2022 Fantasy Football Rankings - Wide Receivers (May 29):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-40 | 41-60 | 61-100

Other Positions: QB | RB | TE

  1. D.K. Metcalf D.K. Metcalf, WR, Seahawks. Bye: 0.

D.K. Metcalf had a down year in 2021. Russell Wilson was hurt, but Metcalf struggled before then. However, Metcalf caught fire at the end of the season, so perhaps that would’ve helped kickstart his 2022 campaign. Wilson, however, was traded, so Metcalf’s outlook isn’t nearly

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 76 catches. 1,060 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 164.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 240.

  2. DeAndre Hopkins DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Cardinals. Bye: 0. Fantasy Football PPR Plus

DeAndre Hopkins was ranked No. 2 here last year, yet didn’t even log a single 100-yard game. Hopkins got hurt early in the year and never recovered. He should revert back to top form in 2022, but a six-game suspension is something you’ll have to endure.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 69 catches. 870 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 163.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 232.

  3. Gabriel Davis, WR, Bills. Bye: 0.

It’s unclear why the Bills used Emmanuel Sanders over Gabriel Davis early in the season. Perhaps the coaching staff will come to their senses in 2022 after Davis ended the year well.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 72 catches. 1,090 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 161.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 233.

  4. Devonta Smith, WR, Eagles. Bye: 0.

Devonta Smith had an inconsistent rookie season, but only because Jalen Hurts was inconsistent as well. He showed some brilliant flashes at times and should only improve with more experience.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 72 catches. 1,030 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 160.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 232.

  5. Allen Robinson, WR, Rams. Bye: 0.

Allen Robinson must have had some undisclosed injury last year. How else would you explain his decline from 1,250 to around 400 receiving yards? Robinson is still in his 20s, so I expect to bounce back in 2022, especially with Matthew Stafford.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 88 catches. 1,060 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 158.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 246.

  6. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings. Bye: 0.

Adam Thielen has accumulated 24 touchdowns in the past couple of years despite missing five games in that span. Imagine how he’d perform if he had a great quarterback throwing to him. Then again, he could regress to the mean as far as touchdown scoring is concerned. His age (32) is becoming a concern.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 79 catches. 930 yards. 9 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 157.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 236.

  7. Garrett Wilson, WR, Jets. Bye: 0.

I’d like Garrett Wilson a lot more if he wasn’t in a crowded receiving corps. Wilson, however, profiles as an Odell Beckham Jr. type, so the big upside exists.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 68 catches. 960 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 157.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 225.

  8. Amari Cooper, WR, Browns. Bye: 0.

Amari Cooper didn’t have positive chemistry with Dak Prescott this past season, struggling to get to 800 yards. Perhaps he’ll have a better rapport with Deshaun Watson.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 79 catches. 1,040 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 156.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 235.

  9. Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers. Bye: 0.

Brandon Aiyuk struggled to start the year, even getting benched at one point. However, Aiyuk won back Kyle Shanahan’s confidence and ended the year on a strong note. This should carry over into 2022.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 75 catches. 1,040 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 156.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 231.

  10. Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Colts. Bye: 0.

Michael Pittman exploded in his second season, doubling up his receptions and yardage totals from his rookie year. He’ll get even better in his third season with Matt Ryan at the helm.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 88 catches. 1,090 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 155.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 243.

  11. Marquise Brown, WR, Cardinals. Bye: 0.

Marquise Brown’s yards per catch decreased in his third year, but only because he handled a different role in the offense. His receptions rose to nearly triple digits despite missing a game. His numbers should be similar in Arizona.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 90 catches. 1,020 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 154.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 244.

  12. Michael Thomas Michael Thomas, WR, Saints. Bye: 0.

Michael Thomas will be back in 2022, but he won’t be catching passes from Drew Brees anymore. His production with Jameis Winston figures to be lackluster.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 82 catches. 950 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 153.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 235.

  13. Drake London, WR, Falcons. Bye: 0.

Teams view Drake London as the next Mike Evans. Marcus Mariota isn’t the most ideal quarterback for London to have, but it’s not like he’s terrible. London is also the undisputed No. 1 receiver on the Atlanta roster.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 65 catches. 920 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 153.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 218.

  14. Darnell Mooney, WR, Bears. Bye: 0.

Darnell Mooney quietly became Chicago’s No. 1 receiver this past season, supplanting Allen Robinson in just his second year. It’s fair to expect Mooney to continue to improve, especially with Justin Fields having more experience.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 83 catches. 1,060 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 152.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 235.

  15. Tim Patrick, WR, Broncos. Bye: 11.

Tim Patrick made a big leap in his fourth season, earning a big contract in the process. He’ll be a great fantasy producer with Russell Wilson now at quarterback.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 62 catches. 890 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 151.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 213.

  16. Rashod Bateman, WR, Ravens. Bye: 0.

Rashod Bateman missed the first five weeks of the season, but then had some solid performances once he returned to action. He should improve in his second season, especially now that he’s the No. 1 receiver.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 70 catches. 860 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 148.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 218.

  17. Brandin Cooks, WR, Texans. Bye: 0.

Brandin Cooks had some terrific performances last year despite dreadful quarterbacking. He crossed 1,000 receiving yards for the sixth time in seven years. The Texans plan on giving Davis Mills one more shot, which isn’t good for Cooks’ outlook.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 85 catches. 1,020 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 148.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 233.

  18. Tyler Lockett, WR, Seahawks. Bye: 0.

D.K. Metcalf out-produced Tyler Lockett in 2020, but the opposite occurred this past season. Lockett’s production will plummet because Russell Wilson left Seattle.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 76 catches. 1,020 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 148.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 224.

  19. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Chiefs. Bye: 0.

JuJu Smith-Schuster continued to regress in 2021. It’s unclear what has happened to him, but he’s not nearly the same receiver he was as a 20-year-old rookie. Perhaps going to Kansas City will revive his career.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 72 catches. 800 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 147.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 219.

  20. Elijah Moore, WR, Jets. Bye: 0.

Elijah Moore showed great strides during his rookie season, quickly becoming the team’s No. 1 receiver. He was barely productive before Week 8, which is when he took off before getting hurt at the end of the year. He’s the No. 2 now in the wake of Garrett Wilson, but he’ll see lighter coverage.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 70 catches. 900 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 147.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 217.
