QB | RB | FB | WR | TE | OT | G | C | DE | DT | NT | 3-4 OLB | 3-4 DE | OLB | ILB | CB | S | K | P

  1. Garrett Lindholm, Tarleton State
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 185.
    Projected Round (2010): 4-5.

4/2/10: Raider fans are lucky that Sebastian Janikowski is on the team; otherwise, Al Davis would consider Garrett Lindholm in the first round. Lindholm, who hit a 64-yard field goal in 2009, drilled 3-of-4 attempts from 60-plus at his Pro Day. Wow.

  2. Leigh Tiffin, Alabama
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 209.
    Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

4/2/10: Hit lots of clutch kicks, and converted on 30-of-35 attempts in 2009. He was 6-of-8 from 40-plus.

3/14/09: Leigh Tiffin struggled from long distance in 2008. Sure, he was 2-of-3 from 50-plus, but he was just 2-of-7 from 40 to 49.

5/26/08: Leigh Tiffin hit 2-of-2 from 50-plus, but also missed four attempts inside 40 yards.

  3. Brett Swenson, Michigan State
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 178.
    Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

4/2/10: Brett Swenson had a great 2009 campaign, converting on 19-of-22 kicks, including 5-of-7 from 40-plus.

3/14/09: Brett Swenson hit 22-of-28 attempts. He was 6-of-7 from 40 to 49, but just 1-of-3 from 50-plus.

  4. Aaron Pettrey, Ohio State
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 202.
    Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

4/2/10: Aaron Pettry was a mediocre 14-of-20 in 2009, but did nail 7-of-9 from 40-plus.

3/14/09: Aaron Pettrey headlines this weak kicking class; he was just 7-of-8 in 2008, but connected on 6-of-7 tries from beyond 40 yards. He hit two 50-yarders, including one from 54.

  5. Hunter Lawrence, Texas
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 184.
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

4/2/10: Hasn’t hit a field goal longer than 49 yards in his collegiate career, but he was 10-of-11 from 40 to 49 in 2009. He converted on 24-of-27 attempts overall.

3/14/09: Took over for Ryan Bailey, who used to headline this list. Hunter Lawrence nailed 10-of-12 tries in 2008, and was 4-of-5 from 40-plus. However, his longest conversion came from 46.

  6. Mike Salerno, Northern Illinois
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 170.
    Projected Round (2010): FA.

4/2/10: Was just 4-of-8 from 40-plus, but did hit a 50-yarder. He converted on 19-of-25 attempts overall.

3/14/09: Connected on 18-of-24 attempts as a junior, but just 2-of-6 from 40 to 49. On the bright side, Mike Salerno had a 52-yarder go through the uprights.

  7. Alex Steigerwald, Toledo
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 182.
    Projected Round (2010): FA.

4/2/10: Converted on 12-of-16 field goals last season, but was 5-of-9 from 40-plus.

3/14/09: Alex Steigerwald actually missed some kicks in 2008. He connected on 5-of-7 tries from 40-plus. Didn’t attempt anything beyond 48 yards.

5/26/08: Perfect. If you look that word up in the dictionary, you’ll find a picture of Alex Steigerwld. OK, maybe not… But the fact remains Steigerwald was 13-of-13 in 2007. That said, he didn’t attempt a kick longer than 44 yards out.

  8. Josh Aruco, Arkansas State
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 210.
    Projected Round (2010): FA.

    4/2/10: Was 14-of-17 in 2009, but his longest kick was a 42-yarder.

3/14/09: Very accurate (17-of-19; 4-of-5 from 40-plus) but his longest kick came from 44 yards out.

  9. Joshua Shene, Ole Miss
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 167.
    Projected Round (2010): FA.

4/2/10: No leg power; Joshua Shene was 3-of-6 from 40 to 49. His longest conversion was a 45-yarder, and he was 15-of-20 overall.

    3/14/09: Accurate inside 40, but just 2-of-5 from 40-plus in 2008.
