2025 NFL Draft Position Rankings:
QB | RB | FB | WR | TE | OT | G | C | DE | DT | NT | 3-4 OLB | 3-4 DE | OLB | ILB | CB | S | K | P

1. Alabama image Tyler Booker*, G, Alabama
Height: 6-5. Weight: 352.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2025): 1.

2/5/24: Booker was dominant in 2024. He is a true power run blocker who can regularly knock defenders back and push them out of his gap. Booker also is superb in pass protection. Booker looks like a plug-and-play starter with the potential to be a Pro Bowl guard at the NFL level early in his pro career.

6/11/24: Booker rotated into the game during his freshman season with Alabama before becoming a starter in 2023. The massive Booker is a large, powerful blocker at the point of attack. Aside from back spasms that held him out against South Florida, Booker was a mainstay for the Crimson Tide. Booker could stand to trim some weight for the NFL.

2. Texas image Kelvin Banks, G/OT, Texas
Height: 6-4. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2025): 1-2.

2/5/24: Banks played very well against Michigan while taking a group of future NFL defensive linemen. Team sources say that Banks has good athleticism and is a solid player. Some feel he has a body that is better suited for guard, but he might be able to stay at tackle, similar to NFL starters Dion Dawkins and Kelvin Beachum. Some sources think Banks should move to guard, and others think he can start out at at tackle and if he fails there then move him inside.

6/11/24: Banks started at left tackle for the Longhorns in 2023 and had a strong season. He played well against the Crimson Tide and their future pro competitors. Given his body type, Banks might fit best as a guard in the NFL. Banks made an impressive freshman debut, starting at left tackle for the Longhorns. He was a reliable run blocker and showed the potential to be a pass protector. With a quality skill set, Banks has upside and could be a riser for his draft class. He is a candidate to move inside to guard as well.

3. Ohio State image Donovan Jackson*, G, Ohio State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2025): 1-2.

2/5/24: Jackson has missed a few games to start the 2024 season with an undisclosed injury, but he returned to the field for the Buckeyes and has played really well. Jackson is a strong run blocker and reliable in pass protection. With Ohio State down multiple left tackles due to injury, Jackson moved to left tackle and has held up well while clearly playing out of position. Jackson has not pitched shutouts (see Penn State), but he has really stepped up and helped his team by playing well enough at left tackle for them to still produce in both phases. Jackson looks like a safe pick to be a solid starter at guard in the NFL.

6/11/24: In 2023, Jackson was mostly at left guard, where he played solid football for Ohio State. His run blocking could be ahead of his pass protection for the NFL, but he has starting potential for the next level. Jackson was a tough blocker for the Buckeyes in 2022, blasting open holes in the ground game and doing a steady job of protecting C.J. Stroud. Jackson has upside to develop.

4. Purdue image Marcus Mbow, G, Purdue
Height: 6-4. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.50.
Projected Round (2025): 2-4.

2/7/24: Mbow is a nice interior athlete who has some quickness and athleticism. Mbow could stand to get stronger and clean up some technique for the NFL, but he has the skill set to be a solid starting guard as a pro.

5. LSU image Garrett Dillinger, G, LSU
Height: 6-5. Weight: 322.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

2/5/24: Dillinger was a solid blocker for the Tigers over the past few seasons. While he is not a dominator, he is versatile as he also had starts at left tackle and center during his collegiate career. As a senior he played mainly left guard. He could be cross-trained along the line to be a valuable game-day backup.

6. LSU image Miles Frazier, G, LSU
Height: 6-5. Weight: 325.
Projected 40 Time: 5.30.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

2/5/24: Frazier started out his college career at Florida International before transferring to the Tigers. In 2024, Frazier played right guard for the Tigers. He had a respectable season and earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl.

7. Georgia image Xavier Truss*, G/OT, Georgia
Height: 6-7. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.20.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

2/7/24: Truss had a mixed performance taking on Clemson in the season opener, and has had some good games while also having some protection issues in others. He looks like a right tackle or guard for the NFL.

6/11/24: Truss was the starting left guard in 2023, but an injury to Amarius Mims caused Georgia to move Truss to right tackle for some games. While Truss wasn’t bad, playing on the edge illustrated that Truss is a better fit for guard in the NFL. He is a strong blocker and capable protector when playing on the inside. Truss was the starting left guard for the Bulldogs in 2022 and had a strong season. He was a reliable interior pass protector and an effective run blocker. With his size, weight, and length, Truss is a massive interior blocker. It will be interesting to see if Georgia moves him to right tackle in 2024, and that appears to be the plan entering the season.

8. USC image Jonah Monheim, G/OT, USC
Height: 6-5. Weight: 295.
Projected 40 Time: 5.50.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

2/7/24: Monheim played center for the Trojans, and that looks like his best position for the NFL. He needs to get stronger for the NFL, and that was given proof at the Senior Bowl.

6/11/24: Monheim started at left tackle for USC in 2023. He was solid but unspectacular for the Trojans. In 2024 Monheim is moving to center, and that looks like a wise move. Monheim’s body type could should fit better in the middle of the line. Over recent years, Monheim has been a versatile blocker for the Trojans, starting at guard and right tackle as well. Gaining some weight and getting stronger would help Monheim in the NFL. At worst, Monheim could be a valuable game-day backup that can help provide depth at multiple spots.

9. Tennessee image Javontez Spraggins, G, Tennessee
Height: 6-3. Weight: 325.
Projected 40 Time: 5.33.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

2/5/24: Spraggins played well early in the season, and was a solid blocker for the Volunteers.

6/11/24: Spraggins has been the Volunteers starter at right guard over the past three seasons and has shown improvement over that time. In 2023, Spraggins was much better in pass protection only allowing two sacks all season. Spraggins will enter the NFL with a lot of experience against good competition.

10. Georgia image Tate Ratledge, G, Georgia
Height: 6-6. Weight: 315.
Projected 40 Time: 5.30.
Projected Round (2025): 4-6.

2/5/24: Ratledge had a mixed outing at right guard versus Clemson. He is injured and has missed some games. Upon returning to the lineup, Ratledge did not impress. Some team sources say they think Ratledge’s backup is a better player.

6/11/24: Ratledge started at right guard for the Bulldogs. He was solid there and could improve with more experience. His run blocking is better than his pass protection at this point, but Ratledge has a good skill set and the potential to grow into a starting-caliber guard in the NFL.

11. Sacramento State image Jackson Slater, G, Sacramento State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 316.
Projected 40 Time: 5.30.
Projected Round (2025): 4-6.

2/7/24: Slater fights hard at the point of attack and has the size to compete at guard. Slater could compete to be a backup guard that develops into a bigger role.

12. Jacksonville State image Clay Webb, G, Jacksonville State
Height: 6-3. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.50.
Projected Round (2025): 4-6.

2/7/24: Webb was a solid starting guard for Jacksonville State over the past few seasons. He earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Webb looks like a backup caliber guard for the NFL.

13. Clemson image Marcus Tate, G, Clemson
Height: 6-5. Weight: 325.
Projected 40 Time: 5.20.
Projected Round (2025): 5-7.

2/5/24: Tate was starting at left guard for Clemson. He had a mixed outing against Georgia to start the season and was injured in that game. He rotated and was a backup for the Tigers.

6/11/24: Entering the 2024 season, Tate has been a three-year starter for the Tigers and is projected to be a starter at left guard in 2024. Tate has had the past two seasons cut short with season-ending injuries, so staying healthy for the entire season is vital to keep Tate from getting flunked medically by NFL teams.

14. Illinois State image Hunter Zambrano, G, Illinois State
Height: 6-5. Weight: 300.
Projected 40 Time: 5.13.
Projected Round (2025): 5-7.

2/5/24: Zambrano will need to play well at an All-Star game to help his draft stock with teams.

6/11/24: Over the past three seasons, Zambrano has been a standout left tackle for the Redbirds. While Zambrano has played left tackle in college, he could fit better as a guard at the NFL level. Zambrano is a sleeper that could rise if he impresses at an all-star game.

15. Michigan image Giovanni El-Hadi, G, Michigan
Height: 6-5. Weight: 318.
Projected 40 Time: 5.24.
Projected Round (2025): 7-FA.

2/5/24: El-Hadi had a mixed outing against Texas among others. He has been better as a run blocker than pass protector thus far.

6/11/24: El-Hadi was stuck behind Zak Zinter on the depth chart with the Wolverines, but El-Hadi played well when given some rotational snaps. He also did a nice job of filling in for Zinter late in the season when the veteran went down with an injury. El-Hadi could be a riser as a full-time starter in 2024.

16. Notre Dame image Pat Coogan, G, Notre Dame
Height: 6-5. Weight: 302.
Projected 40 Time: 5.33.
Projected Round (2025): 7-FA.

2/5/24: Coogan was a rotational player for the Irish.

6/11/24: There were a ton of NFL eyes on the Notre Dame offensive line in 2023, watching star left tackle Joe Alt. While Alt was dominant, Coogan played well next to him, forming a tough left side of the line for the Fighting Irish. Coogan won the starting left guard job during fall training camp, and he could be even better in 2024 now that he has a year of experience. Notre Dame’s scheme is better than most college systems for teaching and developing offensive linemen, so that will help Coogan and his teammates with pro evaluators.
