Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

1. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Chargers. Age: 26.

J.K. Dobbins defied the odds by showing explosion last year following a torn Achilles. He has a dubious injury track record, but is an excellent running back otherwise.

2. Aaron Jones, RB, Vikings. Age: 30.

Aaron Jones had a great first season in Minnesota. It was shocking that he stayed healthy, given his extensive injury history.

3. Rico Dowdle, RB, Cowboys. Age: 27.

Rico Dowdle was underutilized early in the season. He was the best running back on Dallas’ roster, by far, and he showed an ability to be a quality receiver out of the backfield.

4. Alexander Mattison, RB, Raiders. Age: 27.

Alexander Mattison was the best of the Raider running backs last year, but that’s not saying much.

5. Elijah Mitchell, RB, 49ers. Age: 27.

Elijah Mitchell has been a quality backup running back in the past, but he missed his opportunity last year when Christian McCaffrey was hurt.

6. Khalil Herbert, RB, Bengals. Age: 27.

Khalil Herbert is a talented running back, but has never really been given the chance to be the lead back.

7. Javonte Williams, RB, Broncos. Age: 25.

Javonte Williams showed tons of potential to begin his career, but has never fully recovered from his ACL tear.

8. Ty Johnson, RB, Bills. Age: 27.

Ty Johnson is a nifty receiving threat out of the backfield.

9. Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs. Age: 30.

Kareem Hunt filled in well as Isiah Pacheco’s injury replacement last year, but he’s 30 now, so he doesn’t have much time remaining.

10. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns. Age: 29.

Nick Chubb looked like a broken running back last year. He should be better in 2025 after being another year removed from his devastating knee injury. However, he’s 29 now and may never be the same.

11. Najee Harris, RB, Steelers. Age: 27.

Najee Harris has remarkably rushed for 1,000 yards every season, but has been a disappointment as a former first-round pick.

12. Josh Kelley, RB, Titans. Age: 27.
13. D'Onta Foreman, RB, Browns. Age: 29.
14. JaMycal Hasty, RB, Patriots. Age: 29.
15. D'Ernest Johnson, RB, Jaguars. Age: 29.
16. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Raiders. Age: 32.
17. Kene Nwangwu, RB, Jets. Age: 27.
18. Mike Boone, RB, Panthers. Age: 30.
19. Patrick Taylor, RB, 49ers. Age: 27.
20. Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, Dolphins. Age: 29.
21. Trey Sermon, RB, Colts. Age: 26.
22. Chris Evans, RB, Bengals. Age: 27.
23. Chase Edmonds, RB, Buccaneers. Age: 29.
24. A.J. Dillon, RB, Packers. Age: 27.
25. Cam Akers, RB, Vikings. Age: 26.
26. Dare Ogunbowale, RB, Texans. Age: 31.
27. Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Eagles. Age: 26.
28. Samaje Perine, RB, Chiefs. Age: 29.
29. Raheem Mostert, RB, Dolphins. Age: 33.
30. Nyheim Hines, RB, Browns. Age: 28.
31. Travis Homer, RB, Bears. Age: 27.
32. Darrynton Evans, RB, Bears. Age: 27.
33. Avery Williams, RB, Falcons. Age: 30.
34. Trayveon Williams, RB, Bengals. Age: 27.
35. Jeremy McNichols, RB, Redskins. Age: 29.
