2010 NFL Draft E-mails – Todd McShay’s 2010 NFL Mock Draft Update
Did you see Todd McDouche’s, I mean McShay’s, latest mock? He just dropped Clausen out of the 1st round. Anyway, he’s not listed anywhere in the first round that I can see. How does he have a job doing this as an “expert”?
McShay=McMoron
–> I honestly have no idea. I’d say he was bathing in sun too long, but even then he would know to put Jimmy Clausen in the first round at the very least. It’s almost as if he has some sort of personal agenda against Clausen.
I think we can start calling McShay the Matt Millen of NFL Draft analysts. Millen had this mental block with drafting receivers; McShay has this mental block that tells him quarterbacks are unimportant or something. It amazes me that he hasn’t learned anything in the past few years.
I have ESPN insider and thought I would check out my favorite scout douche bag Mcshays mock. Here is the comment from his 14th pick.
“Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen might be a possibility here, but we do not believe he’s worthy of a first-round selection. After finding a left tackle at No. 6, it would make sense for the Seahawks to use this pick on a difference-maker like Spiller. Running backs generally are not worth drafting this high, but Spiller has additional value due to his home run ability as a receiver and return man”.
He doesn’t have Clausen in the first round; call me crazy but I think a lot of teams would take Clausen if he fall to them.
–> McShay must have a personal vendetta against Clausen. That’s the only thing I can think of. Everyone else has Clausen high on their boards. Mel Kiper recently had Clausen as high as No. 4 overall.
I’m really convinced Sun Tan Man has a real agenda against Clausen, and is trying his hardest to get Clausen drafted in the second round.
Has Todd McShay, in the words of Robert Downing Jr., gone full retard?
Does McShay really get paid for his job? Or is he on to something with having three defensive players going in the top three and having Davis as the No. 1 OT and Bradford over Clausen?
–> He’s always been this bad. Let’s not forget that his first 2009 NFL Mock Draft featured Fili Moala going No. 1 overall. I think he spends too much time fake-baking.
Could you believe Todd McShay put Gerald McCoy at No. 1 in front of Ndamukong Suh? If the Rams went DT do you think that this would be at all an issue that the Rams would consider McCoy first?
–> I can’t say I’m surprised at all. A few days ago, Mike Mayock came out and explained why he ranked McCoy over Suh in his rankings. Now, Sun Tan Man decides to put McCoy No. 1. Sun Tan Man has copied Mayock before, but this was as blatant as ever.
It doesn’t even matter because the Rams can’t take a defensive tackle first overall anyway.
Todd McShay has no shame.
So, after less than 2 days of Mayock coming out against the consensus by putting Gerald McCoy slightly over Ndamukong Suh, Todd McShay has released a new mock draft.
And guess who is the new pick at No. 1? GERALD MCCOY!
–> I can’t say I’m surprised, though I’m kind of upset McShay hasn’t plagiarized me yet.
