball.com spoke with multiple team sources, and here is some more of their feedback on some of the prospects.

Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner was expected to fly in the 40-yard dash, and he delivered on that on Thursday. While Turner worked out well, he also interviewed well with teams. Sources said Turner is a good kid with a strong work ethic. He is seen as a high-character individual with leadership potential. Between his skill set, tape, production and character, Turner looks like a lock as a top-10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson is very similar to Turner. Robinson also had a blistering 40-yard dash time and worked out extremely well. Also like the Alabama standout, Robinson showed teams that he is a great kid with good character. Robinson interviewed well in Indianapolis. That along with his workout could help Robinson to receive more consideration for teams late in the first round and early in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Kansas State offensive lineman Cooper Beebe interviewed really well with teams. Sources said he is smart and has good character. They shared they think Beebe will be a solid second-day pick who ends up being a potential 10-year starter in the NFL. Beebe played guard and tackle for the Wildcats, but is viewed as a guard for his pro career. With his combine interviews, Beebe helped himself to likely end up as a second-round pick next month in the 2024 NFL Draft.

There were maturity concerns with Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton going into the Senior Bowl and the interview portion of the pre-draft process. However, team sources said Guyton interviewed really well here in Indianapolis. They were very pleasantly surprised with how well Guyton interviewed because they were not expecting it to be positive. Thanks to Guyton interviewing well as alongside possessing a rare skill set of size, athleticism and quickness, Guyton has really solidified his chances of being a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
