2025 Fantasy Football Rankings – Running Backs

Last Updated: July 30

Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-40 | 41-75 |

Other Positions: QB | RB | WR | TE
1. Saquon Barkley, RB, Eagles. Bye: 9.

Saquon Barkley had an amazing initial season in Philadelphia, nearly breaking the all-time single-season rushing record.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,800 rushing yards. 30 catches. 240 receiving yards. 16 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 300.

2. Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons. Bye: 5.

Bijan Robinson was excellent after being separated from Arthur Smith. He could have an even better third season.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,530 rushing yards. 64 catches. 480 receiving yards. 16 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 297.

3. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Lions. Bye: 8.

Jahmyr Gibbs has been splitting out wide more often in mini-camp. This is not a promising development for Gibbs in Johnny Morton’s new stint as Detroit’s offensive coordinator. Everyone is drafting Gibbs in the No. 5-7 range as if he’s just going to repeat what he did with Ben Johnson and an elite offensive line, when neither is present in Detroit anymore.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,270 rushing yards. 60 catches. 530 receiving yards. 12 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 252.

4. Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers. Bye: 9.

Bucky Irving replaced Rachaad White as the starting running back. He was terrific.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,360 rushing yards. 43 catches. 350 receiving yards. 12 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 243.

5. Derrick Henry, RB, Ravens. Bye: 7.

Derrick Henry rushed for nearly 2,000 yards and tied for the league lead in rushing touchdowns. Henry is now 31, however, so he may not last much longer.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,450 rushing yards. 18 catches. 130 receiving yards. 14 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 242.

6. Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers. Bye: 14.

The 49ers told us that Christian McCaffrey was questionable for Week 1 with a calf injury. Yet, he played just four games all year because of an Achilles. McCaffrey could bounce back, but he’s also on the older side (29), so there’s a chance he may never be the same again.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,010 rushing yards. 66 catches. 560 receiving yards. 14 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 241.

7. Josh Jacobs, RB, Packers. Bye: 5.

Josh Jacobs had a great first season with the Packers. He should continue to post terrific numbers.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,250 rushing yards. 36 catches. 250 receiving yards. 15 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 240.

8. Chase Brown, RB, Bengals. Bye: 10.

Chase Brown has electric down the stretch when he took over for the injured Zack Moss. The job will be entirely his in 2025.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,120 rushing yards. 63 catches. 430 receiving yards. 12 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 227.

9. De'Von Achane, RB, Dolphins. Bye: 12.

Devon Achane was one of the most electric running backs in the NFL last year. He shocked everyone by staying healthy. However, his offensive line didn’t open up quality running lanes for him.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 940 rushing yards. 76 catches. 610 receiving yards. 11 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 221.

10. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders. Bye: 8.

Ashton Jeanty is the consensus No. 1 rookie. It’ll be a huge upset if he’s not the Raiders’ RB1 to begin the year. He has no competition to deal with, so Jeanty will get every opportunity.

Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 1,330 rushing yards. 25 catches. 200 receiving yards. 11 total TDs.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 219.
