2011 Pro Day Results: March 14, 2011

LSU

Pep Levingston, DE/DT, LSU
Height: 6-4. Weight: 286.
Projected 40 Time: 5.07.
Combine 40 Time: 5.02.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.89.
Benchx225: 20. Vertical: 31. Arm: 33.
Projected Round (2011): 6-FA.

Drake Nevis, DT, LSU Scouting Report
Height: 6-1. Weight: 298.
Projected 40 Time: 4.92.
Combine 40 Time: 4.97.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.92.
Benchx225: 31. Vertical: 30.5. Arm: 31 1/2.
Projected Round (2011): 2-3.

3/15/11: Drake Nevis measured in four pounds heavier at his Pro Day than he did at the Combine, but was still able to drop his 40 time by 0.05.

Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU Scouting Report
Height: 6-0. Weight: 218.
Projected 40 Time: 4.44.
Combine 40 Time: 4.32.
Pro Day 40 Time: DNP.
Benchx225: 15. Vertical: 38. Arm: 32.
Projected Round (2011): Top 4 Pick.

3/15/11: Patrick Peterson didn’t run the 40 or anything at his Pro Day, but he looked great in the drills once again. He scheduled a private workout with the Denver Broncos. At this point, it’ll be a major upset if Peterson falls out of the top four picks.

Stevan Ridley, RB, LSU
Height: 5-11. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.60.
Combine 40 Time: 4.67.

Benchx225: 21. Vertical: 36. Broad: 9-10.
Projected Round (2011): 4-6.

3/15/11: Steven Ridley put on five pounds since the Combine. The draft advisory committee told him he’d be drafted in Rounds 2-3, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

Kelvin Sheppard, ILB, LSU
Height: 6-2. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Combine 40 Time: DNP.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.70.

Projected Round (2011): 3-4.

3/15/11: Kelvin Sheppard had a pretty mediocre 40 time at LSU’s Pro Day. He stood on his other numbers.
