The NFL is a lot different than it used to be. While the older players used to care about winning, players today are more concerned with money and respect. With that in mind, it shouldn’t surprise you that teams react extremely well to being shut out at home. In the wake of a home shutout, players tend to rebound with a strong effort to gain back whatever respect they lost.
