1. Colorado image Travis Hunter*, CB, Colorado
Height: 6-1. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
Projected Round (2025): 1.

6/18/24: Hunter flashed dominant cover ability in 2023 with 31 tackles, three interceptions, and five passes defended before getting injured. As a part-time receiver, Hunter also totaled 16 receptions for 213 yards. At Jackson State in 2022, he recorded 19 tackles, two interceptions, and eight passes broken up. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder possesses otherworldly athleticism alongside superb instincts and feel.

2. Michigan image Will Johnson*, CB, Michigan
Height: 6-2. Weight: 202.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2025): 1-2.

6/18/24: Johnson played really well for the Wolverines in 2023 and provided very good coverage late in the year during their championship run. He totaled 27 tackles, four interceptions, and four passes defended for 2023. In 2022, he recorded 27 tackles, three interceptions, and three passes broken up. Johnson has a good skill set and upside.

3. Notre Dame image Benjamin Morrison*, CB, Notre Dame
Height: 6-0. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2025): 1-2.

6/18/24: In 2023, Morrison notched 31 tackles, three interceptions and 10 passes defended. He had a nice performance against Ohio State, helping to limit Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. Morrison was a freshman sensation in 2022, recording 33 tackles, six interceptions, and five passes defended. The 6-foot, 185-pounder has talent and upside.

4. Ohio State image Jordan Hancock*, CB, Ohio State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2025): 1-2.

6/18/24: Hancock had 41 tackles, two forced fumbles, two sacks, two interceptions and four passes defended in 2023. He possesses good size and upside.

5. Kentucky image Maxwell Hairston*, CB, Kentucky
Height: 6-1. Weight: 181.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2025): 1-3.

6/18/24: Hairston had a breakout 2023 season and was phenomenal for the Wildcats. He had five interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns, to go along with six passes broken up and 66 tackles. Hairston has good height, length, and instincts. It would help Hairston if he added some weight to tackle in the NFL.

6. Ohio State image Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 190.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2025): 1-3.

6/18/24: In 2023, Burke totaled 24 tackles, an interception and eight passes defended. He recorded 34 tackles and five breakups in 2022. Burke has NFL size, but he has some technique issues that he needs to clean up. Team sources felt Burke should not enter the 2024 NFL Draft, and Burke was wise to go back to school to improve before going pro.

7. Georgia image Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia
Height: 6-1. Weight: 190.
Projected 40 Time: 4.51.
Projected Round (2025): 1-3.

6/18/24: Everette has a good skill set and a ton of upside to develop as he gains experience. In 2023, the sophomore corner played well for the Bulldogs, registering 29 tackles and five passes broken up. Everette could take over as Georgia’s No. 1 corner in 2024.

8. Oklahoma image Gentry Williams, CB, Oklahoma
Height: 6-0. Weight: 182.
Projected 40 Time: 4.51.
Projected Round (2025): 1-3.

6/18/24: Williams notched 30 tackles, one pass batted and three interceptions in 2023. As he gets more experience, Williams could rise as he has upside with quality size, quickness, and athleticism.

9. Oregon image Jabbar Muhammad, CB, Oregon
Height: 5-10. Weight: 183.
Projected 40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2025): 2-3.

6/18/24: Muhammad is a gritty football player who lacks strength but has impressive instincts and playmaking ability. In 2023, Muhammad played at Washington and was very productive, recording 46 tackles with three interceptions and 14 passes broken up. He had 48 tackles with an interception and nine passes defended in 2022. Before playing with Washington, Muhammad was at Oklahoma State.

10. Louisville image Tahveon Nicholson*, CB, Louisville
Height: 5-11. Weight: 180.
Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
Projected Round (2025): 2-3.

6/18/24: Nicholson totaled 36 tackles, two forced fumbles, and six passes defended for Illinois in 2023. After the season, he transferred to Ole Miss but then flipped to Louisville. In recent years, Illinois has produced some excellent defensive back prospects for the NFL, and Nicholson was brought in with a talented group. In 2022, Nicholson recorded 19 tackles, an interception, and seven passes defended. Given his size, Nicholson could fit best as an inside slot corner as a pro.

11. Minnesota image Justin Walley, CB, Minnesota
Height: 5-11. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.46.
Projected Round (2025): 2-4.

6/18/24: Team sources said Walley impressed them during the 2023 season as they prepared reports on Walley in case he decided to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Walley was a steady defender for Minnesota. In 2023, he has 36 tackles, eight passes broken up, a forced fumble, and an interception. Walley was a gritty defender for the Golden Gophers in 2022, recording 39 tackles, three picks, and two passes defended. Given his size, Walley might be a better fit as a slot corner as a pro, but he is a smooth nickel corner who can run the route and prevent separation. Walley could end up being a second-day prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.

12. Arizona image Tacario Davis*, CB, Arizona
Height: 6-4. Weight: 195.
Projected 40 Time: 4.52.
Projected Round (2025): 2-4.

6/18/24: Davis is a tall and long cornerback who flashed ability for Arizona in 2023. He totaled 25 tackles with an interception and 15 passes broken up in a breakout 2023 season. Davis could stand to turn some of those broken-up passes into interceptions in 2024. To address the question with all big cornerbacks, Davis must show that he can run with speed receivers.

13. Ohio State image Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 190.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2025): 2-4.

6/18/24: Igbinosun is a big cornerback with the skill set to be a riser for the 2025 NFL Draft. Igbinosun totaled 59 tackles with five passes broken up in 2023. The previous season, he had 36 tackles and five breakups while playing for Ole Miss. It would help Igbinosun if he produced some interceptions in 2024 as he has zero combined over his previous two seasons.

14. Florida State image Fentrell Cypress II, CB, Florida State
Height: 6-0. Weight: 187.
Projected 40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2025): 2-4.

6/18/24: Although Florida State had more experienced corners, Cypress was a starter in 2023 and a solid contributor for the Seminoles. He totaled 40 tackles with a forced fumble and seven passes broken up. In the previous three seasons, Cyrpess played at Virginia. In 2022 he had 13 break ups to go along with 39 tackles. Cyrpess enters his final season with only one interception that he recorded in 2022.

15. Wisconsin image Ricardo Hallman*, CB, Wisconsin
Height: 5-10. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.46.
Projected Round (2025): 3-4.

6/18/24: Hallman is undersized but a gritty cornerback with dangerous ball skills. In 2023 Hallman had seven interceptions with five passes broken up and 34 tackles for the Badgers. Hallman would fit best as an inside cornerback in the NFL.

16. LSU image Zy Alexander, CB, LSU
Height: 6-2. Weight: 188.
Projected 40 Time: 4.52.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

6/18/24: Alexander was a standout at Southeastern Louisiana for two seasons before transferring to LSU. In 2021, he had an impressive debut with six interceptions. In his second season, Alexander totaled 24 tackles with three interceptions and four passes broken up. As a junior, Alexander had a respectable season for LSU, recording 44 tackles with two interceptions and seven passes defended. Alexander has good size and could be a riser in 2024 if he shows speed and can run the route to prevent separation.

17. Louisville image Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville
Height: 6-0. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

6/18/24: Team sources said Riley played well in 2023 and that they felt he could be a solid backup/rotational cornerback in the NFL. Riley has versatile size, so he could be a valuable backup for the slot or outside corner. In 2023, he totaled 49 tackles, three interceptions and 10 passes defended. Riley previously played at Middle Tennessee.

18. Utah image Zemaiah Vaughn, CB, Utah
Height: 6-0. Weight: 188.
Projected 40 Time: 4.49.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

6/18/24: Vaughn had 53 tackles, an interception, and six passes broken up in 2023. He had some mixed performances and didn’t help himself. Vaughn is a big cornerback who has plus size and length. In 2022, he recorded 25 tackles and nine passes defended. Even though Vaughn is a big corner, he moves well for his size. It would help Vaughn to show more ball skills and produce some interceptions in 2024.

19. Florida image Jason Marshall Jr., CB, Florida
Height: 6-1. Weight: 198.
Projected 40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

6/18/24: Marshall totaled 26 tackles and 11 passes broken up in 2023. He was inconsistent in coverage and gave up some big plays, but he has a quality skill set. Marshall was wise to return to school and improve before going pro. Marshall has quality size and speed, but he needs to become more consistent in his technique and improve his route recognition. In 2022, Marshall recorded 29 tackles, an interception, and eight passes defended. He has the potential to rise if he can improve his technique and consistency.

20. Kansas image Mello Dotson, CB, Kansas
Height: 6-1. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.49.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

6/18/24: Dotson broke out in the 2022 season, recording 54 tackles, two interceptions and six passes broken up. In 2023, he had 48 tackles, four interceptions, and 11 passes defended. Dotson has good height and length and could be a riser for the 2025 NFL Draft.

21. Kansas image Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas
Height: 6-0. Weight: 188.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2025): 4-6.

6/18/24: Bryant had a solid 2021 season for Kansas, recording 22 tackles, two interceptions and one pass broken up. He lost his 2022 season to an ankle injury. In 2023, Bryant recorded 30 tackles, two interceptions, and five passes defended. Team sources said Bryant had day-three potential if he had decided to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

22. Michigan State image Tony Grimes, CB, Michigan State
Height: 6-0. Weight: 195.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2024): 7-FA.

6/18/24: Grimes was a backup for Texas A&M in 2023. He transferred to Michigan State after the season. Prior to 2023, Grimes played at North Carolina. In 2022, Grimes recorded 36 tackles with seven passes defended. He totaled nine passes broken up and 47 tackles in 2021. He did not record an interception for North Carolina in either season.

Lewis recorded 29 tackles, an interception, and four passes defended in 2022. He played better in 2021, having put up 53 tackles, an interception, and four passes broken up. After the 2023 season, Lewis transferred to Syracuse.
