2026 NFL Signings Graded by Team: Tennessee Titans

This page lists all the 2026 NFL Signings for the Tennessee Titans. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the Signings. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the Signings, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL Signings here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

March 2026 – Signings

Titans sign DE/OLB Jacob Martin (2 years, $11 million): A Grade
signed on 3/12/2026

The Titans have had a mixed free agency period thus far. They’ve overpaid for some players, but they’ve also made some quality signings. This counts as the latter.

Jacob Martin is not a household name by any means, but he’s an underrated edge rusher. He had 45 quarterback pressures last year, which was No. 1 on the Redskins by nine (Von Miller, 36). Being atop that chart on the Redskins is a low bar, but the fact remains that Martin placed a healthy amoutn of pressure on opposing signal-callers, making this signing a great bargain.

Titans sign S Tony Adams (1 year): A Grade
signed on 3/12/2026

It’s a shame that Tony Adams is constantly injured; otherwise, he would have received a much more lucrative contract than this. Instead, he had to sign a 1-year “prove it” contract with another bad team.

Perhaps Adams will be able to stay on the field every week this year. It doesn’t seem likely, but if Adams does, the Titans will be getting a cheap safety who can play well in coverage.

Titans sign DT Jordan Elliott (2 years, $8.5 million): B+ Grade
signed on 3/10/2026

The Titans had major problems with their defensive line last year outside of Jeffery Simmons. They’ve already added some talent in free agency, but they had to acquire more to turn a major weakness into a potential strength.

Jordan Elliott is not a starting-caliber player, but he’s someone who can generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks as a rotational lineman. He’s a nice bargain at this price.

Titans sign G Cordell Volson (1 year, $4.215 million): B- Grade
signed on 3/9/2026

The Titans are in need for offensive line depth. They have to obtain more than just Cordell Volson, but the former Bengal will provide experience behind the starters. Granted, it’s not very good experience – and Volston didn’t even play in 2025 – but it’s experience nonetheless. There’s also no risk attached to this signing.

Titans sign CB Alontae Taylor (3 years, $60 million): D+ Grade
signed on 3/9/2026

The Titans hit a home run with the John Franklin-Myers signing, but most of their other moves have been very questionable. This signing is included, as Tennessee overpaid for New Orleans’ former cornerback.

The good news is that Alontae Taylor is coming off his best year with the Saints. The bad news is that he was still just mediocre. This is far too much money for an average-at-best cornerback.

Titans sign CB Cordale Flott (3 years, $45 million): B Grade
signed on 3/9/2026

The Titans had such a poor secondary last season that they needed to find not one, not two, but three cornerbacks this spring. They still have lots of work to do at the position despite this signing, but it’s a decent start.

Cordale Flott is not a known commodity, but he was a fine starter for the Giants last year. This is a bit more than what I would have paid him, but I definitely don’t hate this move. Flott is only 25, so he might have a very bright future ahead of him.

Titans sign DL John Franklin-Myers (3 years, $63 million): A- Grade
signed on 3/9/2026

To understand John Franklin-Myers’ value, just ask any Jets fan how much they’ve missed him before he departed for Denver. The Jets’ defense began its collapse when Franklin-Myers left the team, and now Denver will experience something similar.

Franklin-Myers is an awesome defensive lineman. He’s logged 14.5 sacks over the past two years, and at 29, he should continue to perform on a high level for 2-3 great years. This is the type of player Tennessee’s poor defense sorely needed.

Titans sign WR Wan'Dale Robinson (4 years, $78 million): D Grade
signed on 3/9/2026

One of those India-based X accounts posting about the NFL told us that Wan’Dale Robinson would be earning $25 million per season. Robinson didn’t quite hit that mark, but this signing is still for way too much money.

To put it simply, the Titans entered the offseason needing a wide receiver. They spent $78 million on a receiver, and yet they still need a No. 1 receiver. Wan’Dale Robinson has been just a PPR scam artist for most of his career. He became more than that last year, but he’s still not a No. 1 wideout, and yet he’s being paid like one.
