2022 Fantasy Football Rankings - Quarterbacks (June 11):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-35
Other Positions: RB | WR | TE
-
Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams. Bye: 0.
Matthew Stafford had an amazing first season under Sean McVay despite a back injury and Robert Woods’ injury in the second half of the year. Stafford should be better in his second season.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,900 passing yards. 40 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 40 rushing yards. 0 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 311. -
Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys. Bye: 0.
Dak Prescott had a great start to the year, but he suffered through a slump at the end of the season. He would be locked in as a QB1 with last year’s supporting cast, but Dallas lost Amari Cooper and two starting offensive linemen this offseason.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,400 passing yards. 30 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 130 rushing yards. 3 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 308. -
Kirk Cousins, QB, Vikings. Bye: 0.
Kirk Cousins had some great games in 2021, but he was frustrating at times when the Vikings went overly conservative with him. He’s a good quarterback to stream, but he can’t be an every-week starter.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,300 passing yards. 34 passing TDs. 10 INTs. 130 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 307. -
Trey Lance, QB, 49ers. Bye: 0.
Given Jimmy Garoppolo’s struggles to close out the year, there’s a good chance Trey Lance will be the 49ers’ starter in 2022. Lance has fantasy QB1 potential because of his rushing ability.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,250 passing yards. 18 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 840 rushing yards. 7 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 306. -
Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins. Bye: 0.
Tua Tagovailoa has huge fantasy upside because of all the pieces the Dolphins have obtained this offseason (Tyreek Hill, Cedrick Wilson, Chase Edmonds, multiple offensive linemen), but he hasn’t shown an ability to last all 16/17 games yet. Still, I like him as a sleeper.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,900 passing yards. 28 passing TDs. 13 INTs. 150 rushing yards. 5 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 299. -
Derek Carr, QB, Raiders. Bye: 0.
Derek Carr received a huge boost when the Raiders traded for Davante Adams. He now is a viable streaming option in favorable matchups.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,300 passing yards. 28 passing TDs. 11 INTs. 140 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 288. -
Deshaun Watson, QB, Browns. Bye: 0.
Deshaun Watson was effectively suspended last year for his off-the-field matters. He’s now on the Browns, though it’s unclear how long he’ll be suspended. Watson figures to be a top-10 fantasy quarterback when he’s on the field, but his spot in these rankings will be dictated by suspension length.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,300 passing yards. 20 passing TDs. 8 INTs. 290 rushing yards. 3 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 283. -
Matt Ryan, QB, Colts. Bye: 0.
Matt Ryan is now quarterbacking the Colts. This is not an ideal spot for him from a fantasy perspective because Indianapolis is a run-heavy team that will have the lead more often than not.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 4,100 passing yards. 26 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 80 rushing yards. 1 rushing TD.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 273. -
Ryan Tannehill, QB, Titans. Bye: 0.
Ryan Tannehill will never be a great fantasy quarterback because the Titans run so often, but he can sometimes be used in spot starts. That said, the A.J. Brown trade hurts his value in those instances.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,800 passing yards. 26 passing TDs. 12 INTs. 260 rushing yards. 6 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 269. -
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars. Bye: 0.
Trevor Lawrence was a huge disappointment in his rookie year. However, he’s expected to be much better in his second season with a superior coaching staff and a slightly better receiving corps.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 3,900 passing yards. 24 passing TDs. 14 INTs. 320 rushing yards. 2 rushing TDs.
Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 268.
