2026 Fantasy Football Rankings - Running Backs
Last Updated: August 19
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-40 | 41-75 |
Other Positions: QB | RB | WR | TE
Travis Etienne, RB, Saints. Bye: 8.
Travis Etienne lost his job to Tank Bigsby in 2024, but rebounded with an amazing 2025 campaign. He's now with the Saints, and he'll try to buck a trend of running backs struggling after parting ways with Liam Coen.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 950 rushing yards. 31 catches. 230 receiving yards. 10 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 178.
Blake Corum, RB, Rams. Bye: 11.
Sean McVay told the media that Blake Corum will be a big part of the offense this year. According to the coach speak index, McVay is much more truthful than not, and Corum's talent is rather apparent anyway.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 880 rushing yards. 10 catches. 60 receiving yards. 9 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 178.
D'Andre Swift, RB, Bears. Bye: 10.
D'Andre Swift somehow hasn't missed any time over the past three years. He's been solid, but could always be replaced.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 970 rushing yards. 36 catches. 310 receiving yards. 8 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 176.
Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers. Bye: 10.
Bucky Irving was injured for half the year. This could have been a fluke, but Irving isn't big in stature and could be prone to injury as a result.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 960 rushing yards. 38 catches. 310 receiving yards. 8 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 175.
Jadarian Price, RB, Seahawks. Bye: 11.
Jadarian Price received the opening first-team rep in Thursday's practice and has been catching plenty of passes. The latter nugget is key because Price barely had any receptions at Notre Dame. George Holani played extensively for the Seahawks in the preseason opener. If Seattle considered Holani a major threat to Jadarian Price's workload, he likely would have sat with the other starters. However, he was given 12 carries in this game, which is an indication that he will not be playing very much in comparison to Price.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 930 rushing yards. 20 catches. 150 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 174.
Josh Jacobs, RB, Packers. Bye: 11.
Josh Jacobs was arrested with five charges pertaining to domestic abuse. There's a good chance he'll be suspended, but he could be found innocent. There's also a possibility that the NFL will drag its feet with an investigation. However, he's too risky to be drafted in the first four rounds at the moment.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 900 rushing yards. 27 catches. 190 receiving yards. 10 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 169.
Jonathan Brooks, RB, Panthers. Bye: 5.
Jonathan Brooks could be healthy for a change. He'll have a chance to get some playing time behind Chuba Hubbard. Hubbard is week-to-week with a hamstring injury. This is a golden opportunity for Jonathon Brooks to seize the starting job, which looked certain in the first place.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 850 rushing yards. 30 catches. 200 receiving yards. 7 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 167.
Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots. Bye: 11.
Rhamondre Stevenson remained as the starter despite TreVeyon Henderson's presence. That'll continue to be the case until the Patriots trust Henderson's blocking.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 730 rushing yards. 38 catches. 320 receiving yards. 9 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 159.
Jordan Mason, RB, Vikings. Bye: 6.
Jordan Mason should continue to split the workload evenly with Aaron Jones. He won't be a great option until Jones is injured.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 780 rushing yards. 12 catches. 50 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 144.
Tony Pollard, RB, Titans. Bye: 9.
Tony Pollard had a surprisingly strong season for his situation last year. With no upgrade, he should have a solid 2026 season.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 850 rushing yards. 25 catches. 140 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 143.
Kyle Monanagi, RB, Bears. Bye: 10.
Kyle Monangai will miss multiple weeks due to a hyperextended knee. While it's possible that he'll be back for Week 1, it's likely that he'll be out for the first couple of weeks of the season. He should be bumped down a couple of rounds.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 700 rushing yards. 20 catches. 120 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 138.
It was no surprise that J.K. Dobbins was the primary runner in Denver last year, but it also wasn't a surprise that Dobbins got hurt and missed some time. Dobbins suffered a soft-tissue injury in Monday's practice. Surprise, surprise. It's unclear how serious this injury is, but it's definitely not a good sign.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 690 rushing yards. 20 catches. 130 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 138.
Chris Rodriguez, RB, Jaguars. Bye: 7.
Chris Rodriguez started some games late in the year. The Jaguars signed him this offseason. If Rodriguez wins the starting job, he could be very productive in Liam Coen's offense.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 730 rushing yards. 3 catches. 20 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 136.
TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots. Bye: 11.
TreVeyon Henderson had some big plays as a rookie, but played behind Rhamondre Stevenson. That should continue to be the case in 2026.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 730 rushing yards. 34 catches. 240 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 133.
Rico Dowdle, RB, Steelers. Bye: 9.
Rico Dowdle had some amazing performances last year, but later split the wokload with Chuba Hubbard. He's now with the Steelers, where he'll have a chance to be the primary back.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 760 rushing yards. 26 catches. 210 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 133.
R.J. Harvey, RB, Broncos. Bye: 10.
R.J. Harvey is a poor runner who won't be handling the full workload next year. He is likely to be overdrafted, especially with J.K. Dobbins returning.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 480 rushing yards. 48 catches. 360 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 120.
Tyler Allgeier, RB, Cardinals. Bye: 14.
Tyler Allgeier signed with the Cardinals, which was a disappointment because he's stuck in a crowded committee.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 480 rushing yards. 12 catches. 100 receiving yards. 7 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 120.
Jonah Coleman, RB, Broncos. Bye: 10.
Jonah Coleman was pulled early from his first preseason game because Sean Payton was satisfied with what he had seen. There's growing speculation that Coleman - not R.J. Harvey - would take over for J.K. Dobbins in the event of an injury.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 490 rushing yards. 12 catches. 80 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 117.
Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers. Bye: 5.
Chuba Hubbard split the workload with Rico Dowdle last year. Dowdle is gone, so Hubbard projects to have a much better 2026.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 630 rushing yards. 25 catches. 160 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 115.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Redskins. Bye: 7.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt was a nice story, but he wasn't very good and could lose his job.
Projected 2026 Fantasy Stats: 660 rushing yards. 12 catches. 90 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2026 Fantasy Points: 115.
