  1. Rashawn Jackson, Virginia
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 239.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
    Combine 40 Time: 4.73.
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

2/6/09: Didn’t do much stat-wise, logging just 16 carries and 12 catches. However, he was charged with felony in connection with a burglary. Let’s hope the dollar amount he stole eclipsed his total touches in 2008.

7/26/08: One of the top blockers in the 2010 class, Rashawn Jackson is good at getting tough yards and catching the ball out of the backfield.

  2. John Conner, Kentucky
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 241.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
    Combine 40 Time: 4.72.
    Benchx225: 24. Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

10/10/09: Has only six carries in 2009. Too busy sending a robot back through time to prevent the future.

7/26/08: A solid blocker who caught seven passes out of the backfield as a sophomore. He should get more looks there now that Steve Johnson, Keenan Burton and Jacob Tamme are off to the NFL.

  3. Manase Tonga, BYU
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 245.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.74.
    Combine 40 Time: 4.85.
    Pro Day 40 Time: 4.72.
    Benchx225: 19. Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

10/10/09: Manase Tonga is maintaining a mere 3.0 YPC, but also has nine receptions for 74 yards through five games.

  4. Willie Rose, Florida Atlantic
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 227.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.67.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

2/6/09: Willie Rose saw his reception total drop from 38 to 23 last season. He rushed for 307 yards and a score.

7/26/08: A very effective blocker who gained 5.3 yards per carry and caught 38 passes in 2007.

  5. Matt Clapp, Oklahoma
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 234.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.69.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

2/6/09: Made the All-Big XII First Team thanks to his outstanding blocking skills. Matt Clapp carried the ball just seven times. He caught nine passes for 92 yards and three scores.

  6. Cory Jackson, Maryland
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 245.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.73.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

  7. Bobby McClintock, Portland State
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 235.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.74.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

2/6/09: Bobby McClintock finished his junior campaign with 457 rushing yards and six touchdowns. More impressively, he caught 34 passes for 287 more yards.

  8. Richie Brockel, Boise State
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 248.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.72.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

2/6/09: Caught the ball 10 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

7/26/08: Played fullback and tight end as a sophomore for Boise State. Richie Brockel had 12 catches for 104 yards and four touchdowns in 2007.

  9. James Aldridge, Notre Dame
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 222.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.44.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.

10/10/09: Has missed a lot of time this year with a shoulder injury.

2/6/09: Really struggled as a junior. James Aldridge rushed for 357 yards and three scores on a 3.9 YPC.

7/25/08: Don’t pay much attention to James Aldridge’s 2007 stats (121 carries, 463 yards, 0 TDs, 3.8 YPC), as he was hindered by poor blocking up front. Against the two Michigan schools, Aldridge totaled 155 yards on just 28 rushes. Aldridge has an excellent 40 at his size, though he’s not a threat to catch the ball out of the backfield.

  10. Jack Corcoran, Rutgers
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 230.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.67.
    Combine 40 Time: .
    Benchx225: . Vertical: . Broad: .
    Projected Round (2010): FA.

10/10/09: Strictly a blocker; only one touch through four games.
