This is the 2019 NFL Combine Stock Report for the tight ends. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

Keenen Brown, TE, Texas State
Keenen Brown didn’t post any great workout numbers at the combine, but he didn’t have any poor ones either. The biggest take-away was that Brown looked very good in the drills. Brown definitely helped himself in Indianapolis.

Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
Noah Fant tested better than almost every tight end in NFL Combine history. He ran a 4.50 at 6-4, 249, and he also posted a 10-foot-7 broad jump, a 39.5-inch vertical and a 6.81 3-cone time. Furthermore, Fant wasn’t just a workout warrior. He was tremendous in the drills as well. Given how well he did at the combine, it would be a surprise now if he didn’t go in the first round.

Zach Gentry, TE, Michigan
Zach Gentry tested poorly. He had some negative workout numbers – 4.90 40, 7.40 3-cone, 29.5-inch vertical – and he also looked very stiff in the drills. Gentry should have returned for another year at Michigan.

T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa
Noah Fant stole the show at the combine, but his teammate, T.J. Hockenson, also performed very well. His 40 wasn’t as good (4.70), but he had a 10-foot-3 broad jump, a 37.5-inch vertical and a 7.02 3-cone time. All of those numbers are great for a 251-pound tight end. Hockenson, the better player of the two Iowa tight ends, could be chosen in the top 20.

Foster Moreau, TE, LSU
Foster Moreau had a great athletic showing at the combine. He ran a 4.66 40 at 6-4, 253. He also had some great jumping numbers, hitting a 36.5-inch vertical and a 10-foot-1 broad jump.

Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State
Josh Oliver had a great Saturday at the combine. Not only did he post some solid workout numbers – 4.63 40-yard dash, 34-inch vertical – he also performed very well in the drills.

Irv Smith Jr., TE, Alabama
Irv Smith Jr. didn’t have a poor combine, but his workout numbers paled in comparison to what Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson produced. Smith had a 4.63 40-yard dash, which isn’t nearly as good as what Fant and Hockenson did, considering that Smith is just 6-2, 242. His other workout figures weren’t very good either; he had a 9-2 broad jump, a 32.5-inch vertical and a 7.32 3-cone time.

Kahale Warring, TE, San Diego State
Kahale Warring looked good in the drills after posting some nice numbers. He ran a 4.67 at 6-5, 252, which was pretty impressive. He also had some nice jumping numbers, posting a 36.5 in the vertical and a 10-2 in the broad.
