2022 Fantasy Football Rankings - Quarterbacks (June 11):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-35

Other Positions: RB | WR | TE

  1. Jameis Winston Jameis Winston, QB, Saints. Bye: 0.

Jameis Winston was a disappointment last year, though he didn’t have Michael Thomas at his disposal. Still, the quarterback who threw for 5,000 yards and 30 touchdowns will have Thomas and Chris Olave at his disposal in 2022. If the Saints weren’t so run-heavy, I’d like Winston a lot more.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,500 passing yards. 28 passing TDs. 11 INTs. 320 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 268.

  2. Justin Fields, QB, Bears. Bye: 0.

Justin Fields had an inconsistent rookie year, looking great at times and terrible in some games. Fields’ rushing ability makes him a viable fantasy option despite his horrid receiving corps.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,100 passing yards. 21 passing TDs. 14 INTs. 510 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 263.

  3. Carson Wentz, QB, Redskins. Bye: 0.

The Colts won in spite of Carson Wentz last year, as Wentz had some rough performances down the stretch. Wentz can’t reliably be used in favorable matchups because the Redskins will just run the ball a lot.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,600 passing yards. 25 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 220 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 258.

  4. Daniel Jones, QB, Giants. Bye: 0.

Daniel Jones was a huge disappointment yet again. The Giants are giving him one more chance, and he could have his best year yet because the front office did a solid job of upgrading the offensive line.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,600 passing yards. 19 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 430 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 255.

  5. Mac Jones, QB, Patriots. Bye: 0.

Mac Jones was the best of all the rookie quarterbacks in 2021. He doesn’t possess much upside, but he’s perfect in the Patriots’ offense. New England will expand his playbook next year, and DeVante Parker’s presence will help.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,900 passing yards. 25 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 100 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 252.

  6. Zach Wilson, QB, Jets. Bye: 0.

Zach Wilson had a rough rookie year, but he has tons of potential, so he could improve in his second season. The Jets have given him Garrett Wilson and an offensive line upgrade, so Wilson won’t have any excuses in 2022.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,600 passing yards. 23 passing TDs. 15 INTs. 100 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 248.

  7. Baker Mayfield, QB, TBA. Bye: 0.

Baker Mayfield disappointed last year. He dealt with a shoulder injury, so perhaps he can’t be blamed. He’ll have a chance elsewhere in 2022, but it’s unclear where that’ll be yet.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,600 passing yards. 25 passing TDs. 9 INTs. 160 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 248.

  8. Jared Goff, QB, Lions. Bye: 0.

Jared Goff can be used against bad teams in streaming situations if Jameson Williams is ready to play coming off his torn ACL.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,700 passing yards. 23 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 120 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 234.

  9. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, TBA. Bye: 0.

It’s unclear if Jimmy Garoppolo will have a starting job next year. If he does, he’ll likely have less success than he did with Kyle Shanahan.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,700 passing yards. 20 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 60 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 220.

  10. Kenny Pickett, QB, Steelers. Bye: 0.

Kenny Pickett doesn’t have an elite skill set or great mobility, so he’s not ideal for fantasy. He’ll be playing in a run-heavy Pittsburgh offense if he even wins the job.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 2,900 passing yards. 18 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 100 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 200.

  11. Marcus Mariota, QB, Falcons. Bye: 0.

Marcus Mariota has some fantasy appeal because of his rushing ability, but he may not hold down Atlanta’s job very long. He also won’t have quality blocking in front of him.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 2,600 passing yards. 16 passing TDs. 8 INTs. 280 rushing yards. 3 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 200.

  12. Davis Mills, QB, Texans. Bye: 0.

The Texans are giving Davis Mills a chance to start in 2022. It won’t end well.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,300 passing yards. 21 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 60 rushing yards. 0 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 196.

  13. Matt Corral, QB, Panthers. Bye: 0.

The Panthers traded next year’s third-round pick to obtain Matt Corral in this year’s third frame. Corral runs a lot, so he would be appealing for fantasy if he ends up getting the nod.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 1,800 passing yards. 10 passing TDs. 8 INTs. 300 rushing yards. 3 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 174.

  14. Sam Darnold Sam Darnold, QB, Panthers. Bye: 0.

Sam Darnold is somehow slated to be the starting quarterback in Carolina once again. There’s a chance Matt Corral will beat him out as the starter though.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 2,600 passing yards. 14 passing TDs. 16 INTs. 240 rushing yards. 3 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 170.

  15. Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Steelers. Bye: 0.

Mitchell Trubisky is currently the starting quarterback for the Steelers, but that may not last very long with Kenny Pickett on the roster.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 2,000 passing yards. 12 passing TDs. 7 INTs. 120 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 168.

  16. Taysom Hill Taysom Hill, QB, Saints. Bye: 6.

Taysom Hill can be used if he ends up making quarterback starts again.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 600 passing yards. 2 passing TDs. 3 INTs. 300 rushing yards. 5 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 136.

  17. Desmond Ridder, QB, Falcons. Bye: 0.

Desmond Ridder may see action as a rookie. He has rushing ability, so he would be mildly appealing.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 1,300 passing yards. 6 passing TDs. 5 INTs. 150 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 133.

  18. Drew Lock, QB, Seahawks. Bye: 0.

Drew Lock is penciled in as the Seahawks’ starting quarterback, but the team may trade for Baker Mayfield or Jimmy Garoppolo.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 1,700 passing yards. 11 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 90 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 113.

  19. Malik Willis, QB, Titans. Bye: 0.

Malik Willis is a quarterback with immense upside in both real life and fantasy. That is, once he earns the starting job in Tennessee. That’ll be in 2023 or later.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 400 passing yards. 3 passing TDs. 3 INTs. 90 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 93.
