NFL Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy QB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated 9/25/2022 3:25:25 PM - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Josh Allen, QB, Bills (at Dolphins)- 37 Points
330 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 50 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
We just saw what Lamar Jackson did to Miami's defense.

  2. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (at Colts)- 37 Points
390 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 30 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
The Colts have no pass rush, so Patrick Mahomes will be free to do whatever he wants.

  3. Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles (at Redskins)- 31 Points
320 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 60 Rushing Yards.
Jared Goff just abused the Redskins' defense, so Jalen Hurts could have a huge game.

  4. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens (at Patriots)- 26 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 60 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
The Patriots tend to struggle against mobile quarterbacks.

  5. Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals (at Jets)- 25 Points
330 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Joe Burrow should continue to improve as he recovers from his appendectomy. I expect him to be much better this week.

  6. Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals (vs. Rams)- 23 Points
310 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Kyler Murray has always struggled against the Rams.

  7. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins (vs. Bills)- 22 Points
320 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Buffalo has some cornerback issues, so perhaps Tua Tagovailoa could have another big game.

  8. Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams (at Cardinals)- 21 Points
300 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 2 INTs.
Matthew Stafford has a very easy matchup against the Cardinals.

  9. Russell Wilson, QB, Broncos (vs. 49ers)- 20 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
It's only a matter of time before Russell Wilson goes off.

  10. Kirk Cousins, QB, Vikings (vs. Lions)- 20 Points
310 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 3 INTs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Kirk Cousins will rebound versus Detroit's porous defense.

  11. Jared Goff, QB, Lions (at Vikings)- 19 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
Jared Goff could be engaged in a shootout.

  12. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders (at Titans)- 19 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Derek Carr will see a big pass rush in a tough matchup.

  13. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars (at Chargers)- 18 Points
270 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Trevor Lawrence was amazing this week, but the Chargers' defense will provide a much greater challenge.

  14. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers (at Buccaneers)- 18 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Aaron Rodgers' upside is limited by his receivers.

  15. Carson Wentz, QB, Redskins (vs. Eagles)- 18 Points
320 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 2 INTs, 20 Rushing Yards.
Carson Wentz could have plenty of garbage-time opportunities against his former team.

  16. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Titans (vs. Raiders)- 18 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  17. Matt Ryan, QB, Colts (vs. Chiefs)- 17 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
Matt Ryan will play better this week if he gets his receivers back from injury.

  18. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers (at Broncos)- 16 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 1 TD.

  19. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Browns (vs. Steelers)- 16 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 30 Rushing Yards.

  20. Tom Brady, QB, Bucs (vs. Packers)- 16 Points
250 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
Tom Brady goes from one difficult matchup to another.

  21. Marcus Mariota, QB, Falcons (at Seahawks)- 16 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
Marcus Mariota's rushing makes him somewhat appealing, but not really.

  22. Daniel Jones, QB, Giants (vs. Cowboys)- 16 Points
230 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  23. Justin Fields, QB, Bears (vs. Texans)- 15 Points
210 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 30 Rushing Yards.

  24. Jameis Winston, QB, Saints (at Panthers)- 15 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 2 INTs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Jameis Winston is banged up, so stay away.

  25. Mac Jones, QB, Patriots (vs. Ravens)- 14 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.

  26. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers (vs. Jaguars)- 13 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD.
Justin Herbert was downgraded in Friday's practice.

  27. Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Steelers (at Browns)- 13 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.

  28. Cooper Rush, QB, Cowboys (at Giants)- 12 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  29. Baker Mayfield, QB, Panthers (vs. Saints)- 12 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.

  30. Joe Flacco, QB, Jets (vs. Bengals)- 11 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs.

  31. Geno Smith, QB, Seahawks (vs. Falcons)- 10 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 20 Rushing Yards.

  32. Davis Mills, QB, Texans (at Bears)- 8 Points
200 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs.

  33. Sam Darnold, QB, Panthers (vs. Saints)- 0 Points
