1. Josh Sweat, DE, Eagles. Age: 28.

Josh Sweat is a terrific pass rusher. He has logged 37 sacks over the past four years while playing in a rotation.

2. Malcolm Koonce, DE, Raiders. Age: 27.

Much was expected from Malcolm Koonce last season after he had eight sacks as a part-time player in 2023, but he missed the entire year with a knee injury. The potential is certainly there for Koonce to become a big-time edge rusher.

3. Chase Young, DE, Saints. Age: 26.

Chase Young has been a huge disappointment, but he still logged seven sacks last year. He’s still somehow just 26.

4. Brandon Graham, DE, Eagles. Age: 37.

Brandon Graham can still play on a high level despite his age, but he said he will retire.

5. Deatrich Wise, DE, Patriots. Age: 31.

Deatrich Wise used to be a quality edge rusher, but he’s declining at the age of 31.

6. DeMarcus Lawrence, DE, Cowboys. Age: 33.

DeMarcus Lawrence used to be a great edge rusher, but he’s past his prime. He played in only four games last year because of injury.

7. Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Dolphins. Age: 31.

Emmanuel Ogbah used to be a double-digit sack artist. He had six sacks last year. At age 31, he’ll continue to decline.

8. Dante Fowler, DE, Redskins. Age: 31.

Dante Fowler logged 11 sacks last year, but that stat is not indicative of how he played. Fowler was just solid, and he figures to decline now that he’s 31.

9. Charles Omenihu, DE, Chiefs. Age: 28.

Charles Omenihu wasn’t quite the same last year when he returned from his torn ACL. He should bounce back in 2025.

10. Tershawn Wharton, DE, Chiefs. Age: 27.

Tershawn Wharton is an undersized player who struggles against the run. However, he’s a dangerous pass rusher who produced seven sacks last year.

11. Joseph Ossai, DE, Bengals. Age: 25.

Joseph Assai is a solid run defender who registered five sacks last year.

12. K'Lavon Chaisson, DE, Raiders. Age: 26.
13. Solomon Thomas, DE, Jets. Age: 29.
14. Payton Turner, DE, Saints. Age: 26.
15. Chauncey Golston, DE, Cowboys. Age: 27.
16. Carl Lawson, DE, Cowboys. Age: 30.
17. Da'shawn Hand, DE, Dolphins. Age: 29.
18. Dayo Odeyingbo, DE, Colts. Age: 25.
19. Kentavius Street, DE, Falcons. Age: 29.
20. James Smith-Williams, DE, Falcons. Age: 28.
21. Demone Harris, DE, Falcons. Age: 29.
22. L.J. Collier, DE, Cardinals. Age: 29.
23. Cameron Sample, DE, Bengals. Age: 25.
24. William Gholston, DE, Buccaneers. Age: 34.
25. Morgan Fox, DE, Chargers. Age: 30.
26. Jonathan Bullard, DE, Vikings. Age: 31.
27. Derek Barnett, DE, Texans. Age: 29.
28. Mario Edwards, DE, Texans. Age: 31.
29. John Cominsky, DE, Lions. Age: 29.
