2026 NFL Signings Graded by Team: Philadelphia Eagles

This page lists all the 2026 NFL Signings for the Philadelphia Eagles. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the Signings. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the Signings, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL Signings here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

March 2026 – Signings

Eagles sign DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (1 year): B- Grade
signed on 3/29/2026

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka was the final pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but he’s been a mega bust. He has just two total sacks in the past two years, so Philadelphia fans shouldn’t expect much from this signing. In fact, it might be a challenge for Tryon-Shoyinka to even make the 53-man roster. It’s not impossible for Tryon-Shoyinka to finally meet expectations, but that is extremely unlikely to happen.

Eagles sign WR Elijah Moore (1 year): B Grade
signed on 3/25/2026

It’s easy for forget that Elijah Moore is still in the NFL. Moore was seen as a promising prospect coming out of Ole Miss. He was chosen early in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and then went on to accumulate 100-plus targets in 2023 and 2024. Moore, however, barely played with the Bills last year despite Buffalo having an anemic group of receivers outside of Khalil Shakir.

Moore will get one more chance with the Eagles. I’m not expecting much out of this signing, but there’s no sort of downside, so why not try it? Moore will have a chance to finally prove himself in a Philadelphia receiver corps that has very little depth.

Eagles sign WR Marquise Brown (1 year): C+ Grade
signed on 3/17/2026

The Eagles plan on trading A.J. Brown, so it would make sense for them to pursue a receiver in free agency. The problem is that Marquise Brown would not be an adequate replacement for A.J. Brown. Marquise Brown had a chance to operate with a great quarterback last year, yet did nothing in a Kansas City receiver room mostly devoid of talent. He had just 587 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games, most of which were with Patrick Mahomes at the helm.

The only nice thing I can say about this signing is that it doesn’t carry much risk. However, there isn’t much upside either, as Marquise Brown appears to be completely washed up.

Eagles sign TE Dallas Goedert (1 year): A- Grade
signed on 3/16/2026

It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Dallas Goedert would be leaving Philadelphia this offseason. Somehow, the Eagles and Goedert came to an agreement to keep the talented tight end with the Eagles for at least one more season.

Goedert has been a very productive tight end over the years, though he’s had trouble staying healthy. He’s also 31 now, so age-related regression could be coming this year. However, this pact is just for one season, so there’s almost no risk, so it’s impossible to grade this signing poorly at all.

Eagles sign DE/OLB Arnold Ebiketie (1 year, $7.3 million): B+ Grade
signed on 3/12/2026

Arnold Ebiketie didn’t post amazing stats last year. He logged 25 quarterback pressures and 2.5 sacks, so that won’t wow anyone. However, consider that Ebiketie played about only 20 snaps per game. Considering the lack of usage, he was relatively productive.

The Eagles will have Ebiketie assume the same role in their deep rotation. They lost some depth on the edge this offseason, so it makes sense to bring in Ebiketie on a 1-year deal that won’t carry much risk.

Eagles sign CB Jonathan Jones (1 year): B Grade
signed on 3/12/2026

This signing would have been much better a few years ago. Jonathan Jones had many successful years in New England, but he wasn’t quite the same in his first year away from the Patriots this past season. Jones struggled in Washington, though that could be attributed to a poor pass rush. Then again, Jones will turn 33 in September, so it’s just as likely that he’s past his prime and won’t play well again. The good news for the Eagles is that they aren’t taking much of a chance with this signing.

Eagles sign TE Johnny Mundt (1 year): A Grade
signed on 3/10/2026

I always complain about blocking tight ends making too much money, so it would be hypocritical of me to not praise a team signing a quality blocking tight end for a cheap price. That’s what the Eagles are doing with this move. Mundt is not much of a receiving option, but he can block very well, and based on what transpired last year, Philadelphia needs all the help it can get i in that department.

Eagles sign CB Tariq Woolen (1 year, $15 million): A Grade
signed on 3/10/2026

Lots of these 1-year “prove it” deals have made sense so far, but this one does not. I’m shocked that Tariq Woolen couldn’t get a longer contract. Granted, he didn’t have his best year in 2025, but he was still an effective No. 2 cornerback for Seattle.

Either way, the Eagles made out extremely well with this signing. Woolen is a talented cornerback who will serve as a needed upgrade across from Quinyon Mitchell. He comes with diminished risk as well because he was signed for just one year.

Eagles extend NT Jordan Davis (3 years, $78 million): B Grade
signed on 3/7/2026

It’s hardly a surprise that Jordan Davis received a contract like this. Davis has been a dominant nose tackle since entering the NFL out of Georgia. He’s a monstrous run stuffer who can generate ample pressure on opposing quarterbacks. It would be wrong to say that he’s not worth this sort of a contract.

So, why just the “B” grade? Well, I’m always wary of very heavy defensive tackles getting massive contract. It doesn’t always happen, but they tend to get fat and lazy, and once an already-heavy human being gains even more weight, it’s very difficult for them to get back in shape. Still, what were the Eagles going to do, allow Davis to walk soon? I can’t grade this signing poorly.
