Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Andrew Mevis, Iowa State
  • '21 - Evan McPherson, Florida
  • '20 - Rodrigo Blankenship, Georgia
1. Clemson image B.T. Potter, K, Clemson
Height: 5-10. Weight: 190.
Projected Round (2023): 5-7.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: Potter was superb for the Tigers in the 2021 season, drilling 10-of-11 in the 40-yard range and going 2-for-3 in 50+. He connected on 81 percent for the season (21-of-26). In 2020, he hit on 78 percent, and in 2019, he succeeded 62 percent of the time. However, he showed deep accuracy over those two seasons, nailing 5-of-6 in 50+. Potter's weakness comes in the 30-39-yard range, where he missed three field goals in each of the past three seasons. The wider hash marks in college football make that range more difficult than in the NFL, but Potter would still help himself by showing improvement in his final season.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Parker White, South Carolina
  • '21 - Jose Borregales, Miami
  • '20 - Tyler Bass, Georgia Southern
2. Auburn image Anders Carlson, K, Auburn
Height: 6-5. Weight: 220.
Projected Round (2023): 5-7.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: In 2021, Carlson made 14-of-21 field goals - 66.7 percent. He was 6-of-8 in the 40-yard range and 0-for-3 in the 50+ territory. He was much better in 2020. when he hit 91 percent of his attempts, going 5-for-5 in the 40s and 2-for-3 in the 50+. If Carlson returns to his 2020 form as a senior, he could be the top kicker in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Lucas Havrisik, Arizona
  • '21 - Riley Patterson, Memphis
  • '20 - Jet Toner, Stanford
3. Alabama image Will Reichard, K, Alabama
Height: 6-0. Weight: 195.
Projected Round (2023): 5-7.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: Reichard connected on 22-of-28 field goals in 2021 - 79 percent - with a long of 51 yards. Kicker has been perhaps the one position where Nick Saban has had multiple disappointments during his time at Alabama, but Reichard put a stop to that with a perfect 2020 season, hitting on 14 attempts. He kicked a long of 52 and showed accuracy in the tricky 40-49-yard range.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Jonathan Doerer, Notre Dame
  • '21 - Quinn Nordin, Michigan
  • '20 - Ricky Aguayo, Florida State
4. Maryland image Chad Ryland, K, Maryland
Height: 6-0. Weight: 183.
Projected Round (2023): 6-FA.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: Ryland kicked for Eastern Michigan before transferring to Maryland for 2022, which should be his final season. In 2021, he hit 86 percent of his field goals, including going 5-for-6 in the 40-49-yard range and 2-for-2 in the 50+. He hit on 85 percent in 2020 and 74 percent in 2019.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Andre Szmyt, Syracuse
  • '21 - Blake Lynch, Kansas State
  • '20 - Jace Christmann, Mississippi State
5. Western Kentucky image Brayden Narveson, K, Western Kentucky
Height: 6-1. Weight: 195.
Projected Round (2023): 6-FA.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: In 2021, Narveson was 23-of-29 - a rate of 79.3 percent - with a long of 53 yards. He kicked really well for the Hilltoppers in 2020, missing one field goal all year, and that one was in the 50-yard range. He was a perfect 6-for-6 in the 40s and hit a long of 53.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Luis Aguilar, Northern Arizona
  • '21 - Brandon Ruiz, Mississippi State
6. Duke image Charlie Ham, K, Duke
Height: 6-2. Weight: 180.
Projected Round (2023): 7-FA.

View Ranking History

2/22/22: Ham hit on 87 percent of his field goals in 2020 (13-of-15). However, his one miss came in the 40-yard range, and he didn't have any attempts of 50 yards or more. In 2021, Ham connected on 14-of-20 with a long of 50. Showing more leg strength and improving his accuracy in 2022 would help Ham.

Previous Seasons

  • '21 - Matt Coghlin, Michigan State
7. BYU image Jake Oldroyd, K, BYU
Height: 6-1. Weight: 195.
Projected Round (2023): 7-FA.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: Oldroyd was not as good in 2021, connecting on 9-of-13 kicks, as he was in 2020. Oldroyd was perfect in 2020, hitting on all 13 of his attempts. He was extremely impressive from long distances, going 4-for-4 in the 40s and 3-for-3 in the 50s. His long was 54 yards. It was a big improvement over 2019 when he made 67 percent of his field goalss, although he hit another 54-yarder.

8. Indiana image Charles Campbell, K, Indiana
Height: 6-4. Weight: 205.
Projected Round (2023): 7-FA.

View Ranking History

7/14/22: In 2021, Campbell hit 72 percent of his field goals (13-of-18) with a long of 55 yards. Campbell was not as accurate as in 2020 or 2019, so he needs to bounce back in 2022. I'm tempted to project this guy as a first-rounder because he has a great name, but kickers don't get selected in the early rounds of NFL drafts, generally. Campbell put together an excellent 2020 season, hitting 10-of-11 fields goals - his one miss came in the 40-yard range. Campbell was a perfect 3-for-3 in the 50s, connecting on a long of 53.
