2011 NFL Draft E-mails – Crackhead Mail

  • From GatorDawg:

where is cam newton for a bold pick isearched all 6 rounds he was not a pick so your teling me hes a undrafted free sgent?

–> Yes. Despite all the speculation that Cam Newton will go first overall, I believe he’ll be an undrafted free agent. I don’t even know why I have him at No. 1 in my mock.

  • From Mike:

I AM A HUGE iOWA hAWKEYE FAN!!! GUD LUKE 2 ALL UV U HAWKS ENTERING TH DRAFT!:) I BACK U UP 100%!! I LUV U HAWKEYE NATION!!!=)=):)lol

–> I better not say anything bad about any Iowa players, or I may get some death threats from this guy.

  • From R Man:

Why would weak teams draft a quarterback. If you put Peyton Manning on the Bills or Redskins, he might win one more game. Peyton is good because the colts have surrounded him with good players. Build a team first and then draft a good quarterback.

–> Wow, it’s scary if other people have the same mindset. If you take Peyton Manning off the Colts, they go 3-13 or worse. Look at the Saints before Drew Brees got there. If you put Manning or Brees on the Panthers, they would have won at least nine games. There’s absolutely no doubt about that.

  • From Ash:

Don’t know how you expect Amukamara to get past the Texans if he’s even available at 11 (doubtful). Are you by chance a Lions fan that has been hoping for a top CB to slip ever since your defence’s saviour Suh said he wants secondary recruits in the draft? Jimmy Smith might be a good pick but I think they’ll go OT in the first and CB in the second or third.

–> Oh yeah, I’m a Lions fan who lives in Philadelphia. That makes a lot of sense.

  • From G:

john elway might wanna strap a helmet on himself cause he gonna look like a joke just like the broncos do muhahaha

    –> If you say so.

  • From 2bits:

I’m 99% sure your wrong about the Broncos pick! Broncos path to a new Orange Crush goes like this: Broncos trade down with Tennessee (8th pick) to receive their #1, #2, #3 and #6 pick (or #1, #2, #4, and #5) which is based on NFL system of valuing picks (#2 pick is worth 2600 points using that system). Then they will trade their own #36 pick down to grab a lower 2nd round pick and a 3rd rounder. Finally, they will trade Orton for a 3rd rounder. This will produce picks 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3 or 8 picks in the first 3 rounds. Combined with Bailey, Dumervil, and TJ that gives them an entirely new defense or Orange Crush.

–> Good thing this guy is only 99-percent sure about his Broncos strategy. This means he has 1-percent sanity remaining somewhere in his mind.
