Projected 40 Time: 4.60.
Projected Round (2025): 1-3.

1/25/25: Taylor had 55 receptions for 546 yards and two touchdowns. He has played well as a receiver and showed the ability to help in pass protection and block the c-gap. Taylor looks like a potential three-down starter for the NFL.

6/4/24: Taylor was an instant contributor as a freshman and provided some clutch plays for the Tigers. In his debut season, he had 38 receptions for 414 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor has a good natural build to go along with impressive speed and athleticism. 4. Bowling Green image Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green
Height: 6-4. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Projected Round (2025): 2-3.

1/25/25: Fannin was extremely productive for the Falcons in 2024 totaling 117 catches for 1,155 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had nine carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. Fannin projects to be an F tight end for the NFL. He will have to develop the ability to pass protect and block the c-gap to be a true three-down starter.

5. Notre Dame image Mitchell Evans, TE, Notre Dame
Height: 6-5. Weight: 160.
Projected 40 Time: 4.69.
Projected Round (2025): 2-3.

1/25/25: Ten months after a torn ACL, Evans was gradually worked into the lineup, and his playing time increased throughout the season. In 2024 had 43 catches for 421 yards and three touchdowns. In 2023, Evans led Notre Dame with 29 catches for 422 yards and a touchdown before suffering the injury in October.

6. Texas image Gunnar Helm, TE, Texas
Height: 6-5. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.73.
Projected Round (2025): 2-4.

1/25/25: Texas lost two talented receivers to the 2024 NFL Draft, and this season, they have had to rely on other players to step up and help replace the production of Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell. Helm is one of those players, as the senior tight end was a dangerous seam weapon for Quinn Ewers. In 2024, Helm had 60 catches for 786 yards and seven touchdowns. It has been a huge jump in production from 2023 when he had 14 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns as Ja’Tavion Sanders was the featured tight end. Helm has quality size to be a blocker and has flashed some functional receiving ability. Helm could be a sleeper who is a nice value pick in the 2025 draft.

7. Oregon image Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
Height: 6-5. Weight: 255.
Projected 40 Time: 4.59.
Projected Round (2025): 3-4.

1/25/25: Ferguson was a good contributor for the Ducks in 2024, hauling in 43 receptions for 591 yards with three touchdowns. Ferguson has been very consistent over his four-year career at Oregon. In 2022 (32-391-5) and 2023 (42-414-6) he was a good contributor through the air. If Ferguson excels in the post-season he has the potential to rise after showing steady receiving production in college.

8. Pittsburgh image Gavin Bartholomew, TE, Pittsburgh
Height: 6-5. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.77.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

1/25/25: Bartholomew had 38 catches for 322 yards and four touchdowns. He was a decent contributor in other seasons and earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Bartholomew has the potential to be a solid backup in the NFL.

9. UCLA image Moliki Matavo, TE, UCLA
Height: 6-6. Weight: 263.
Projected 40 Time: 4.73.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

1/25/25: Matavo had a solid season for the Bruins in 2024 with 41 catches for 506 yards and two touchdowns. Matavo is a big tight end that could be a Y tight end candidate for the NFL. He earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl.

10. Georgia Tech image Jackson Hawes, TE, Georgia Tech
Height: 6-5. Weight: 260.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

1/25/25: Hawes was not a prolific receiver in 2024, but he was a good enough blocker to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl. In 2024, Hawes had 16 receptions for 195 yards. Hawes needs to show receiving ability in Mobile to help his draft stock.

11. Iowa image Luke Lachey*, TE, Iowa
Height: 6-6. Weight: 253.
Projected 40 Time: 4.66.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

1/25/25: Lachey had 28 catches for 231 yards.

6/4/24: Lachey was off to a great start in 2023 before going out for the season with a broken leg. He finished his abbreviated year with 10 receptions for 131 yards. While paired with Sam LaPorta in 2022, Lachey contributed well, recording 28 catches for 398 yards and four touchdowns.

Lachey is a big tight end who is a tough and physical blocker at the point of attack while also being a functional receiver. He needs to put together a healthy season before going pro. Lachey looks like he has the potential to be a starting Y tight end in the NFL.

12. Boston College image Kamari Morales*, TE, Boston College
Height: 6-2. Weight: 245.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

1/25/25: Morales had 28 catches for 325 yards and six touchdowns.

6/4/24: Morales transferred to Boston College from North Carolina after the 2023 season. With the Tar Heels last season, he recorded 11 catches for 158 yards. Morales contributed as a receiver for Drake Maye in 2022 with 29 receptions for 358 yards and four touchdowns. In 2021, he recorded 24 catches for 220 yards and five touchdowns.

13. Miami image Elijah Arroyo*, TE, Miami
Height: 6-4. Weight: 235.
Projected 40 Time: 4.70.
Projected Round (2024): 3-5.

1/25/25: Arroyo had 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns.

6/4/23: Arroyo had an ACL tear on September 22, 2022, and suffered a setback in the 2023 preseason. He didn’t play until late November and had one catch for 11 yards. Arroyo has some physical talent, but he has yet to break out.

14. Clemson image Jake Briningstool, TE, Clemson
Height: 6-6. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.77.
Projected Round (2025): 4-6.

1/25/25: Briningstool had 49 catches for 530 yards with seven touchdowns.

6/4/23: Briningstool had a productive 2023 season catching 50 passes for 498 yards and five touchdowns. Briningstool has good height, but he could stand to get stronger as a blocker for the NFL.

15. Nebraska image Thomas Fidone II, TE, Nebraska
Height: 6-6. Weight: 255.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2025): 4-6.

1/25/25: Fidone had a quality season for the Cornhuskers in 2024 totaling 36 catches for 373 yards. He had 25 receptions for 260 yards and four touchdowns in 2023.

16. Alabama image C.J. Dippre, TE, Alabama
Height: 6-5. Weight: 260.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2025): 5-7.

1/25/25: Dippre had 21 catches for 256 yards and zero touchdowns.

6/4/23: Dippre played in nine games in 2022 catching 11 passes for 187 yards. He showed more ability in 2022 when he caught 30 passes for 314 yards and three touchdowns while playing at Maryland.
