2019 NFL Free Agency: Star rating is out of five. Age listing as of Sept. 1, 2019.

  1. Matt Paradis, C, Broncos. Age: 29.
Signed with Panthers (3 years, $27 million)

Matt Paradis is an excellent center. He missed the final seven games of the year with a fractured fibula, but he hasn’t been out for any other contest in his career. Paradis turns 30 in October, but he should continue to play on a high level for several seasons.

  2. Mitch Morse, C, Chiefs. Age: 27.
    Signed with Bills

Mitch Morse is a very talented center, especially in pass protection. He’s also just 27 (in April), so he has a bright future ahead of him. The one issue is that he hasn’t stayed healthy; he’s missed 12 total games in the past two years. If it weren’t for his durability, he’d be rated as a four-star player.

  3. Jon Halapio, C, Giants. Age: 28.
    Re-signed with Giants (1 year)

Jon Halapio had a promising start to his 2018 campaign, but suffered a broken ankle in the early going that sidelined him for the year. Halapio looks like he’s going to be a solid starting center in the NFL over the next five years.

  4. Ryan Kalil, C, Panthers. Age: 34.
    Signed with Jets (1 year)

Ryan Kalil, a former perennial Pro Bowler, hasn’t been the same recently because of injuries. He said that 2018 was going to be his final season in the pros.

  5. B.J. Finney (RFA), C/G, Steelers. Age: 27.
    Tendered by Steelers (2nd round)

B.J. Finney hasn’t had a chance to start because he’s behind some talented offensive linemen in Pittsburgh. However, he’s looked very good when replacing one of the starters, so a team may want to give him a chance to be a starting center or guard.

  6. Matt Skura (RFA), C, Ravens. Age: 26.
Matt Skura is a quality pass protector. He could stand to improve his ability to run block, but he’s young and has plenty of time to develop.

  7. Stefen Wisniewski, C/G, Eagles. Age: 30.
Stefen Wisniewski has played well at both guard and center over his career, but took a step back last year.

  8. Jake Brendel (RFA), C, Dolphins. Age: 26.
  9. John Sullivan, C, Rams. Age: 34.
  10. Max Garcia, C, Broncos. Age: 27. — Signed with Cardinals
  11. Ryan Groy, C/G, Bills. Age: 28. — Signed with Saints
  12. Spencer Pulley, C, Giants. Age: 26. — Re-signed with Giants (3 years, $9.6 million)
  13. Trey Hopkins (RFA), C, Bengals. Age: 27. — Tendered by Bengals (2nd round)
  14. Tyler Shatley, C, Jaguars. Age: 28. — Re-signed with Jaguars
  15. Gino Gradkowski, C, Broncos. Age: 30.
  16. Brett Jones, C, Vikings. Age: 28. — Re-signed with Vikings (1 year)
  17. Joey Hunt (RFA), C, Seahawks. Age: 25.
  18. Wesley Johnson, C, 49ers. Age: 28.
  19. Nick Easton, C, Vikings. Age: 27. — Signed with Saints (4 years, $24 million)
  20. Zac Kerin, C, Redskins. Age: 28. — Re-signed with Redskins
  21. Marcus Martin, C/G, Cowboys. Age: 25.
  22. Hroniss Grasu, C, Dolphins. Age: 28.
  23. Brian Schwenke, C, Patriots. Age: 28. — Re-signed with Patriots (1 year)
