Zach Charbonnet split touches evenly with Kenneth Walker, except at the goal line, where he served as the hammer. Charbonnet, however, tore his ACL in January, so he may not be ready until the middle of the season.

Emanuel Wilson, RB, Packers. Bye: .

Emmanuel Wilson could work his way into the starting lineup early in the season.

Chris Rodriguez, RB, Redskins. Bye: .

Chris Rodriguez started some games late in the year. The Jaguars signed him this offseason. If Rodriguez wins the starting job, he could be very productive in Liam Coen’s offense.

Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints. Bye: .

Alvin Kamara is now 31, so he should continue to regress. Travis Etienne’s presence complicates things.

Mike Washington had a great combine. He projects as a mid-second-day pick.

Braelon Allen, RB, Jets. Bye: .

The Jets seemingly had big plans for Braelon Allen, but he played just four games. There’s a chance he could be the lead back if Breece Hall is traded at some point.

James Conner, RB, Cardinals. Bye: .

James Conner barely played in 2025 becaue of a foot injury. Now 31, Conner will have more injuries in the future. He’ll also have to share the work with Tyler Allgeier.

Demond Claiborne is a smaller back who is excellent at catching passes out of the backfield.

Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Steelers. Bye: .

Kenneth Gainwell was a huge receiving threat last year, effectively serving as the No. 2 receiver. He’s now in Tampa Bay, where he’ll take on Rachaad White’s role.

Nicolas Singleton figures to be a third-round pick in the draft.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Redskins. Bye: .

Jacory Croskey-Merritt was a nice story, but he wasn’t very good and could be upgraded in the draft.

Tyrone Tracy, RB, Giants. Bye: .

Tyrone Tracy will need another Cam Skattebo injury to be relevant again.

Isaac Guerendo, RB, 49ers. Bye: .

Isaac Guerendo could be the RB2 in San Francisco this year with Brian Robinson departing.

Dylan Sampson shouldn’t be drafted, but must be acquired via waivers if Quinshon Judkins were to get injured.

Justice Hill, RB, Ravens. Bye: .

Justice Hill had some solid performances in blowouts in 2024, but missed seven games last year due to injury.

Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs. Bye: .

Isiah Pacheco had a strong start to his career, but hasn’t been the same since getting hurt in 2024. He’s now going to play behind Jahmyr Gibbs.

Tank Bigsby, RB, Jaguars. Bye: .

Tank Bigsby will receive a big workload if Saquon Barkley were to suffer an injury.

Brashard Smith, RB, Chiefs. Bye: .

Brashard Smith is a good receiver out of the backfield, but won’t see much work with Kenneth Walker on the team.

Brian Robinson, RB, 49ers. Bye: .

Brian Robinson Jr. is the handcuff for Bijan Robinson, who hasn’t gotten hurt in the NFL yet.

Jonah Coleman is a quick, strongly built running back who could be drafted on Day 2.

Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals. Bye: .

Trey Benson is a talented back who had a chance to start last year, but got injured very quickly. He won’t have much of an opportunity with Tyler Allgeier now in the mix.

Kaytron Allen is a physical runner who could be a Round 3-4 pick.

Jayden Ott comes with injury concerns, but he’s a very versatile back who could be a Round 3-4 pick.

Samaje Perine must be added in the event of a Chase Brown injury.

Ollie Gordon, RB, Dolphins. Bye: .

Ollie Gordon is just a handcuff behind De’Von Achane, who hasn’t gotten hurt the past two years.

There isn’t much behind James Cook on Buffalo’s roster, so Ray Davis could take over as the starter in the event of an injury.

Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans. Bye: .

Tyjae Spears is an excellent receiver out of the backfield, and he’ll need to be rostered if Tony Pollard gets hurt. There’s a chance the Titans will draft Jeremiyah Love, however.

Keaton Mitchell, RB, Ravens. Bye: .

Keaton Mitchell should be the primary backup for Omarion Hampton this year. He’ll be worth adding if Hampton gets hurt.

Joe Mixon, RB, Texans. Bye: .

Joe Mixon missed all of last year with a foot injury. Perhaps he’ll return in 2026, but there’s no guarantee he’ll last very long.

D.J. Giddens, RB, Colts. Bye: .

D.J. Giddens could emerge as Jonathan Taylor’s backup this year.

Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys. Bye: .

Jaydon Blue was given first-team reps in training camp last year, but it didn’t matter because he was a healthy scratch in double-digit games. He was a colossal disappointment.

Kaelon Black is a quick, powerful runner who projects a Round 3-4 pick.

Jarquez Hunter, RB, Rams. Bye: .

Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur noted that Jarquez Hunter would get more opportunities than expected last year. So much for that. Hunter needs Kyren Williams or Blake Corum to get hurt to be relevant.
