Signed with Cardinals (4 years, $76.4 million)
Josh Sweat is a terrific pass rusher. He has logged 37 sacks over the past four years while playing in a rotation.

Re-signed with Raiders (1 year, $12 million)
Much was expected from Malcolm Koonce last season after he had eight sacks as a part-time player in 2023, but he missed the entire year with a knee injury. The potential is certainly there for Koonce to become a big-time edge rusher.

Signed with Bills (1 year, $12.6 million)
Joey Bosa is one of the most talented edge rushers in the NFL, but he has major durability issues. He’s barely been on the field the past three years.

Za’Darius Smith was just a one-year rental for the Lions to compensate for the Aidan Hutchinson injury.

Brandon Graham can still play on a high level despite his age, but he said he will retire.

Re-signed with Saints (3 years)
Chase Young has been a huge disappointment, but he still logged seven sacks last year. He’s still somehow just 26.

Signed with Redskins (1 year)
Deatrich Wise used to be a quality edge rusher, but he’s declining at the age of 31.

Signed with Patriots (1 year, $5 million)
K’Lavon Chaisson hadn’t done much throughout his career, but he had five sacks last year.

Signed with Seahawks (3 years, $42 million)
DeMarcus Lawrence used to be a great edge rusher, but he’s past his prime. He played in only four games last year because of injury.

Signed with Giants
Chauncey Golston improved as a pass rusher last year, notching six sacks.

Emmanuel Ogbah used to be a double-digit sack artist. He had six sacks last year. At age 31, he’ll continue to decline.

Signed with Bears
Dayo Odeyingbo had a down 2024 season, but logged 12 sacks the prior year.

Signed with Falcons (2 years, $8.5 million)
Morgan Fox has averaged slightly more than five sacks over the past three years.

Signed with Cowboys (1 year, $8 million)
Dante Fowler logged 11 sacks last year, but that stat is not indicative of how he played. Fowler was just solid, and he figures to decline now that he’s 31.

Re-signed with Chiefs (1 year, $7 million)
Charles Omenihu wasn’t quite the same last year when he returned from his torn ACL. He should bounce back in 2025.

Signed with Panthers (3 years, $54 million)
Tershawn Wharton is an undersized player who struggles against the run. However, he’s a dangerous pass rusher who produced seven sacks last year.

Preston Smith struggled last season, but is only a year removed from logging nine sacks. He could be finished as a viable player, however.

DeMarcus Walker is a Jack-of-all-trades, master-of-nothing defensive lineman who can be a decent rotational player for another year or two.

Re-signed with Bengals (1 year, $7 million)
Joseph Assai is a solid run defender who registered five sacks last year.
