Blake Corum, RB, Michigan
Height: 5-8. Weight: 205.
40 Time: 4.53.
Projected Round (2024): 2-3.

4/22/24: Corum averaged 4.8 yards per carry in 2023, totaling 1,245 yards and 27 touchdowns. He had 16 receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown as well. Corum is a physical runner with quickness, strength, elusiveness, and good feel. He has starter-level ability for the NFL.

8/19/23: Corum was a tough back and point producer for the Wolverines in 2022. As a downhill runner, he shows good strength to break tackles alongside contact balance and an ability to pick up yards after a hit. In 2022, Corum averaged 5.9 yards per carry for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also recorded five receptions for 73 yards.

Corum went out with a meniscus tear late in the 2022 season that led him to miss the end of the year and return to Michigan. Some NFL sources told WalterFootball.com that they thought Corum could have gone on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft if he hadn’t gotten hurt.

4/22/24: Brooks was a tough runner for the Longhorns in 2023, averaging 6.1 yards per carry for 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also notched 25 receptions for 286 yards and one touchdown. Brooks is a strong back who has quickness and some athleticism. He definitely showed next-level ability as Texas’ replacement for Bijan Robinson.

4/22/24: Benson is a big back who is a strong downhill runner with the strength to end his rushes well. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry in 2023 for 905 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also had 20 catches for 227 yards and a touchdown. In 2022, Benson became the starting running back and had a quality debut, averaging 6.4 yards per carry for 990 yards and nine touchdowns. He notched 13 receptions for 144 yards as well. Benson gave his draft stock a boost with a fast 40 time at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

4/22/24: The Vanderbilt transfer played very well for the Wildcats in 2023 and was a physical back who ran over many SEC defenders. On the year, he averaged 5.7 yards per carry for 1,129 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also caught 33 receptions for 323 yards and seven scores. Davis could be a sleeper for the 2024 NFL Draft who is a nice value pick. A number of team sources said they are high on Davis and think he could be an NFL starter.

4/22/24: Lloyd has a compact build and is a physical downhill runner. He shows the strength to run through tackles and can pound defenses between the tackles. Lloyd averaged 7.1 yards per carry in 2023 for 820 yards and nine touchdowns. He also notched 13 receptions for 232 yards. Lloyd had a solid week of practice at the Senior Bowl and could be a solid No. 2 back in the NFL.

Jaylen Wright, RB, Tennessee
Height: 5-11. Weight: 210.
Projected 40 Time: 4.52.
Projected Round (2024): 3-4.

4/22/24: Wright is put together well, but he showed some quickness in 2023 while averaging 7.4 yards per carry for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns on only 137 carries. He caught 22 passes for 141 yards as well.

Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin

4/22/24: Allen is a huge power back who was a steady runner over the past three years. His best season was his freshman debut, when he averaged 6.8 yards per carry for 1,268 yards and 12 touchdowns. In 2022, he ran for 1,242 yards while averaging 5.4 yards. Last season, Allen averaged 5.4 yards again while totaling 984 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also showed more receiving ability in 2023 with 28 receptions for 131 yards.

Audric Estime*, RB, Notre Dame
Height: 5-11. Weight: 227.
40 Time: 4.71.
Projected Round (2024): 3-4.

4/22/24: Estime was superb in 2023 for the Fighting Irish, averaging 6.4 yards per carry for 1,341 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also had 17 receptions for 142 yards. After serving as a backup in 2021, Estime took over as the feature back in 2022, averaging 5.9 yards per carry on his way to 920 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also made nine receptions for 135 yards that season. Estime is a power downhill runner who picks up yards after contact and has the quickness to hit the hole. At the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, Estime put up a shockingly slow 40 time, but his time at the Notre Dame pro day was said to be in the 4.5s.

4/22/24: Shipley was an efficient runner for Clemson over the past three seasons, and he could have had a bigger college career if the team’s passing offense hadn’t been very inconsistent since Trevor Lawrence left. In 2023, Shipley averaged 5.0 yards per carry for 827 yards and five touchdowns. Over 2022, he averaged 5.6 yards per carry for 1,182 yards and 15 touchdowns. Shipley also was a good receiver out of the backfield. In 2023, he had 31 receptions for 244 yards and two scores. That was after making 38 catches for 242 yards during 2022.

Shipley may not have the size and strength to be a three-down starter in the NFL, but he could be a good runner as part of a dual backfield while serving as the receiving threat.

4/22/24: Guerendo is an under-the-radar back who could be a nice mid-round value pick from the 2024 NFL Draft. While Guerendo is big, he showed shocking speed at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. In 2023, he averaged 6.1 yards per carry for 810 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also caught 22 passes for 234 yards. Guerendo could be a sleeper steal in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Jawhar Jordan*, RB, Louisville

4/22/24: In 2023, Jordan averaged 6.2 yards per carry for 1,128 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also turned 21 receptions into 246 yards and a touchdown. Some pro evaluators said they felt Jordan could be a better version of impressive Ravens rookie running back Keaton Mitchell.

Jordan is a quick back who can explode to the second level and rip off yards in chunks. While he is small, Jordan is slippery runner with the speed to hurt defenses. At his size, he probably won’t be able to hold up as a three-down starter in the NFL, but Jordan could be a dangerous No. 2 back and change of pace to go with a bigger, physical starting runner. Jordan could be a sleeper for the 2024 NFL Draft and a nice value as a mid-round pick.

At the next level, Tracy could compete to be a backup runner and special teams contributor. He helped himself with a fast time at the combine.

In 2023, he ran for 311 yards and three scores while averaging 4.4 yards per carry. His best season came the year before with an average of 6.8 yards per carry for 771 yards and eight touchdowns. Over the past three seasons, he caught 28, 36 and 33 passes, respectively. He totaled 12 touchdowns through the air as well. Wiley projects as a backup running back who can rotate into the game for passing sets.

He also caught 22 passes for 191 yards in 2023. Schrader played four seasons, 2018-2021, with Truman State. He had a slow 40 time at the combine.

In his final season, Shirden improved from five catches over the previous two years to 20 receptions for 123 yards and a score. He averaged 6.7 yards per carry for 1,478 yards with 10 touchdowns. Shirden is undersized for the NFL, but he has some natural running ability and is fast. He could be an interesting and dangerous No. 2 rotational back.

He also had 25 catches for 267 yards and a touchdown. That just about matched his receiving production in 2021, while he improved in the ground game. Jones could be in store for a big 2023 season with defenses focused on Caleb Williams.

4/22/24: Holani turned 134 carries in 2023 into 748 yards – a 5.6-yard average – and seven touchdowns. He also caught 17 passes for 199 yards. Holani missed almost two months of games before returning in late October.

8/19/23: Holani is returning for a fifth season in 2023 and coming off his best year for the Broncos. In 2022, Holani averaged 5.2 yards per carry for 1,157 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had 24 receptions for 151 yards and three scores. It was his best season since 2019. Staying healthy and consistent will be important for Holani to rise for the 2024 NFL Draft.
