This page lists all the 2026 Trades for the Philadelphia Eagles. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the trades. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the trades, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL trades here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

June 2026 – Trades
Patriots acquire WR A.J. Brown from Eagles for 2028 1st-round pick, 2027 5th-round pick
We all knew the Patriots were going to trade for A.J. Brown because that’s what New England’s top reporter told us before she was fired. We also knew the deal would occur on June 1 because of salary cap restrictions. What we didn’t know were the exact terms, especially after it was reported that the Patriots weren’t going to relinquish a 2027 first-round pick. As it turns out, Philadelphia will be getting a 2028 first-round selection, as well as a fifth-round choice in 2027 to make up the difference.
This is a great trade for the Patriots, especially because they didn’t have to give up a precious first-round pick in the loaded 2027 draft class. They eventually have to relinquish an opening-round selection, but Brown is worth it. He’s an elite receiver who will provide Drake Maye with the No. 1 target he’s lacked thus far in his career. Brown has never caught balls from a great passer, so Maye should be able to get the most out of Brown, especially given the improved pass protection the Patriots are expected to have this year.
As for the Eagles, Brown had worn out his welcome with the team. He and Jalen Hurts were at odds, and the Eagles will certainly function better with a happier locker room. The Eagles also added countless receivers this offseason, including first-round pick Makai Lemon, so they’ve already been preparing themselves for life without their No. 1 receiver. It’s disappointing that Philadelphia wasn’t able to obtain a first-round pick in the loaded 2027 class – go here for my 2027 NFL Mock Draft – so they will be punished for that as far as their trade grade is concerned.

April 2026 – Trades
Eagles acquire DE Jonathan Greenard from Vikings for 2026 3rd-round pick, 2027 3rd-round pick
The Eagles lost Jaelan Phillips this offseason, so they wanted to address the edge rush. The problem is that after the top three edge prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, there was nothing exciting, and the Eagles weren’t going to get a sure Pro Bowler at No. 20. Thus, they were a likely candidate to trade for Jonathan Greenard.
Greenard is an explosive edge rusher who will be a nice replacement for Phillips. The only potential downside is that he turns 29 in May, so the Eagles will only have him for one year in his 20s. Greenard should still have a few great seasons for the Eagles, and I’ll be shocked if Philadelphia ends up regretting this trade.
As for the Vikings, they were bound to trade Greenard. I imagine Vikings fans wanted a second-round pick for him, but a third in next year’s loaded class is fine. This is still a disappointment for the Vikings, who will take a big hit to their defense and likely won’t be nearly as competitive as the other three teams in their division.

Eagles acquire WR Dontayvion Wicks from Packers for 2026 5th-round pick, 2027 6th-round pick
The Eagles added two receivers in free agency in anticipation of the A.J. Brown trade, but they weren’t done. They added a third wideout to the mix, acquiring Dontayvion Wicks from the Packers for two late-round picks.
Wicks, a deep threat, has had a few big games in his young career. He’s been very inconsistent, but he’s been stuck behind several players on the depth chart. He’ll have more opportunities in Philadelphia because the Eagles have just one proven receiver on the roster. This compensation seems about right, so I like this trade for the Eagles.
The Packers, meanwhile, aren’t as top-heavy as the Eagles were at receiver last year, but they were deeper at the position. Wicks wasn’t seeing much playing time, so it makes sense to trade him for two draft choices.

March 2026 – Trades
Eagles acquire QB Andy Dalton from Panthers for 7th-round pick
This may seem like a boring trade on the surface, but I think it’s quite interesting. It doesn’t have all that much to do with Andy Dalton, which may seem odd to say because he’s the only player who was dealt between the Eagles and Panthers.
As soon as I saw this trade, I wondered if the Eagles envisioned themselves trading Tanner McKee. The young quarterback, known as the “Irish Assassin,” has tons of potential and has looked good in most of his brief action in the NFL. There was some speculation that the Eagles would trade him to a team like the Jets, and now that seems more likely because Dalton can serve as Jalen Hurts’ new backup if a deal occurs. Dalton is a clear downgrade from McKee at this juncture, so there doesn’t seem to be another reason as to why Philadelphia would acquire him.
As for the Panthers, they won this trade. That wouldn’t have been the case two years ago, but Dalton is completely washed up now. He’s not worth any sort of draft capital, so Carolina did well to get anything for him.

Falcons acquire S Sydney Brown from Eagles for 4th- and 6th-round pick swaps
There have been four trades in the NFL this week. The major move was made Tuesday when the Broncos acquired Jaylen Waddle, and we’ve had two minor moves for backup since then.
Sydney Brown has been a backup in his 3-year pro career. He started three games last year, but was a reserve otherwise. He’s never shown the capability of being a starter, so it’s unclear what the Falcons see in him. Of course, the Falcons are set at safety at the moment, so why trade down in two rounds to acquire a backup? This isn’t a bad trade by any means, as moving down eight spots in Round 4 is not a deal-breaker. Still, it’s confusing as to why they’d do so for Brown.
The Eagles won this trade. Brown didn’t play very much, so to move up in two rounds, including eight spots in Round 4, is a nice move when all Philadelphia had to do was surrender a backup safety.
