Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Devin Lloyd, Utah
  • '21 - Micah Parsons, Penn State
  • '20 - Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma
1. Iowa image Jack Campbell, ILB, Iowa
Height: 6-5. Weight: 243.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.
Projected Round (2023): 1-3
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Campbell has racked up 30 tackles so far in 2022. Team sources like Campbell and think he will go in the first three rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft. They call him a taller version of Chad Muma.

7/8/22: Campbell was a tackling machine for the Hawkeyes in 2021 with 140 tackles, a sack, one forced fumble, two interceptions and five passes defensed. He is a large linebacker with the height and size to function in the tackle box. If Campbell covers well, he could rise.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Nakobe Dean, Georgia
  • '21 - Jamin Davis, Kentucky
  • '20 - Jordyn Brooks, Texas Tech
2. Oregon image Noah Sewell*, ILB, Oregon
Height: 6-3. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2023): 1-3
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Thus far in 2022, Sewell has recorded seven tackles. He has been very quiet and disappointing this season.

7/8/22: Sewell was all over the field for the Ducks during the 2021 season, totaling 114 tackles, four sacks, one interception, five passes broken up and two forced fumbles. To go along with his production, Sewell is a big and imposing linebacker at 6-foot-3, 251 pounds. If he shows good pass-coverage skills, Sewell could rise in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Quay Walker, Georgia
  • '21 - Zaven Collins, Tulsa
  • '20 - Justin Strnad, Wake Forest
3. Notre Dame image Jack Kiser*, ILB, Notre Dame
Height: 6-2. Weight: 227.
Projected 40 Time: 4.70.
Projected Round (2023): 2-3
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Kiser has 17 tackles and a sack so far in 2022.

7/8/22: Kiser flashed some ability as a sophomore in 2021 with 45 tackles two forced fumbles, two interceptions and four passes broken up. Those splash plays and big plays in pass coverage are very intriguing for the passing-driven NFL. If Kiser continues to produce well in coverage while displaying tough run defense, he could really rise for the 2023 or 2024 NFL Draft.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Christian Harris, Alabama
  • '21 - Jabril Cox, LSU
  • '20 - Anfernee Jennings, Alabama
4. Alabama image Henry To'oTo'o, ILB, Alabama
Height: 6-0. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Projected Round (2023): 2-4.
View Ranking History

9/24/22: To'oTo'o has notched 17 tackles and one sack thus far in 2022. Team sources say To'oTo'o is a good athlete and very instinctive, but he plays small and is not special in terms of speed and explosion.

7/8/22: To'oto'o was a solid run defender for Alabama overall in 2021. He totaled 111 tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble and two passes defended on the year. He had 76 stops, an interception and two passes broken up in 2020. For To'oto'o to rise, he needs to show more ability to drop into pass coverage.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Chad Muma, Wyoming
  • '21 - Chazz Surratt, North Carolina
  • '20 - Troy Dye, Oregon
5. Texas image Demarvion Overshown, ILB, Texas
Height: 6-2. Weight: 215.
Projected 40 Time: 4.70.
Projected Round (2023): 2-4
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Thus far in 2022, Overshown has 23 tackles and a pass broken up.

7/8/22: Overshown recorded 74 tackles, two passes broken up and two sacks in 2021. He put together an impressive game against Oklahoma. Overshown broke out in 2020 with 60 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and seven passes defended.

Overshown has serious speed and athleticism to fly around the field and make plays on the ball. Team sources say Overshown has starting potential, but he needs to get stronger and tougher for taking on blocks because there are plays on tape where he gets blasted by offensive linemen. Adding power and weight could help him rise.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Brandon Smith, Penn State
  • '21 - Nick Bolton, Missouri
  • '20 - Malik Harrison, Ohio State
6. N.C. State image Isaiah Moore, ILB, N.C. State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 239.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2023): 2-4
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Thus far in 2022, Moore has 11 tackles and a sack.

7/8/22: Moore has been a solid defender for the Wolfpack over the last four seasons. He collected 43 stops, a sack, an interception and three passes defended over six games in 2021 before going down with a season-ending knee injury. In 2020, he had 94 tackles with three sacks and two passes broken up. If Moore comes back 100 percent and returns to his pre-injury form, he could be a nice value pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Damone Clark, LSU
  • '21 - Monty Rice, Georgia
  • '20 - Joe Bachie, Michigan State
7. Oregon State image Avery Roberts, ILB, Oregon State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 234.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Projected Round (2023): 2-4
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Roberts has yet to play this season.

7/8/22: Roberts was all over the field for the Beavers in 2021, recording 123 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one interception and two passes defended. He also played well in the short 2020 season, picking up 69 tackles. In 2019, Roberts had 84 tackles, two sacks and two passes defended.

Roberts has good size and plays the run well. If he runs fast times in pre-draft workouts and shows pass-coverage skills in 2022, he could rise.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - JoJo Domann, Nebraska
  • '21 - Baron Browning, Ohio State
  • '20 - Jacob Phillips, LSU
8. LSU image Micah Baskerville, ILB, LSU
Height: 6-0. Weight: 223.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Projected Round (2023): 3-5
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Baskerville is a fast, pursuit linebacker. He has nine tackles and an interception thus far in 2022.

7/8/22: In 2021, Baskerville collected 83 tackles, two sacks, an interception and three passes broken up. He was a decent linebacker next to Damone Clark, but Baskerville faces some limitations for the NFL. Baskerville recorded 55 tackles in 2020 while playing in a rotation with a number of other talented linebackers. He is a tough run defender who needs to show progress in pass coverage.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Zakoby McClain, Auburn
  • '21 - Dylan Moses, Alabama
  • '20 - David Woodward, Utah State
9. Florida image Ventrell Miller, ILB, Florida
Height: 5-11. Weight: 228.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.
Projected Round (2023): 3-5
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Miller has played well for the Gators this year, recording 15 tackles and a pass broken up so far. He is a physical and tough run defender, but faces speed and athletic limitations for covering in the NFL. In '70s or '80s NFL football, he would get drafted in the early rounds, but with the passing-driven modern game, he looks like a backup linebacker and special teams contributor.

7/8/22: Miller notched eight tackles in 2021 before tearing a biceps in the second game and going out for the season. Florida really missed him all year, and he has the potential to rise as a senior provided he can stay healthy. Miller dropped some weight compared to previous years and played faster in 2020. He totaled 86 tackles, three passes broken up and 3.5 sacks that season while flying around the field with his speed and physicality. As a redshirt sophomore in 2019, Miller totaled 55 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions.

Miller displays good instincts and sets a physical tone for the defense. If he can show more pass-coverage skills, that would help his draft grade tremendously.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Grant Morgan, Arkansas
  • '21 - Derrick Barnes, Purdue
  • '20 - Michael Divinity, LSU
10. USC image Shane Lee, ILB, USC
Height: 6-0. Weight: 246.
Projected 40 Time: 4.62.
Projected Round (2023): 4-6.
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Lee has had a solid start to the season for the Trojans with 16 tackles, an interception and one pass broken up.

7/8/22: Lee made just six tackles in 2021. He was limited by an injury to start the season and never passed the players who were starting above him. With Dylan Moses being injured in 2019, Lee took on a larger than expected role as a freshman and had an impressive season, making a lot of splash plays for the Crimson Tide defense. His 10 pass breakups, 4.5 sacks and one interception was impressive production in pass defense for a first-year player. Lee has ability and upside to rise if he sees the field in 2022.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Jesse Luketa, Penn State
  • '21 - K.J. Britt, Auburn
  • '20 - Logan Wilson, Wyoming
11. Indiana image Cam Jones, ILB, Indiana
Height: 6-3. Weight: 224.
Projected 40 Time: 4.78.
Projected Round (2023): 4-6
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Thus far in 2022, Jones has 32 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one pass broken up thus far.

7/8/22: Jones collected 63 tackles, a sack and two passes broken up in 2021. He had 35 tackles in each of the previous two seasons, plus totaled five sacks, five breakups and an interception over that time. Jones needs to be more productive as a senior to rise.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - D'Marco Jackson, Appalachian State
  • '21 - Pete Werner, Ohio State
  • '20 - Evan Weaver, California
12. Washington State image Daiyan Henley, ILB, Washington State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 220.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2023): 4-6
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Henley has 30 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception so far in 2022.

7/8/22: In 2021, Henley notched 94 tackles, four interceptions and three passes defended while playing for Nevada. The redshirt senior transferred to Washington State for 2022. Henley has quality size, and he could be a riser if he shows good pass-coverage skills against the Pac-12 competition.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Baylon Spector, Clemson
  • '21 - Tony Fields II, West Virginia
  • '20 - De'Jon Harris, Arkansas
13. Auburn image Owen Pappoe, ILB, Auburn
Height: 6-1. Weight: 226.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.
Projected Round (2023): 4-6
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Pappoe has 17 tackles thus far in 2022.

7/8/22: Pappoe recorded 23 tackles over five games in 2021 because he dealt with injuries throughout the season. In 2020, he had 93 tackles, four sacks, an interception and two passes broken up. The injuries and rehab carried into the spring of 2022, so Pappoe needs to stay healthy and productive as a senior to stay draft-able.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - Terrell Bernard, Baylor
  • '21 - Grant Stuard, Houston
  • '20 - Shaquille Quarterman, Miami
14. Hawaii image Darius Muasau, ILB, Hawaii
Height: 6-1. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.78.
Projected Round (2023): 5-7
View Ranking History

9/24/22: So far this year, Muasau has 15 tackles.

7/8/22: Muasau has been a steady tackler and producer for the Rainbow Warriors over the past two seasons. In 2021, he amassed 108 tackles, seven sacks, five forced fumbles, an interception and four passes defended. During the previous season, he recorded 102 tackles, 4.5 sacks, an interception and a pass broken up. Muasauo is sleeper who could rise. He could help himself by standing out at an all-star game after the season.

Previous Seasons

  • '22 - James Skalski, Clemson
  • '21 - Dorian Etheridge, Louisville
  • '20 - Markus Bailey, Purdue
15. Utah image Mohamoud Diabate, ILB, Utah
Height: 6-3. Weight: 227.
Projected 40 Time: 4.78.
Projected Round (2023): 5-7
View Ranking History

9/24/22: Diabate has 13 tackles so far this year. He has not been impressive for the Utes.

7/8/22: Diabate was a decent defender for the Florida Gators in 2021, recording 89 tackles. In 2020, he had 67 tackles, an interception and 1.5 sacks. Diabate transferred to the Utes for 2022. He needs to improve his pass-coverage skills, and he looks like a potential backup linebacker and special teams contributor in the NFL.

  • '21 - Paddy Fisher, Northwestern
  • '20 - Kyahva Tezino, San Diego State
16. Washington image Edefuan Ulofoshio*, ILB, Washington

7/8/22: Ulofoshio notched 51 tackles and a pass broken up in 2021. In 2020, he recorded 47 tackles with a sack, forced fumble and four passes broken up. Ulofoshio made it onto NFL teams' preseason watch list, but he will need to produce more as a junior to rise.

  • '21 - Tuf Borland, Ohio State
  • '20 - Dante Olson, Montana
17. Illinois image Calvin Hart Jr.*, ILB, Illinois

Projected Round (2023): 7-FA
View Ranking History

  • '22 - Micah McFadden, Indiana
  • '21 - Erroll Thompson, Mississippi State
  • '20 - Shaun Bradley, Temple
18. Stanford image Jacob Mangum-Farrar, ILB, Stanford
