2011 Fantasy Football Draft: The Four-Man PPR Fantasy Draft

June 19, 2011.

This is a four-man (actually three-man, one-woman) 2011 Fantasy Football PPR Mock Draft I participated in on Tuesday. The plan was for forum members Injured Reserve, Body Burners and I, as well as Man-Eaters (Injured Reserve’s fiancee) to control three teams each in a 12-team draft.

We did this last year. I made some great picks (Tampa’s Mike Williams in the 14th round; Ben Roethlisberger in the 13th round; Dez Bryant in the 12th round), but I also had some clunkers (Randy Moss No. 8 overall; Carolina’s Steve Smith in the third round; C.J. Spiller in the fifth round). I find that I draft much better in August once I watch all of the preseason games (all of my extensive notes will once again be available).

As for the other three participants, they all made great selections in last year’s Round 16. Man-Eaters took Terrell Owens; Injured Reserve acquired BenJarvus Green-Ellis; and Body Burners snagged Philadelphia’s current quarterback.

So, in a sense, we all know what we’re doing.

Here are the results with commentary below each round.

Also, be sure to check out my other 2011 Fantasy Football articles, which will include rankings, sleepers, busts, cheat sheets and other things. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

ROUND 1:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Arian Foster RB
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Adrian Peterson RB
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Chris Johnson RB
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Ray Rice RB
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – LeSean McCoy RB
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Darren McFadden RB
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – Maurice Jones-Drew RB
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Andre Johnson WR
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Rashard Mendenhall RB
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Roddy White WR
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Steven Jackson RB
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Hakeem Nicks WR

Before the actual fantasy football analysis, let me note that Body Burners intentionally tried to make himself a Jerk of the Week for the second year in a row. Last year, his tactics included making fun of my aversion to sesame seeds and threatening to dump an entire 2-liter of Pepsi on my head. This year, Body Burners stepped it up a notch, taking the antepenultimate slice of pepperoni pizza off the tray and constantly making cruel jokes about players killing themselves. He’s getting pretty close to Jerk of the Week territory; he probably would have clinched if it he took the other two slices of pizza.

MY PICKS: I actually have Ray Rice ranked ahead of Adrian Peterson in PPR leagues. Peterson doesn’t catch many passes, while Rice hauled in 63 receptions in 2010.

Meanwhile, this year’s No. 8 overall selection will be better than last summer’s – unless Andre Johnson gets hurt.

BEST PICK: I liked Body Burners’ Nos. 1 and 11 picks. It’s usually hard to praise the first pick, but Arian Foster is the only choice, given that Peterson and Chris Johnson are handicapped with raw rookie quarterbacks. As for Steven Jackson, he’ll score lots of touchdowns in what should be a very productive Rams offense.

WORST PICK: I’ll give myself the worst pick. I’m a huge fan of Hakeem Nicks, but he was the wrong choice in the first round.

I love doing these early fantasy football mock drafts because I always learn something. This year, I realized how thin the running back pool is. As you’ll soon see, it gets REALLY bad.

ROUND 2:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Frank Gore RB
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Calvin Johnson WR
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Jamaal Charles RB
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – LeGarrette Blount RB
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Matt Forte RB
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Aaron Rodgers QB
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Reggie Wayne WR
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Larry Fitzgerald WR
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Greg Jennings WR
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Mike Wallace WR
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Mike Williams WR
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Ryan Mathews RB

BODY BURNERS UPDATE: During this round, Body Burners said, “I want to attack Walt. I want to be a Jerk of the Week!”

You’ve gotta love the stick-to-it-ivness.

MY PICKS: Frank Gore gets hurt a lot, but he was the best available at 2.01. Greg Jennings was the right value at 2.09.

My favorite personal selection of this round was Matt Forte at 2.05. Even if he regresses a bit, he’s still going to catch a ton of passes in Mike Martz’s offense.

BEST PICK: Many of you think I hate Jamaal Charles. I don’t. Charles is awesome. I just think he’s going way too early in regular fantasy leagues because he’s A) not going to carry the ball 250 times and B) not going to score many touchdowns. But he’s great value at 2.03 in a PPR format.

WORST PICK: Once again, I’m going to downgrade a receiver selection. Two, in fact. Mike Wallace and Mike Williams don’t catch many passes, so taking them in the second round is a bit too early considering the alarming lack of depth at running back. As I did, Injured Reserve and Man-Eaters would soon find out how bad it really is.

ROUND 3:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Miles Austin-Jones WR
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Jahvid Best RB
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Peyton Manning QB
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Ahmad Bradshaw RB
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Vincent Jackson WR
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Michael Turner RB
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – Jonathan Stewart RB
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Wes Welker WR
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Marques Colston WR
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Peyton Hillis RB
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Tom Brady QB
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Steve Johnson WR

MY PICKS: Good job by me taking Ahmad Bradshaw at 3.04. Bad job by me picking Steve Johnson at 3.12 and leaving my eighth-pick team incredibly thin at running back, as you’ll soon see (though I love Wes Welker in PPR leagues).

BEST PICK: As Emmitt would say, “I’m beatin’ a dead drum here,” but anyone who took a running back in this round needs to be praised – especially Man-Eaters (Jahvid Best), Body Burners (Jonathan Stewart) and Injured Reserve (Peyton Hillis, a stud in PPR leagues).

WORST PICK: Sorry again, Man-Eaters. I think Marques Colston is a huge risk after undergoing his fifth knee procedure in five years this offseason. Colston could be very good in 2011, but he could easily miss half the year.

ROUND 4:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – DeAngelo Williams RB
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Dez Bryant WR
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Drew Brees QB
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Antonio Gates TE
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Austin Collie WR
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Shonn Greene RB
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Philip Rivers QB
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Brandon Marshall WR
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Brandon Lloyd WR
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Jeremy Maclin WR
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Dwayne Bowe WR
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Tony Romo QB

NO RUNNING BACKS: This is where we started to realize that there were no running backs available. Save for DeAngelo Williams and Shonn Greene, it was all crap. Just wait and see what happened in Round 5.

MY PICKS: My eighth-pick team has a great receiving corps (Andre Johnson, Wes Welker, Austin Collie), but I’m not going to have anything at running back.

The DeAngelo Williams pick was my best selection this round. It’ll be interesting to see where he’s playing next year.

BEST PICK: Injured Reserve made the best two picks this round. Brandon Marshall is a steal in the fourth round of a PPR league. Of course, his personal issues could impact his 2011 season, but if he can get past that, he’ll have a great year. I would have picked Marshall ahead of Collie, but I forgot to move him up my list in the wake of the Kyle Orton-to-Miami news.

Also, how in the world was Drew Brees chosen in the same round as Philip Rivers and Tony Romo?

WORST PICK: There’s nothing I hate here. I guess I’ll penalize myself for picking Collie over Marshall. I’ll be more prepared for my actual fantasy football drafts this summer.

ROUND 5:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – DeSean Jackson WR
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Jermichael Finley TE
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Felix Jones RB
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Santonio Holmes WR
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – QB Eagles No. 7
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Dallas Clark TE
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – Mario Manningham WR
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Ben Roethlisberger QB
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Matt Schaub QB
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Jason Witten TE
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Pierre Garcon WR
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Josh Freeman QB

QB DOG KILLER: Yes, Philadelphia’s quarterback lasted until the fifth round. Why? Consider the following exchange:

Man-Eaters: How did he fall into the fifth round?

Body Burners: Because he kills dogs and no one likes him.

MY PICKS: My poor eighth-pick team is toast. No running backs to speak of. Meanwhile, I would have waited on a quarterback and drafted a running back at 5.12, but as Injured Reserve yelled during this round, “THERE’S NO ONE LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

BEST PICK: There were 11 best picks in this round because…

WORST PICK: The Felix Jones selection was that bad. Injured Reserve had no choice considering the lack of depth at running back, but Jones could easily lose his job by Week 5. This is how bad this year’s running back class is. Please take note of this.

ROUND 6:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Deion Branch WR
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Mark Ingram RB
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Percy Harvin WR
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Mike Thomas WR
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Marshawn Lynch RB
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Jacoby Jones WR
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Knowshon Moreno RB
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Joseph Addai RB
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Matt Ryan QB
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Ryan Grant RB
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Eli Manning QB
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – James Starks RB

NO DEPTH: Stop me if I sound like a broken record, but there’s no depth anywhere. When Man-Eaters picked Mike Thomas, Injured Reserve asked, “You’re going into your sleeper list already?”

As for the running backs…

Me: There are no running backs left!

Body Burners: No, there is a running back, and his name is Cedric Benson.

MY PICKS: Deion Branch can produce if healthy. Haha, I made a joke.

When I made the Marshawn Lynch pick, I actually said, “Ugh… Marshawn Lynch.” Where the hell did all of the running backs go?

BEST PICK: I don’t like rookies this year, but considering how bad this running back class is, Mark Ingram is a solid selection at 6.02.

WORST PICK: Marshawn Lynch is the RB2 on my eighth-pick team. FML.

ROUND 7:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Owen Daniels TE
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Cedric Benson RB
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Daniel Thomas RB
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Danny Woodhead RB
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Fred Jackson RB
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Chris Wells RB
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – Vernon Davis TE
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Jordy Nelson WR
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Johnny Knox WR
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Sidney Rice WR
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – LaDainian Tomlinson RB
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Danny Amendola WR

RUNNING BACKS: Just look at the running backs in this round. Cedric Benson. Bleh. Daniel Thomas. Bleh. Danny Woodhead. Bleh. Chris Wells. Bleh. LaDainian Tomlinson. Bleh. It’s so bad that I actually slammed my fist on the table and yelled “Damn it!” when Injured Reserve picked Fred Jackson. Hey, we take these fantasy drafts seriously.

CEDRIC BENSON: We were joking about Cedric Benson getting 300 carries this year and doing nothing with them, when Body Burners declared that he could get 300 rushing yards with 300 carries in the NFL.

Man-Eaters: There’s no way you’d get 300 rushing yards.

Body Burners: All I’d have to do is fall forward every play.

Me: Yeah, I think he could do it if he didn’t get hurt.

Man-Eaters: But that’s not realistic because he definitely would get hurt!

Me: This whole thing is unrealistic!

MY PICKS: Love Danny Amendola (in PPR formats) and Jordy Nelson this year. Danny Woodhead is meh, but he’ll get receptions. I had no choice, really, because I needed a running back.

BEST PICK: Sidney Rice could be awesome this year depending on where he lands in free agency. He could also suck if he signs with Washington or stays with Minnesota, but he’s great value at 7.10.

WORST PICK: If things remain the same in Chicago, Johnny Knox is a decent pick at 7.09. However, there’s talk that the Bears may sign someone like Braylon Edwards, who would obviously cut into Knox’s targets.

ROUND 8:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Tim Tebow QB
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Michael Crabtree WR
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Mikel Leshoure RB
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Sam Bradford QB
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Kenny Britt WR
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Jay Cutler QB
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Jimmy Graham TE
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Matthew Stafford QB
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Zach Miller TE
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Joe Flacco QB
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Mike Williams WR Seahawks

MY PICKS: Three backup quarterbacks in Round 8! You know, I would have liked to spend those selections on running back and receiver sleepers, but someone kidnapped all of the talented players.

BEST PICK: Injured Reserve’s reasoning behind Mikel Leshoure, “Jahvid Best will get injured in Week 3, so I’ll have Detroit’s starting running back.” Makes sense to me.

WORST PICK: Body Burners made a pair of dubious selections in this round. Michael Crabtree is a giant douche who hates playing with Alex Smith, while Kenny Britt could be suspended after being arrested a billion times this offseason.

ROUND 9:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Julio Jones WR
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Hines Ward WR
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Mark Clayton WR
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Danario Alexander WR
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Rob Gronkowski TE
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Anquan Boldin WR
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – C.J. Spiller RB
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Pierre Thomas RB
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Roy Helu RB
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Steve Smith WR Panthers
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Montario Hardesty RB
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – DeMarco Murray RB

MY PICKS: One of the two Ram receivers selected in this round will post huge fantasy numbers. Danario Alexander has the talent, but Mark Clayton has the experience. Guess we’ll find out what’ll happen during the preseason – if there is a preseason.

DeMarco Murray – I don’t know. I was running out of options, and I actually wanted Montario Hardesty. Felix Jones will get hurt though, and Jason Garrett hates Tashard Choice with a passion.

BEST PICK: I already praised the Mark Clayton and Montario Hardesty selections. Great value in Round 9.

WORST PICK: Two worst picks – first, I found out that the Saints plan on trading Pierre Thomas two days after we conducted this mock draft. And second, did Steve Smith’s walker come with Injured Reserve’s selection, or will Injured Reserve have to spend another pick on that?

ROUND 10:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Brandon Pettigrew TE
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Marcedes Lewis TE
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Ryan Williams RB
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Ryan Torain RB
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Mike Tolbert RB
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Jerome Simpson WR
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Jason Snelling RB
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Michael Bush RB
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Davone Bess WR
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Kellen Winslow Jr. TE
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Reggie Bush RB
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Louis Murphy WR

MY PICKS: As I wrote in my 2011 Fantasy Football Rankings, I love owning Davone Bess in PPR leagues. He was so clutch for me as my flex in Injured Reserve’s league last year, as he helped me advance to the championship.

Mike Tolbert offers good value in Round 10. If Ryan Mathews is in fact injury-prone, Tolbert will get a lot of work again.

BEST PICK: I find it funny that Man-Eaters was able to obtain Washington’s starting running back one round after Washington’s backup running back went off the board. I’m telling you, it’s a weird year.

WORST PICK: Picking Louis Murphy over Jacoby Ford? Shame on you, Body Burners.

ROUND 11:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Robert Meachem WR
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Kevin Kolb QB
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Jacoby Ford WR
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Brandon Jacobs RB
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Santana Moss WR
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Mike Sims-Walker WR
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – A.J. Green WR
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Emmanuel Sanders WR
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Thomas Jones RB
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Dexter McCluster RB/WR
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Ryan Fitzpatrick QB
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Malcom Floyd WR

BODY BURNERS: Body Burners ran out of players he liked on his cheat sheet, so he borrowed Injured Reserve’s fantasy mag. Perusing the receiver rankings, Body Burner suddenly asked, “Who is this Arcrillious Bean?”

MY PICKS: Malcom Floyd is a free agent, so we’ll see what happens with that. Brandon Jacobs is a boring pick, but one I had to make for depth purposes.

BEST PICK: Two second-year receivers who could post huge numbers in 2011: Emmanuel Sanders and Jacoby Ford.

WORST PICK: Injured Reserve’s reasoning behind the Dexter McCluster pick – If Jamaal Charles gets injured, McCluster could be used at running back. That makes sense. In fact, it makes too much sense. I seriously doubt Todd Haley is capable of coming up with such a logical thought.

ROUND 12:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Steelers Defense
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Donald Brown RB
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Chris Cooley TE
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Packers Defense
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Heath Miller TE
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Jason Campbell QB
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Ravens Defense
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Giants Defense
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – James Jones WR
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Jets Defense
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Chargers Defense
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Mark Sanchez QB

MY PICKS: I hate taking defenses early. When I picked Pittsburgh’s defense, all three of my fellow drafters looked at me in shock. I replied, “What the hell am I supposed to do? There’s no one left!”

Indeed. Heath Miller and James Jones aren’t going to help anyone win a fantasy championship.

BEST PICK: Man-Eaters really screwed me by taking San Diego’s defense. The Chargers play Christian Ponder and the crappy Vikings in Week 1, so I wanted to pick them in Round 16.

WORST PICK: Donald Brown will be drafted in every fantasy league this summer. He’ll be cut from every fantasy league by Halloween.

ROUND 13:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Bears Defense
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Donald Driver WR
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Braylon Edwards WR
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Dustin Keller TE
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Kyle Orton QB
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Terrell Owens WR
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – Eagles Defense
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Kendall Hunter RB
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Matt Cassel QB
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Buccaneers Defense
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Saints Defense
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Le’Ron McClain RB

MY PICKS: I waited too long on tight ends, and it really didn’t help that Man-Eaters and Injured Reserve drafted backup tight ends. Thus, I had to settle for Dustin Keller.

Kendall Hunter and Le’Ron McClain were selected for depth purposes, obviously.

BEST PICK: Braylon Edwards and Terrell Owens aren’t on a roster right now, but they will be. They’re both great value in Round 13.

WORST PICK: The Buccaneers don’t have a pass rush, so I’m not sure why Injured Reserve selected them at 13.10.

ROUND 14:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Ben Watson TE
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Brent Celek TE
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Torrey Smith WR
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Jermaine Gresham TE
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Lance Moore WR
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Jared Cook TE
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Aaron Hernandez TE
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Titus Young WR
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Tony Gonzalez TE
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Roscoe Parrish WR
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Bernard Scott RB
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Kyle Rudolph TE

MY PICKS: Come here, Mr. Watson. I need you. Sorry, Berman-ism.

Speaking of tight ends, isn’t it crazy that Tony Gonzalez lasted until Round 14? Gonzalez is all but done, but he’s decent value down here.

BEST PICK: Of the seven tight ends selected in this round, Aaron Hernandez has the most upside this season.

WORST PICK: Roscoe Parrish? Why?

ROUND 15:

(1) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – Nate Kaeding K
(2) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Randy Moss WR
(3) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Rashad Jennings RB
(4) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Sebastian Janikowski K
(5) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Ronnie Brown RB
(6) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Chad Ochocinco WR
(7) Body Burners 7th Pick – Mason Crosby K
(8) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – Josh Brown K
(9) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Plaxico Burress WR
(10) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Tiki Barber RB
(11) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Garrett Hartley K
(12) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Greg Little WR

MY PICKS: Greg Little is my Hail Mary pick. I’m down on all rookies this year because of the lockout, but Little is very talented and could be Colt McCoy’s No. 1 receiver.

BEST PICK: I don’t like handcuffs, but Rashad Jennings is a good one to own because Maurice Jones-Drew is coming off knee surgery.

WORST PICK: The Tiki Barber pick was a joke, so the real worst selection was Randy Moss – unless we’re suddenly rewarded points for receivers insulting the food at random restaurants. Moss is done, and all reports indicating that the Jets have interest in him are a joke.

ROUND 16:

(1) WalterFootball.com 12th Pick – Alex Henery K
(2) Body Burners 2011 11th Pick – Brian Westbrook RB
(3) Injured Reserve 10th Pick – Ryan Succop K
(4) Man-Eaters 9th Pick – Matt Bryant K
(5) WalterFootball 2011 8th Pick – 49ers Defense
(6) Body Burners 7th Pick – Arrelious Benn WR
(7) Man-Eaters 2011 6th Pick – Lawrence Tynes K
(8) Injured Reserve 2011 5th Pick – Ndamukong Suh K
(9) WalterFootball 2011 4th Pick – Jaguars Defense
(10) Injured Reserve 2011 3rd Pick – Clint Stitser K
(11) Man-Eaters 2011 2nd Pick – Neil Rackers K
(12) Body Burners 2011 1st Pick – John Kuhn RB

MY PICKS: I was not drafting with Eagles fans. When I took Alex Henery, all three of my fellow drafters asked, “Who!?”

If you’re wondering about the 49er and Jaguar defenses, those teams play the Seahawks and Titans in Week 1, respectively.

BEST PICK: Kicker Ndamukong Suh was another joke. Hilarious.

WORST PICK: Brian Westbrook probably won’t be on an NFL roster next year, but you can’t blame Body Burners for trying. Yes, the running back depth this year is that bad. Have I mentioned that at all?
