An NFL scout looked at my mock draft a month ago. He had seven words of feedback: “Get Shedeur out of your first round.” He also said he’d be surprised if Sanders went in the first round. I think he will, but it also seems like he will take an Aaron Rodgers- or Brady Quinn-type tumble. Hopefully he’s more Rodgers than Quinn, but speaking of Quinn, the Browns passed on Quinn to much criticism, but then traded up into the end of the opening round to select the Notre Dame prospect. Perhaps history will repeat itself 18 years later.
Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a first-round pick.

Also, if you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.
Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. My developer will be adding new features to paid subscribers as well, so look for that in the near future. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!
Pick change; previously Jaxson Dart, QB

The Giants may tank for Arch Manning, but they could still opt for a quarterback with this pick just in case they hit a home run with that prospect.
Jaxson Dart is instinctive and tough, but has some shaky pocket presence.
Pick change; previously Matthew Golden, WR

The Titans need to add weapons for their new quarterback to pair with Calvin Ridley.
Emeka Egbuka was a big-time producer with C.J. Stroud during the ’22 season.
Pick change; previously Matthew Golden, WR

The Jaguars have lacked a great interior presence on their defensive line since the Calais Campbell days.
Alfred Collins is a tough run defender who gets some pressure on quarterbacks.

The Raiders have no running game. Chip Kelly could go after one of his Ohio State running backs.
Quinshon Judkins is a tough runner who was productive for Ole Miss before transferring to Ohio State.

The Patriots drafted Drake Maye, so they’ll need to find some weapons for him, which they did not do in free agency.
Isaiah Bond has dangerous speed and huge upside.

D’Andre Swift had some nice games last year, but he’s certainly not the running back of the future.
Omarion Hampton is a big back who has shown decent receiving ability.

The Saints need a bookend tackle for Tallies Fuaga, who would be better served playing on the right side.
Emery Jones is a talented tackle with a basketball background. He has impressive athleticism to play left tackle in the NFL.
Pick change; previously Sai’vion Jones, DE

The Bears may be tired of Tyrique Stevenson’s antics, so here’s a potential replacement.
Benjamin Morrison has a ton of upside as a 6-foot cornerback. He did a good job of limiting Marvin Harrison Jr.

The Jets foolishly passed on Brock Bowers. They’ll have to use a major resource on the position if they want any productivity from it.
Elijah Arroyo recovered well off a torn ACL. He has great size, quickness and athleticism, and he’s a terrific route runner.

The 49ers lost Javon Hargrave and now have a big hole in the interior of their defensive line.
Shemar Turner had a down final season. He needs some improvement to his game.

The Cowboys need a permanent solution at linebacker to replace Eric Kendricks.
Demetrius Knight was highly productive at both Charlotte and then South Carolina.

The Colts seemingly have a million tight ends on their roster, but none of them are very good.
Mason Taylor is an athletic receiving tight end.

The Falcons need better players on the defensive front because they can’t get after the quarterback at all.
Jordan Burch has immense potential as an athletic player with a big frame, but hasn’t been consistent.

The Cardinals have had a weak defensive line since J.J. Watt and Chandler Jones left. They need some upgrades.
Jack Sawyer was extremely productive to conclude his college football career.

The Dolphins need some new cornerbacks with Jalen Ramsey aging out of the NFL.
Jahdae Barron is a very instinctive cornerback who improved his ball skills in his final year.
Pick change; previously Trey Amos, CB

Trey Hendrickson could be gone soon, so the Bengals will be looking to add an edge rusher at some point.
Sai’vion Jones is very athletic, but didn’t live up to it in college. He had a monster Senior Bowl.
Pick change; previously Xavier Watts, S

The Seahawks had one of the worst interior offensive lines in the NFL last year, and they didn’t do anything about that in free agency.
Donovan Jackson is a tough blocker with upside.

Sean Payton was no fan of Javonte Williams. Even though Williams is gone, Payton would want to find an upgrade anyway.
Treveyon Henderson has been an impressive runner and receiver out of the backfield.

As mentioned a couple of picks ago, the Seahawks had one of the weakest interior offensive lines in the NFL last year. Things got worse when Connor Williams retired.
Jonah Monheim can play every position on the offensive line, but looks to be best at center.

The Buccaneers have some major problems in their secondary, particularly at cornerback. They need to address this position early in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Azareye’h Thomas is a very tall cornerback who provided tight coverage on receivers all year.
Pick change; previously Jahdae Barron, CB

Josh Jacobs said that his team needs a No. 1 receiver, yet they haven’t addressed that position.
Elic Ayomanor is a tough receiver with good size.
Pick change; previously Azareye’h Thomas, CB

The Chargers signed Najee Harris, but given how much Jim Harbaugh likes to run the ball, I suspect he’ll draft a back in Rounds 2-4.
Cam Skattebo is a tough running back with plus receiving ability.

The Bills signed Joshua Palmer, but they still need one more receiver to add to the group.
Savion Williams is a huge receiver, measuring at 6-foot-5.

The Panthers had severe issues stopping the run and getting to the quarterback last year.
Joshua Farmer was solid in run support while also putting decent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Many quarterbacks hate interior pressure more than anything, so the Texans may want to upgrade this area to combat the lethal passing attacks in the AFC.
Nic Scourton had a breakout ’23 season with 10 sacks. He has a huge frame and possesses massive upside as a potential defensive end or five-technique.

The running game is very important for the Ravens, and Derrick Henry won’t be around forever.
Ollie Gordon is a big back, but showed functional receiving ability along with his impressive vision and contact balance.

The Lions are great because of their offensive line. They could stand to add a young guard to eventually take over for one of the veterans.
Caleb Rogers was one of the top performers in the agility drills at the combine.

The Redskins have a hole in their secondary. They need a new safety to pair with Quan Martin.
Xavier Watts is a dangerous ballhawk who made lots of plays for Notre Dame.
Pick change; previously Elic Ayomanor, WR

The Bills are weaker to the run than the pass, so they could stand to add a defensive tackle.
Darius Alexander was a solid player for Toledo who put decent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

The Chiefs signed Jaylon Moore to potentially be their new left tackle, but they could also address the other side.
Anthony Belton is a massive tackle, but has enough quickness and athleticism to remain on the edge.

The Eagles are rumored to be shopping Dallas Goedert, likely because they are fans of this tight end draft class.
Harold Fannin is a small tight end, but projects as someone who could be a productive player.
