Demond Claiborne, RB, Wake Forest 
Demond Claiborne had a fast 40 time at 4.37, but this was expected because of his tape and small size (5-10, 188). However, Claiborne is getting an up arrow because of his excellent work in the on-field drills.
Eli Heidenreich, RB, Navy Eli Heidenreich is another smaller running back (6-0, 198) who thrived in the drills. Heidenreich, who also notched a 35.5-inch vertical, was very smooth running routes in the on-field drills.
Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame Jeremiyah Love blazed a 4.36 40. He did awesome work in the on-field drills. There was a scary moment where he slipped on the sideline after a drill rep, but fortunately, he was OK. Love cemented his status as a top-10 selection, and he could be chosen in the top five.
Seth McGowan, RB, Kentucky Seth McGowan’s 40 may not stand out because his 4.49 paled in comparison to the 4.3s we saw, but McGowan is 223 pounds. He also had a 42.5-inch vertical and a 10-11 broad jump.
Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame 
Jadarian Price’s 4.49 40 time wasn’t anything to write home about, but he was the top performer in the on-field drills. Price may have worked himself into first-round conversation.
Raheim Sanders, RB, South Carolina Raheim Sanders was one of several running backs who ran a 4.4 at the combine, but he was one of the heavier ones to do so at 217 pounds. He clocked in at 4.46 with a 1.55 10-yard split. He also recorded a 36.5-inch vertical.
Mike Washington Jr., RB, Arkansas Mike Washington Jr. recorded the fastest 40 time at the combine this year, blazing a 4.33 time. He broke down in tears following the run, and understandably so. He also notched 39 inches in the vertical jump. Washington already had a chance to be the third running back chosen in the 2026 NFL Draft, so there’s a better chance of that happening now.
