Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em

Fantasy Football: Start Em, Sit Em: Week 4

Rather than quickly listing start em and sit em players on my Week 4 NFL Picks page, I thought I'd devote a new page for this. Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Miami Dolphins (3-0) at Cincinnati Bengals (1-2)

Start Em:
  • Obvious Starts:
MIA: WR Tyreek Hill, WR Jaylen Waddle, TE Mike Gesicki.
CIN: QB Joe Burrow, RB Joe Mixon, WR Ja'Marr Chase.

    Sit Em:
  • Dolphins Running Backs
Chase Edmonds is fine in PPR. Otherwise, I'd avoid this mess.

  • Obvious Starts:
MIN: RB Dalvin Cook, WR Justin Jefferson.
    NO: RB Mark Ingram.

    Sit Em:
  • Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings
Adam Thielen could always catch a touchdown, but he is a shell of his former self.

Tennessee Titans (1-2) at Indianapolis Colts (1-1-1)

    Start Em:

    TEN: RB Derrick Henry.
IND: RB Jonathan Taylor, WR Michael Pittman Jr.

    Sit Em:
  • Robert Woods, WR, Titans
Robert Woods is coming off a torn ACL, so he's bound to have some leg injuries.

Chicago Bears (2-1) at New York Giants (2-0*)

    Start Em:
  • Khalil Herbert, RB, Bears
Khalil Herbert has proven that he can be started if David Montgomery is out.

  • Richie James, WR, Giants
The Giants have injuries at receiver, so Richie James will produce again.

  • Obvious Starts:
    CHI: Bears Defense.
NYG: RB Saquon Barkley, Giants Defense.

    Sit Em:
  • Bears Passing Offense
Chicago is limiting Justin Fields' attempts behind a miserable offensive line.

DET: RB Jamaal Williams, TE T.J. Hockenson.

    Sit Em:
  • D.J. Chark, WR, Lions

New York Jets (1-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2)

    Start Em:
  • Garrett Wilson, WR, Jets

  • Obvious Starts:
    NYJ: None.
PIT: RB Najee Harris, WR Diontae Johnson, TE Pat Freiermuth. Sit Em:
  • Jets Running Backs
I'd avoid this time share for now, maybe except for Breece Hall in PPR.

    Sit Em:
  • Eagles Running Backs

Washington Redskins (1-2) at Dallas Cowboys (1-1*)

    Start Em:
  • Curtis Samuel, WR, Redskins
Curtis Samuel seemed to be Carson Wentz's favorite weapon.

  • Logan Thomas, TE, Redskins
Logan Thomas has a nice matchup against the Cowboys, who are weak to tight ends.

  • Obvious Starts:
    WAS: WR Terry McLaurin.
DAL: WR CeeDee Lamb, TE Dalton Schultz (if he plays).

    Sit Em:
  • Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys

    NE: None.
GB: RB Aaron Jones, RB A.J. Dillon, Packers Defense.

    Sit Em:
  • Nelson Agholor and DeVante Parker, WRs, Patriots
I wouldn't chase what Nelson Agholor and DeVante Parker did in Weeks 2 and 3, respectively.

Kansas City Chiefs (2-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)

    Start Em:

JuJu Smith-Schuster has seemingly emerged as Patrick Mahomes' favorite wide receiver.

  • Obvious Starts:
KC: QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce.
TB: RB Leonard Fournette, WR Mike Evans.

    Sit Em:
  • Chiefs Running Backs

Allen Robinson could rebound after dropping two touchdowns.

  • Cam Akers, RB, Rams
Cam Akers seems to be out of Sean McVay's dog house.

Brandon Aiyuk has a better outlook with Jimmy Garoppolo playing.

  • Obvious Starts:
LAR: QB Matthew Stafford, WR Cooper Kupp.
SF: WR Deebo Samuel, 49ers Defense.

    Sit Em:
  • Darrell Henderson, RB, Rams
