2017 East-West Shrine Game: Wednesday’s East Team Interviews

Here is a recap of the player interviews that were conducted on the field after Wednesday’s practice by the East team. Typically, these interviews with area scouts are to set up longer, formal interviews for a night during the week. While teams say they “talk” to every player, teams do not take the time to conduct formal interviews with every draft prospect, so this can be a clue as to which players are on their radar.
Detroit Lions – West Virginia guard Adam Pankey
Seattle Seahawks – Jackson State linebacker Javancy Jones and Laval tight end Antony Auclair
Los Angeles Rams – Vanderbilt offensive tackle William Holden, Wake Forest cornerback Brad Watson, Michigan safety Dymonte Thomas, and Florida defensive tackle Joey Ivie
Los Angeles Chargers – Appalachian State running back Marcus Cox and Illinois defensive tackle Chunky Clements
Jacksonville Jaguars – Jackson State linebacker Javancy Jones
Pittsburgh Steelers – Villanova linebacker Austin Calitro
Atlanta Falcons – Villanova linebacker Austin Calitro
Carolina Panthers – Laval tight end Antony Auclair
Chicago Bears – Middle Tennessee running back I’Tavius Mathers
Buffalo Bills – Louisiana Tech safety Xavier Woods
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – North Carolina State cornerback Jack Tocho and Pennsylvania quarterback Alek Torgersen
Washington Redskins – Florida defensive tackle Joey Ivie
