This spread is too small. I would have made this closer to -20. The Thunder are the best team in the Western Conference, while Memphis doesn’t belong in the playoffs. The Grizzlies couldn’t miss from three versus Dallas two nights ago, but there will be regression to the mean here against a far superior team. The Grizzlies play poor defense and are horribly coached, so I don’t see how they can contend with Oklahoma City.

Everyone expects the Lakers to make a run at the NBA Finals this year. It could happen, but the team is still building chemistry in the wake of the Luka Doncic trade. The Lakers’ defense and rebounding is shaky as well. I believe the Timberwolves are the better team, so I like getting points with them.

The Heat struggled initially without Jimmy Butler, but they’re 9-4 in their previous 13 contests. They have the far superior coach and defense, so they should be able to figure out how to beat the defensively inept Hawks.

I am shocked by this line. I thought the Mavericks would be favored like the Heat are in Atlanta. Dallas would not be in this situation if Anthony Davis had been healthy the entire time, which he is now. The Mavericks have the better defense, while the Grizzlies have no head coach because they fired theirs. They can’t even inbound the ball reliably. Also, Ja Morant is a bit banged up, so this +5.5 number is unreal.
Player Prop: Klay Thompson struggled for several weeks because of an illness and a foot injury.
