Why Are NFL Coaches Wearing Masks?

I used to think Adam Schefter was a cool guy. I’m not talking about “cool” as in someone who wore a leather jacket in high school and called freshmen he picked on “baboon.” By “cool,” I mean someone you could have a beer with and have a great time talking about football.

The pandemic changed everything, including my stance on Schefter. He went from a “cool” drinking buddy to a Coronabro Mask Karen.

Schefter has repeatedly tried to thwart the NFL’s plans to continue with their planned schedule. He criticized the league repeatedly for proceeding with free agency and the NFL Draft. He chided Roger Goodell for allowing NFL players to sign high-priced contract when people were losing their jobs as a result of the Coronavirus lockdowns. Schefter should’ve instead focused on the irresponsible law-makers who senselessly locked things down after the initial 15 days to flatten the curve. As we know now, everything should have re-opened at 100-percent capacity after those 15 days, save for the nursing homes where Andrew Cuomo, Phil Murphy and Tom Wolf’s eunuch purposely sent sick people.

Now that lockdowns are unnecessary, Schefter has focused his attention on mask wearing:

I don’t mind the initial tweet because Schefter was just reporting the news, that three coaches were fined for not wearing masks. The comment on his own re-tweet irked me, as Schefter was making sure people would be aware that there are more violaters of this ridiculous mandate. Given my recent experience with Mask Karens at Starbucks, it goes without saying that this hit close to home.

My question is, why are NFL coaches forced to wear masks? Everyone in the NFL is constantly tested for the virus. If everyone on the sidelines is healthy, what are the masks accomplishing? I won’t even get into the fact that masks don’t even stop the Coronavirus. As scientists have proven, Coronavirus particles are 0.1 microns, and masks don’t stop anything smaller than 0.3 microns. Masks quite literally do nothing besides give people carbon dioxide poisoning, which is a real thing, per the CDC.

There are two reasons why mask wearing is enforced: compliance and control. Government officials, particularly in blue jurisdictions, want to put their foot on the throats of citizens. They want obedience, even if there’s no good reason for it. We’ve seen plenty of politicians refrain from wearing masks, including Nancy Pelosi’s infamous hair salon incident. She will never get into trouble for that, but a healthy-looking mom watching her son play football outdoors is beaten and arrested for not wearing a mask:

Meanwhile, the only doctor in the world who gives his own second opinion on everything didn’t think it was necessary to wear a mask:

The good doctor here claimed he was drinking water, but I don’t see a bottle in his hands, do you? What a quack.

If the sainted Dr. Anthony Fauxci isn’t required to wear a mask, why are the rest of us forced to? Science has shown that it doesn’t make sense for anyone healthy to wear a mask. What that in mind, it certainly is completely illogical for NFL head coaches to wear masks, given that they and everyone else around them is not stricken with the virus.

If the NFL followed science, data and logic, it would stop with the mask nonsense. Lifting the unnecessary mask mandate would be a great first step to a return to normalcy. If the NFL does something first, other institutions will follow, and soon enough, no one will be required to wear a mask. Once that happens, no one will get sick from carbon dioxide poisoning anymore, and more importantly, we’ll once again have our freedom, which many of us took for granted prior to the Fauxvid-19 pandemic.
