NFL Team Logo for Saints New Orleans Saints: John Mateer, QB, Oklahoma Image for OU

The Saints used a second-round pick on Tyler Shough, but if they have the No. 1 or 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Shough most likely will have performed poorly. Either way, the Saints wouldn’t pass on a generational quarterback.

John Mateer is very accurate and mobile. Charlie Campbell’s sources compare Mateer to Baker Mayfield.

Pick change; previously LaNorris Sellers, QB

NFL Team Logo for Titans Tennessee Titans: Keldric Faulk, DE, Auburn Image for Aub

The Titans have a poor defense. They lost Harold Landry, so they’ll need to replace him.

Keldric Faulk has been a monster for Auburn. He has a great mix of power and speed on the edge.

Pick change; previously T.J. Parker, DE

NFL Team Logo for Dolphins Miami Dolphins: LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina Image for

The Dolphins looked like the worst team in the NFL in Week 1, and part of that was Tua Tagovailoa’s incompetence. I don’t know if it’s because of all the concussions he’s suffered over the years, but Tagovailoa didn’t look like a viable player in the NFL. Perhaps he’ll turn things around, but it doesn’t seem as though he will. Miami will likely have to draft a new franchise quarterback.

LaNorris Sellers has a huge skill set and could be drafted earlier than this if he lives up to his potential.

Pick change; previously John Mateer, QB

NFL Team Logo for Panthers Carolina Panthers: T.J. Parker, DE, Clemson Image for Clem

The Panthers have severe issues generating pressure on the quarterback. They need help at defensive tackle and the edge rush.

T.J. Parker had a breakout sophomore campaign. He has impressive instincts and was very productive.

Pick change; previously Keldric Faulk, DE

NFL Team Logo for Cowboys Dallas Cowboys: Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State Image for OSU

The Cowboys gave up 450 passing yards to Russell Wilson and then allowed Caleb Williams to have the best performance of his career. Dallas’ miserable defense needs help at every level.

Caleb Downs projects as one of the top play-making safeties in the NFL in several years.

Pick change; previously Jeremiyah Love, RB

NFL Team Logo for Bengals Cincinnati Bengals: Peter Woods, DT, Clemson Image for Clem

The Bengals have severe issues throughout their defense, so taking the best player on that side of the ball makes sense.

Peter Woods is a disruptive interior lineman.

NFL Team Logo for Giants New York Giants: Domani Jackson, CB, Alabama Image for ALA

The Giants have some poor play in the secondary that they’ll need to address soon.

Domani Jackson had a disappointing start to his collegiate career, but has the upside to meet expectations.

NFL Team Logo for Jets New York Jets: Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU Image for LSU

The Jets obviously need a quarterback. Justin Fields had a great Week 1, but completed only three passes against the Bills.

Garrett Nussmeier has great arm talent and has made the most out of his opportunity replacing Jayden Daniels.

NFL Team Logo for Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah Image for

The Steelers can’t block, so they may try to resolve that problem with this pick.

Spencer Fano needs to fill out his frame, but he was stationed at left tackle as a freshman.

Pick change; previously Caleb Downs, S

NFL Team Logo for Patriots New England Patriots: Xavier Chaplin, OT, Auburn Image for Aub

New England’s offensive line is in rough shape. Lots of help is needed to protect Drake Maye. We just saw two teams – Jets, Saints – draft tackles in consecutive years, and New England could do the same.

Xavier Chaplin has massive size and great movement skills for such a big offensive lineman.

NFL Team Logo for Texans Houston Texans: Isaiah World, OT, Oregon Image for ORE

The Texans need to make sure that C.J. Stroud’s blocking is as good as possible.

Isaiah World is a lengthy tackle with good power.

Pick change; previously Kayden Proctor, OT

NFL Team Logo for Browns Cleveland Browns: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana Image for IND

The Browns will give Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders a shot at some point. If they both fail, they’ll look to select a quarterback with one of their two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Fernando Mendoza has great size, arm strength, and accuracy. However, he’s raw because the game is too fast for him and he has poor pocket presence as a result.

Pick change; previously Isaiah World, OT

NFL Team Logo for Raiders Las Vegas Raiders: Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson Image for Clem

The Raiders have had issues in their secondary for many moons. It’s time for that to change.

The younger brother of A.J. Terrell, Avieon Terrell is a very instinctive cornerback who plays bigger than his 5-foot-11 size.

Pick change; previously Mansoor Delane, CB

NFL Team Logo for Bears Chicago Bears: Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU Image for LSU

Mansoor Delane is very instinctive with nice size.

Pick change; previously Avieon Terrell, CB

NFL Team Logo for Rams Los Angeles Rams: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State Image for ArizS

Davante Adams is 33, while Cooper Kupp is gone. The Rams need a receiver for the future.

Jordyn Tyson is a speedy, explosive receiver with quality size.

Pick change; previously Jordyn Tyson, WR

NFL Team Logo for Cardinals Arizona Cardinals: Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee Image for UT

Even if Will Johnson pans out, the Cardinals will need another cornerback to go with him and Garrett Williams.

Jermod McCoy is an instinctive cornerback who tackles well.
