2026 NFL Draft Prospects: Quarterback

11/4/25: After Alabama’s rough start to the year in a loss to Florida State, Simpson has been superb, leading the Crimson Tide to six straight wins. In 2025, Simpson has completed 68 percent of his passes for 2,184 yards with 20 touchdowns and an interception. Simpson has shown some serious arm talent, making some beautiful throws downfield with superb ball placement to beat tight coverage. In tight games, Simpson made some great passes to lead his team to wins over Georgia and Missouri. Simpson is accurate, smart, has a strong arm, and throws with timing and anticipation. Simpson has shown superb ball security this season as well, with only one interception. If Simpson stays consistent, he could be a high first-round pick in the 2026 or 2027 NFL Draft.

11/4/25: Moore has been a dynamic point-producer for the Ducks in 2025, making plays with his arm and legs. In 2025, Moore has completed 72 percent of his passes for 1,772 yards with 19 touchdowns and four interceptions. Moore is a dangerous quarterback who is tough to defend. In 2023 with UCLA, Moore completed 54 percent of his passes for 1,610 yards with 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Moore has a good arm and can throw some beautiful passes deep down the field. Moore has a lot of talent and upside, but against Indiana, Moore struggled. He showed that he needs to improve his processing speed and was holding the ball too long, leading to taking unnecessary sacks.

<> 11/4/25: Mendoza has completed 72 percent of his passes for 2,124 yards with 25 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has two rushing touchdowns as well. Of the 2026 quarterback prospects, Mendoza could be the most pro-ready. He has a quality arm, reads the field well, makes good decisions, and has dangerous pocket passing ability.

Mendoza played well for Cal in 2024. He completed 69 percent of his passes for 3,004 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions. Mendoza has good size, and it will be interesting to see how he develops at Indiana.

11/4/25: Mateer has completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,949 yards with eight touchdowns, seven interceptions, and five rushing touchdowns. After having hand surgery, Mateer was expected to miss a month but was only out for 17 days. After rushing back, Mateer had a horrible game against Texas, throwing three bad interceptions and taking some bad snaps.

For the NFL, Mateer looks like a starter who could be a devastating passer. Mateer (6-1, 224) is an accurate passer with excellent ball placement overall. He has a few throws get away from him, but Mateer has impressive precision as a passer. Mateer is very mobile in the pocket and can hurt defenses on the ground. As a passer, Mateer is similar to Baker Mayfield, but Mateer is a better athlete and more dangerous with his feet. It would not surprise this analyst if Mateer ends up rising high for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Mateer played well for Washington State in 2024 and impressed in his first year as a starter. He completed 65 percent of his passes for 3,139 yards with 29 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Mateer has some mobility and is a gritty competitor. Some team sources have compared Mateer to former Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield. Mateer could be a high riser during the 2025 season.

11/4/25: Sellers has completed 6` percent of his passes for 1,536 yards with seven touchdowns passing, five interceptions, two rushing, and some yardage on the ground.

Sellers has a big-time skill set and could be a special quarterback. In 2024, Sellers completed 66 percent of his passes for 2,534 yards with 18 touchdown passes, seven interceptions, and seven rushing touchdowns. He showed a strong arm with dynamic running ability and true dual-threat talent for the NFL.

11/4/25: In 2025, Iamaleava has completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,468 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He has four scores on the ground. Iamaleava was incredible in putting the team on his back and leading a winless Bruins team to a massive upset of Penn State, the No. 7-ranked team in the nation. In 2024 with Tennessee, Iamaleava has completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,616 yards with 19 touchdowns and five interceptions. Iamaleava has a lot of talent with a strong arm, passing ability, and is a fast, athletic, and tough runner.

11/4/25: Manning struggled with inaccuracy in the road loss to Ohio State. He completed 17-of-30 passes for 170 yards with a touchdown and an interception. In 2025, Manning has completed 63 percent of his passes for 2,123 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has six rushing touchdowns.

Manning has a great skill set with size, arm strength, and running ability. Obviously, his family heritage and pedigree has led to him having advanced fundamentals and mechanics. Manning flashed his talent in relief work for Quinn Ewers in 2024. Manning completed 68 percent of his passes for 939 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. He also had two rushing touchdowns. Manning could take off as a junior, with Ewers off to the NFL.

11/4/25: Nussmeier has completed 66 percent of his passes for 1,806 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. He did a good job of leading his team from a halftime deficit to a tough road win.

Nussmeier spent a few seasons as the backup to Jayden Daniels and turned himself into a legit prospect for the NFL in 2024. Nussmeier completed 64 percent of his passes for 4,403 yards with 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. There is no doubt that Nussmeier has the arm talent to be a pro starter, as he has a powerful arm that has no issue going vertically downfield. Nussmeier is getting good pro preparation from Brian Kelly, and Nussmeier looks like an early-round prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft.

11/4/25: Allar completed 65 percent of his passes for 1,100 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He suffered a season-ending leg injury against Northwestern on October 11th.

In 2024, Allar has completed 67 percent of his passes for 3,327 yards with 24 touchdowns passing, six rushing scores, and eight interceptions. Allar flashed ability, but he needs development with his footwork and field vision for the NFL. He was wise to return to college next season to improve before going to the NFL. Allar completed 60 percent of his passes in 2023 for 2,631 yards, 25 touchdowns and two interceptions. There is no doubt that Allar has a powerful arm and the potential to be a dangerous pocket passer.

<> 11/4/25: In 2025, Leavitt has completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,628 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.

In 2024, Leavitt did a good job of managing the game and using the playmakers at his disposal. He completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,885 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. Leavitt is not big, but he was an efficient passer in his debut season as a starter.

7/1/24: In 2025, Beck has completed 73 percent of his passes for 1,947 yards with 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Beck has played better with Miami, showing off his power arm and ability to shred a secondary from a clean pocket. Beck will still have some struggles when under pressure.

In 2024, Beck completed 65 percent of his passes for 3,485 yards with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with Georgia. Beck injured his elbow late in the season, knocking him out of the college football playoff games. Beck almost pulled off an amazing comeback against Alabama, but Beck’s three interceptions, one fumble, and inaccuracy led to Georgia losing to the Crimson Tide. Beck was unimpressive with three interception games against Texas and Florida. He had an interception and multiple fumbles in a loss to Ole Miss. Beck decided to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, but after seeing he was a potential mid-round pick, he changed his mind and transferred to Miami.

After a bit of a slow start to 2023, Beck heated up for Georgia, showing off a powerful arm and an ability to push the ball downfield. In 2023, Beck completed 72 percent of his passes for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He has upside with serious arm talent and could become a legit quarterback prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft.

<> 11/4/25: Johnson has completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,991 yards with 16 touchdowns passing, four interceptions, and two touchdowns rushing. In 2024, Johnson completed 58 percent of his passes for 2,712 yards with 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Johnson has an intriguing skill set with arm talent, athleticism, and running ability.

<> 11/4/25: Maiava has played well overall for the Trojans in 2025. He has completed 65 percent of his passes for 2,315 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. Maiava has a quality arm and the potential to develop into a dangerous pocket passer. In the final four games of the 2024 season, Maiava was solid for USC. In 2023, Maiava had a strong debut for UNLV, completing 64 percent of his passes for 3,085 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

<> 11/4/25: Mensah has played well in his debut with Duke. He has completed 70 percent of his passes for 2,572 yards with 21 touchdowns and two interceptions. He has a quality skill set with some arm talent and mobility. In 2024, Mensah had a good season as the starting quarterback for Tulane, and that led to him getting big dollars in the transfer portal.

<> 11/4/25: Moss has completed 65 percent of his passes for 1,929 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Some team evaluators liked some of Moss’s 2024 tape while playing with USC. Moss completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,555 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions. After the season, Moss transferred to Louisville.

<> 11/4/25: Holstein completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,058 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions.

In 2024, Holstein completed 62 percent of his passes for 215 yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He showed some real arm talent and an ability to push the ball downfield.

11/4/25: In 2025, Klubnik has completed 67 percent of his passes for 1,915 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions.

In 2024, Klubnik completed 63 percent of his passes for 3,639 yards with 36 touchdowns and six interceptions. He is a good college quarterback, but has some limitations for the NFL. His lack of arm strength, size, and not being an elite runner could cause some evaluators to project him to day two. They may not see a first-round skill set with Klubnik. Klubnik flashed some ability in 2023, completing 64 percent of his passes for 2,844 yards, 19 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Klubnik needs to improve his pocket passing in 2024.

<> 11/4/25: Morton has completed 68 percent of his passes for 1,750 yards with 15 touchdowns and four interceptions.

In 2024, Morton played well for the Red Raiders, completing 63 percent of his passes for 3,335 yards with 27 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

<> 11/4/25: Sorsby has completed 61 percent of his passes for 2,064 yards with 21 touchdowns and two interceptions.

In 2024, Sorsby completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,813 yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Sorsby has some talent, and he earned a spot on NFL team’s preseason watch list.

11/4/25: Arnold has completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,278 yards with six touchdowns passing, two interceptions, and five touchdowns rushing.

In 2024 at Oklahoma, Arnold completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,421 yards with 12 touchdowns and three interceptions. Arnold was hurt by a group of talented Sooner receivers, who all went down with injuries. Auburn has a talented receiving room with some future early-round picks, so it will be interesting to see how Arnold performs with the Tigers.

11/4/25: Daniels has completed 67 percent of his passes for 1,991 yards with 20 touchdowns, three interceptions, and one touchdown rushing.

Daniels completed 57 percent of his passes for 2,454 yards with 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Daniels completed 75 percent of his passes in 2023 for 705 yards, five touchdowns and an interception. He only played in three games during 2023 before going out with a back injury. In 2022, Daniels completed 66 percent for 2,014 yards, 18 touchdowns passing and four interceptions. He also notched seven rushing scores that season. Sources with team sources said Daniels showed the potential to be a possible third-day pick if he had entered the 2025 NFL Draft.

11/4/25: Drones has completed 60 percent of his passes for 1,516 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Drones saw his first extensive playing time in 2023. He completed 58 percent of his passes for 2,084 yards with 17 touchdowns and three interceptions. In 2024, he completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,562 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. Drones is the cousin of Cam Ward.

11/4/25: In 2025, Fifita has completed 66 percent of his passes for 1,829 yards with 17 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Fifita completed 61 percent of his passes for 2,958 yards with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Fifita is a short quarterback, but he led a dangerous Arizona offense in 2023. In 2023, the first-season starter completed 72 percent of his passes for 2,869 yards, 25 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

11/4/25: Johnson has completed 64 percent of his passes for 378 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions in 2025. To start the 2024 season, Johnson completed 12-of-19 passes for 71 yards and an interception against Minnesota. In the second half, Johnson suffered a broken leg that ended his season.

In 2023 at Texas A&M, Johnson completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,452 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions. He had been a backup for the Aggies, but he played well in relief duty, leading them to wins over Auburn and Arkansas. After the 2023 season, Johnson transferred to North Carolina. Johnson started out his career at LSU before landing with Texas A&M. He dealt with injuries in 2022 and only saw 71 attempts on the season because of a broken right hand. In 2021, he completed 60.3 percent of his passes for 2,815 yards, 27 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Johnson has good size and a capable arm, but he needs to produce a big season with the Tar Heels. He is the son of Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl-winning quarterback Brad Johnson.

11/4/25: Van Dyke has yet to play this year.

In 2024 at Wisconsin, Van Dyke completed 63 percent of his passes for 422 yards with a touchdown. Van Dyke was carted off the field with a non-contact knee injury against Alabama and went out for the year. After the season, he transferred to SMU.

After the 2023 season, Van Dyke decided to enter the transfer portal and landed at Wisconsin. Van Dyke completed 66 percent of his passes for Miami in 2023 for 2,703 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He was superb in Miami’s win over Texas A&M in Week 2, but later had a stretch of 11 interceptions over five games, which led to him getting benched. An injury forced Van Dyke back on the field. He was wise to transfer to Wisconsin to try to produce a better season before moving on to the NFL.

Van Dyke broke out in 2021, completing 62.3 percent of his passes for 2,931 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions. In 2022, his play was not as strong, and he dealt with injuries. Van Dyke completed 63.2 percent of his passes in 2022 for 1,844 yards, 10 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Van Dyke has a quality arm with size and pocket ability, but he is not a dual-threat runner. Van Dyke is similar to former Gators quarterback Kyle Trask.
