2022 Fantasy Football Rankings - Quarterbacks (June 11):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-35
Other Positions: RB | WR | TE
-
Josh Allen, QB, Bills. Bye: 0.
Much like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen was often frustrated with the cover-2 shell teams used against him this past season. The Bills could establish a running game to beat this style of defense, but that would mean slowing down the offense and diminishing Allen’s stats.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,700 passing yards. 38 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 640 rushing yards. 5 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 368. -
Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs. Bye: 0.
Patrick Mahomes is coming off his worst statistical season, as teams limited him with a cover-2 shell. Perhaps Andy Reid will come up with a way to beat this scheme, though that’ll be difficult with Tyreek Hill gone. Either way, with teams limiting the deep pass, Mahomes will be overdrafted in your league because he’s a big name.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,700 passing yards. 38 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 340 rushing yards. 3 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 352. -
Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens. Bye: 0.
Lamar Jackson’s pass protection hasn’t been as great the past two seasons, thanks to Marshal Yanda’s retirement and Ronnie Stanley’s constant injuries. The Ravens upgraded the offensive line with Tyler Linderbaum, but lost Marquise Brown in the process.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,600 passing yards. 24 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 940 rushing yards. 6 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 334. -
Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers. Bye: 0.
Justin Herbert had a great rookie year and was even better in his second season. Thanks to the improved offensive line, Herbert will continue to be one of the top fantasy quarterbacks.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,800 passing yards. 36 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 300 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 332. -
Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals. Bye: 0.
Kyler Murray is always a risk to get injured, but he’s a great fantasy producer when healthy, thanks to his running ability. He’ll have some amazing weapons when DeAndre Hopkins returns from his six-game suspension to join Marquise Brown.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,800 passing yards. 27 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 340 rushing yards. 6 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 331. -
Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals. Bye: 0.
Joe Burrow was a huge question mark heading into 2021 because of his knee injury. Burrow was excellent this past season, and he’ll continue to improve in 2022, especially with the monstrous offensive line the Bengals have assembled.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,500 passing yards. 35 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 120 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 324. -
Russell Wilson, QB, Broncos. Bye: 0.
Russell Wilson is now on the Broncos. They’ll likely allow him to throw the ball more, as Wilson won’t be hindered by a horrible coaching staff. Wilson has plenty of talented weapons at his disposal as well.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,300 passing yards. 35 passing TDs. 9 INTs. 340 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 320. -
Tom Brady, QB, Buccaneers. Bye: 0.
Tom Brady will slow down at some point. He’ll be 45 in 2022, but we’ve seen no signs of him slowing down. He’s still safe to draft as a lower-end starter at the very least.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,900 passing yards. 38 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 80 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 319. -
Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles. Bye: 0.
Jalen Hurts’ outlook is much more bullish than it was prior to the 2022 NFL Draft because of the A.J. Brown trade. The Eagles were very run-heavy last year, but they want to throw more.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,300 passing yards. 19 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 810 rushing yards. 8 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 318. -
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers. Bye: 0.
Aaron Rodgers is back in Green Bay, but Davante Adams is not. The Packers drafted a couple of promising rookies, but they won’t be able to match Adams’ production.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,500 passing yards. 35 passing TDs. 6 INTs. 100 rushing yards. 4 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 317.
