A few days ago here in the Hot Press, we discussed how some other team evaluators said they do not feel Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey is worth a first-round pick. They stated a second-round pick would be more appropriate for Ramsey as a good starter, but a player who is on the decline and not the elite cover corner he used to be. The Rams have been shopping Ramsey, and sources with the team say the team is over Ramsey being in the locker room and want to be rid of him.

“Ramsey is a bad dude,” said a Rams source. “He was a really bad teammate this past year, and didn’t try once the losses started. He got a young defensive back coach fired, and it wasn’t the guy’s fault.”

The trade of two first-round picks for Ramsey paid off in the form of helping the Rams to win a Super Bowl. For years, Ramsey has been an outspoken player with a bold personality. Those issues led to a falling out with the Jacksonville Jaguars, which led to his trade to Los Angeles. Now, sources say they feel Ramsey has worn out his welcome with the Rams, which is why they are so aggressively trying to trade him.
