I've been running WalterFootball.com for nearly 27 years, and it's always been my goal to offer the best possible NFL content for free. We've charged for an ad-free experience, but WalterFootball.com has otherwise been completely free to use throughout the website's existence.
Unfortunately, things have changed. We always depended on high Google search results to draw in new readers. But AI-driven search results have caused our Google search traffic to drop. Also, given the state of the economy, ad rates have plummeted as well.
To keep the website afloat, we've had to pivot to a partial paywall system. Some of the content on this website will still be free, but some of it will also be behind a paywall, most notably picks, Rounds 2-7 of our mock drafts, NFL futures, and several other features.
But in addition to this new system, we're going to reveal several new features, including a Discord where our live picks will be posted and some new interactive NFL-based games that we will be releasing in the coming months.
This membership will also give you an ad-free experience, so you won't be bogged down at all by ads. The site will be very fast, and I believe you'll be extremely happy with the experience.
I know some of you may be upset by this, but we really had no alternative to keep the website running as it is. But I believe that if you sign up, you'll have a tremendous experience on the site.
Those who were already paying $7.99 per month for the ad-free experience will be grandfathered into that price, so your subscription will be unchanged.
However, the annual price is actually cheaper than your current rate, so you may want to switch to that option.
