NFL Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy QB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated 10/27/2020 1:51:55 PM - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers (vs. Vikings)- 28 Points
330 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 20 Rushing Yards.
The pathetic Minnesota secondary stands no chance.

  2. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (vs. Jets)- 27 Points
300 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 20 Rushing Yards.
The conditions will be much better for Patrick Mahomes this week, but he may not have to throw in the second half.

  3. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens (vs. Steelers)- 26 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 70 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
This is a tough matchup for Lamar Jackson, but that could just mean that he'll scramble more.

  4. Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks (vs. 49ers)- 25 Points
290 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
The 49ers have been great against the pass the previous two weeks.

  5. Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals (vs. Titans)- 22 Points
300 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
The Titans have struggled against the pass all year, so Joe Burrow's outlook appears to be good.

  6. Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons (at Panthers)- 22 Points
330 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
The Panthers have so many injuries for them to deal with Matt Ryan.

  7. Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Panthers (vs. Falcons)- 22 Points
300 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Teddy Bridgewater just threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons.

  8. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Titans (at Bengals)- 22 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
Ryan Tannehill will bounce back against the Bengals' injury-ravaged secondary.

  9. Baker Mayfield, QB, Browns (vs. Raiders)- 21 Points
270 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Baker Mayfield should continue to be hot against the Raiders' poor defense.

  10. Tom Brady, QB, Bucs (at Giants)- 21 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
Tom Brady will continue to stay hot against the pathetic Giants.

  11. Carson Wentz, QB, Eagles (vs. Cowboys)- 21 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 20 Rushing Yards.
The Cowboys just had issues stopping Kyle Allen…

  12. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers (at Seahawks)- 20 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
The Seahawks have a terrible secondary unless Jamal Adams returns.

  13. Josh Allen, QB, Bills (vs. Patriots)- 20 Points
270 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
I'd say Josh Allen has a tough matchup against Bill Belichick, but that 49ers game...

  14. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers (at Broncos)- 20 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
Justin Herbert better get back his injured offensive linemen against the Broncos' front.

  15. Philip Rivers, QB, Colts (at Lions)- 19 Points
330 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.

  16. Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions (vs. Colts)- 19 Points
270 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Matthew Stafford is just a middling option this week.

  17. Cam Newton, QB, Patriots (at Bills)- 19 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 40 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Cam Newton looked very injured against the 49ers.

  18. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins (vs. Rams)- 18 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.
I think I'd wait on Tua Tagovailoa, especially in a matchup against Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey.

  19. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders (at Browns)- 18 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.

  20. Drew Brees, QB, Saints (at Bears)- 17 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
This is a tough matchup for Drew Brees, so it's best to avoid him this week.

  21. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers (at Ravens)- 17 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
This is not a great spot for Ben Roethlisberger.

  22. Kirk Cousins, QB, Vikings (at Packers)- 17 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Kirk Cousins could have lots of garbage-time yardage.

  23. Nick Foles, QB, Bears (vs. Saints)- 16 Points
250 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.

  24. Daniel Jones, QB, Giants (vs. Bucs)- 14 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
Daniel Jones won't get any blocking this week.

  25. Drew Lock, QB, Broncos (vs. Chargers)- 13 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
I don't expect Drew Lock to rebound against a good defense.

  26. Andy Dalton, QB, Cowboys (at Eagles)- 13 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  27. Jared Goff, QB, Rams (at Dolphins)- 13 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Miami's talented cornerbacks should be able to take away Jared Goff's receivers.

  28. Sam Darnold, QB, Jets (at Chiefs)- 12 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 30 Rushing Yards.

  29. Ben DiNucci, QB, Cowboys (at Eagles)- 9 Points
150 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.

  30. Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals (vs. BYE)- 0 Points

  31. Gardner Minshew, QB, Jaguars (vs. BYE)- 0 Points

  32. Kyle Allen, QB, Redskins (vs. BYE)- 0 Points

  33. Deshaun Watson, QB, Texans (vs. BYE)- 0 Points
