2010 NFL Draft E-mails – Todd McShay Bashing Volume 3

Todd McShay has Clausen going to Buffalo in his latest 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Maybe McShay has finally forgiven Clausen for murdering his mother and messing up his tan.

–> Doubtful. Sun Tan Man is just going with the consensus. I wonder how a No. 36 overall prospect and someone “who could fall into the second round” suddenly appears at No. 9 in his mock.

McShay said on SportsCenter that Jimmy Clausen may not be worth it to the Browns at No. 7 if he falls to them. Since when has a potential franchise quarterback not been worth a first-round pick to an abysmal franchise with no decent quarterbacks on its roster?! He gets dumber with each tanning salon visit!

–> It’s funny that Clausen isn’t worth going No. 7 to the Browns, but he’s worth being drafted No. 9 by the Bills. You can’t beat that sort of logic.

If you’re not sold on Jimmy Clausen going in the top 10, then why would you put him in the top 10 of your 2010 NFL Mock Draft? Oh yeah, cause people are starting to put him there and McShay needs to join the party.

Todd McShay’s new mock has Bradford No. 1 to St Louis and Jimmy Clausen going No.9 to the Bills though he doesn’t seem too happy about it. In fact I doubt he actually does the scouting; I believe the Football Outsiders does the work and he’s just the pretty boy front man. I mean, do you really believe he has the time to look at tape when he spends all of his time at the salon?

–> Well, I wouldn’t say he spends all of his time at the salon. When it’s nice out, I’m sure he goes down to the beach.
