2025 NFL Draft Prospects: Tight End

10/5/24: Loveland has 23 catches for 228 yards and a touchdown. He has missed some time with an injury.

6/4/24: Loveland made a lot of clutch catches during his sophomore season in 2023, hauling in 45 passes for 649 yards and four touchdowns. On top of being a receiving threat, he flashed some ability to contribute as a blocker. As a freshman, Loveland notched 16 catches for 235 yards and two touchdowns.

10/5/24: Taylor has 28 receptions for 280 yards and a touchdown.

6/4/24: Taylor was an instant contributor as a freshman and provided some clutch plays for the Tigers. In his debut season, he had 38 receptions for 414 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor has a good natural build to go along with impressive speed and athleticism. In 2023 he had 36 catches for 348 yards and a touchdown as the Tigers featured their receivers in the passing attack.

10/5/24: Delp has three receptions for 25 yards.

6/4/24: While Brock Bowers was the star, Delp had a breakout year for the Bulldogs in 2023. During Bowers injury, Delp filled in well and flashed in other games with Bowers. Delp totaled 24 catches for 284 yards and three touchdowns. His production should rise as the feature tight end with Bowers in the NFL.

10/5/24: Velling has 12 receptions for 159 yards.

6/4/24: In 2023 Velling was a nice contributor for the Beavers. Velling flashed some receiving ability catching 29 passes for 438 yards with eight touchdowns. Velling will need to show that he can pass protect and block the c-gap to rise in 2024.

10/5/24: Ten months after a torn ACL, Evans barely played in the season opener against Texas A&M, logging only ten snaps. His workload increased in the following games, and he has 10 receptions for 82 yards thus far. In 2023, Evans led Notre Dame with 29 catches for 422 yards and a touchdown before suffering the injury in October.

10/5/24: Lachey has 12 catches for 97 yards.

6/4/24: Lachey was off to a great start in 2023 before going out for the season with a broken leg. He finished his abbreviated year with 10 receptions for 131 yards. While paired with Sam LaPorta in 2022, Lachey contributed well, recording 28 catches for 398 yards and four touchdowns.

Lachey is a big tight end who is a tough and physical blocker at the point of attack while also being a functional receiver. He needs to put together a healthy season before going pro. Lachey looks like he has the potential to be a starting Y tight end in the NFL.

10/5/24: Morales has five catches for 56 yards.

6/4/24: Morales transferred to Boston College from North Carolina after the 2023 season. With the Tar Heels last season, he recorded 11 catches for 158 yards. Morales contributed as a receiver for Drake Maye in 2022 with 29 receptions for 358 yards and four touchdowns. In 2021, he recorded 24 catches for 220 yards and five touchdowns.

10/5/24: Arroyo has 11 receptions for 272 yards and three touchdowns.

6/4/23: Arroyo had an ACL tear on September 22, 2022, and suffered a setback in the 2023 preseason. He didn’t play until late November and had one catch for 11 yards. Arroyo has some physical talent, but he has yet to break out.

10/5/24: Briningstool has 14 catches for 163 yards with three touchdowns.

6/4/23: Briningstool had a productive 2023 season catching 50 passes for 498 yards and five touchdowns. Briningstool has good height, but he could stand to get stronger as a blocker for the NFL.

10/5/24: Dippre has six catches for 58 yards.

6/4/23: Dippre played in nine games in 2022 catching 11 passes for 187 yards. He showed more ability in 2022 when he caught 30 passes for 314 yards and three touchdowns while playing at Maryland.

10/5/24: Hansen has four receptions for 92 yards.

6/4/23: Hansen has a good skill set and could be a player to watch in 2024. He had 12 catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Hansen is a big tight end that could be a potential Y tight end for the next level.

10/5/24: Boardingham has nine catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.

6/4/23: Boardingham flashed some receiving ability as a redshirt freshman and he could be a riser with his ability to make plays in the passing game. In 2023 Boardingham caught 26 passes for 289 yards and four touchdowns. Boardingham has to show the ability to pass protect and block the c-gap in order to be a rising prospect for the NFL.
