Kaleb Elarms-Orr, LB, TCU

Kaleb Elarms-Orr was one of the best testers of the linebackers at the combine this year, with the exception of Sonny Styles, of course. Elarms-Orr hit 40 inches in the vertical and 10-4 in the broad jump. He also raced a 4.47 40 with a 1.59 10-yard split.

Anthony Hill, LB, Texas

Anthony Hill is another linebacker who posted some terrific numbers at the combine. He logged a 4.51 40 with a 1.58 10-yard split, and he also notched 37 inches in the vertical and a 10-5 broad jump.

Kyle Louis, OLB, Pittsburgh

Kyle Louis’ measurements need to be asterisked because he’s much lighter than all of the linebackers, given that he’s 220 pounds. Still, he recorded a 4.53 40, a 39.5-inch vertical, and a 10-9 broad jump. More importantly, he was stellar in the on-field drills.

Arvell Reese, DE/OLB, Ohio State

If there’s one negative about Arvell Reese at the combine, it’s that David Bailey and Sonny Styles were so great that they closed the distance between Reese for the No. 2 overall pick. Still, Reese had a great showing with a 4.47 40 and a 1.58 10-yard split. He was also dynamic in the on-field drills.

Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech

Whether it was in the 40 or the on-field drills, Jacob Rodriguez was running extremely smoothly for a 230-pound linebacker. He posted a 4.57 40, a 38.5 inch-vertical, and a positional-best 6.90 3-cone time.

Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

Sonny Styles blew away the entire combine. He was the best-testing linebacker in combine history, and that’s not an exaggeration. He began his day with a 43.5-inch vertical and an 11-2 broad jump. He then ran a 4.46 40 with a 1.56 10-yard split. He capped off his combine with a masterful showing in the on-field drills. Oh, and if that’s not enough, he reportedly aced all of his team interviews. Styles had the perfect combine and is now considered a potential top-five draft pick.
