NFL Betting Trends: Coming off a Bye



People love to play teams coming off byes. That may seem to make sense in theory, but doing so generally produces a 50-percent result.

When dealing with a situation like this, it's important to take a look at how every coach fares off a bye. Some, like Mike Shanahan, have their team focused after a week off. Others, like Mike Holmgren, tend to fail after the bye.
