NFL Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy RB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated 10/2/2022 12:06:39 PM - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts (vs. Titans)- 22 Points
130 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Tennessee has been weaker to the run this year, so Jonathan Taylor could thrive.

  2. Saquon Barkley, RB, Giants (vs. Bears)- 22 Points
120 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Bears have been weak against the run this year.

  3. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns (at Falcons)- 21 Points
130 Rushing Yards, 1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Nick Chubb figures to have a big game against a weak defense.

  4. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers (vs. Cardinals)- 20 Points
100 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Will this week finally be the time that Matt Rhule realizes that Christian McCaffrey can catch passes?

  5. Khalil Herbert, RB, Bears (at Giants)- 19 Points
110 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Khalil Herbert must be started with David Montgomery out.

  6. Jamaal Williams, RB, Lions (vs. Seahawks)- 18 Points
90 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  7. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals (vs. Dolphins)- 17 Points
90 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Perhaps the Bengals will use Joe Mixon like the Bills did with Devin Singletary.

  8. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans (at Colts)- 17 Points
80 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Titans are using Derrick Henry heavily as a receiver.

  9. Javonte Williams, RB, Broncos (at Raiders)- 15 Points
60 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Raiders have been weak to the run this year, though Denzel Perryman's return will help.

  10. Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers (at Texans)- 15 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 6 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Austin Ekeler will continue to rack up tons of receptions, regardless of the quarterback and matchup, but he's not doing anything on the ground.

  11. James Robinson, RB, Jaguars (at Eagles)- 14 Points
60 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
James Robinson isn't in an ideal spot, but he could be in position for a touchdown.

  12. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers (vs. Patriots)- 14 Points
40 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Patriots have done well against the run this year, but Aaron Jones will catch passes out of the backfield.

  13. Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings (at Saints)- 14 Points
60 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Dalvin Cook suffered an injury last week, but he will play.

  14. A.J. Dillon, RB, Packers (vs. Patriots)- 13 Points
40 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
A.J. Dillon is a primary weapon now, and he's also doing damage as a receiver. This is a tough matchup though.

  15. Jeff Wilson, RB, 49ers (vs. Rams)- 12 Points
100 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.
It's difficult to run on the Rams, but the 49ers have done it in the past.

  16. Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders (vs. Broncos)- 12 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Denver is much better against the run with Josey Jewell on the field.

  17. Rashaad Penny, RB, Seahawks (at Lions)- 12 Points
100 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.
Rashaad Penny may not get many chances if his team is way behind.

  18. Dameon Pierce, RB, Texans (vs. Chargers)- 12 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Will Dameon Pierce see a full workload again after fumbling twice last week?

  19. Miles Sanders, RB, Eagles (vs. Jaguars)- 11 Points
90 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.
Be prepared for the other running backs to vulture Miles Sanders.

  20. Damien Harris, RB, Patriots (at Packers)- 11 Points
    50 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Damien Harris is sharing the workload evenly now.

  21. Antonio Gibson, RB, Redskins (at Cowboys)- 11 Points
80 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Antonio Gibson has a nice matchup against the Cowboys.

  22. Najee Harris, RB, Steelers (vs. Jets)- 11 Points
80 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Najee Harris' blocking is suspect, but he should perform well against the Jets.

  23. James Conner, RB, Cardinals (at Panthers)- 10 Points
70 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
James Conner could rebound against a softer run defense.

  24. Kareem Hunt, RB, Browns (at Falcons)- 9 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.
Kareem Hunt will see plenty of work in a nice matchup.

  25. Leonard Fournette, RB, Bucs (vs. Chiefs)- 9 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.
The Buccaneers just shut down Jonathan Taylor.

  26. Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Falcons (vs. Browns)- 9 Points
70 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.
It'll be much tougher for Cordarrelle Patterson to go off this week.

  27. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys (vs. Redskins)- 8 Points
60 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.
The Redskins are better against the run than the pass.

  28. Breece Hall, RB, Jets (at Steelers)- 8 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Breece Hall's touches should continue to rise.

  29. Cam Akers, RB, Rams (at 49ers)- 8 Points
70 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.
It appears as though Cam Akers is out of the dog house.

  30. Mark Ingram, RB, Saints (vs. Vikings)- 8 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Mark Ingram can be used with Alvin Kamara out.

  31. Devin Singletary, RB, Bills (at Ravens)- 7 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.
Devin Singletary won't have as many receptions this week, so don't chase.

  32. Tony Pollard, RB, Cowboys (vs. Redskins)- 7 Points
20 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.
Tony Pollard should do some damage as a receiver out of the backfield.

  33. Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots (at Packers)- 7 Points
40 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
The Packers will play closer to the line of scrimmage with Mac Jones sidelined.

  34. Melvin Gordon, RB, Broncos (at Raiders)- 6 Points
40 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  35. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Chiefs (at Buccaneers)- 6 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Not a great option because of the committee, despite the multiple Week 1 touchdowns.

  36. Travis Etienne, RB, Jaguars (at Eagles)- 6 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Travis Etienne will be a great weapon out of the backfield if the Jaguars actually decide to use him.

  37. Michael Carter, RB, Jets (at Steelers)- 6 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  38. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ravens (vs. Bills)- 6 Points
50 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.
J.K. Dobbins will continue to share the workload.

  39. Chase Edmonds, RB, Dolphins (at Bengals)- 5 Points
20 Rushing Yards, 4 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.
Chase Edmonds scored twice in Week 3, but I wouldn't count on that happening again.

  40. J.D. McKissic, RB, Redskins (at Cowboys)- 5 Points
10 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  41. Alexander Mattison, RB, Vikings (at Saints)- 5 Points
40 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.

  42. Jerick McKinnon, RB, Chiefs (at Buccaneers)- 4 Points
20 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  43. Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts (vs. Titans)- 4 Points
10 Rushing Yards, 5 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  44. Raheem Mostert, RB, Dolphins (at Bengals)- 4 Points
    40 Rushing Yards.

  45. Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Eagles (vs. Jaguars)- 4 Points
20 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  46. Darrell Henderson, RB, Rams (at 49ers)- 4 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.
Darrell Henderson didn't carry the ball once in the second half.

  47. Latavius Murray, RB, Saints (vs. Vikings)- 4 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 2 Catches, 10 Receiving Yards.

  48. Kenneth Walker, RB, Seahawks (at Lions)- 4 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  49. Jaylen Warren, RB, Steelers (vs. Jets)- 4 Points
30 Rushing Yards, 1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.
