Solid Starter

T.J. Parker, DE, Clemson – Round 2

The Bills were in need of more pass rush talent, and they aggressively pursued upgrades in the 2026 offseason. After signing veteran Bradley Chubb, Buffalo used their first selection in the 2026 NFL Draft to add another talent with Parker. With Greg Rousseau and Chubb, Parker will not be a plug-and-play starter, but over time, he could emerge as a starter to replace Parker or Chubb.

For the NFL, Parker is a power edge defender who has serious strength for his size. In the pass rush, Parker is a power rusher with a vigorous bull rush to get a push into the pocket. Parker has shock in his hands and plays with good leverage to get underneath the pads of blockers. Parker can roll tackles back as well with a long arm on the inside while he works upfield. Parker has some functional quickness, but he is not a true speed rusher.

In the ground game, Parker is a rock-solid defender. He owns the c-gap and is tremendous at setting the edge. Parker is tough to shed the block and pursue the ball carrier. While Parker is not a huge end, he plays like one as a run defender and will be an asset as a run defender in the NFL.

Buffalo has tried to add some edge talent on day two of the draft under general manager Brandon Beane with the selections of players like A.J. Epenesa, Carlos Basham, and Landon Jackson. I think Parker could break that disappointing streak and become a solid starter for Buffalo to be the long-term replacement for Chubb.

Most Likely To Bust

Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State – Round 2

Igbinosun is a gritty cornerback who fights hard and really battles receivers. At Ohio State, he was a solid player but not a shut-down cover corner who could run the route and prevent separation. I think Igbinosun is going to have a hard time running with pro receivers, as high-speed and twitchy route-runners could give him problems. I could see Igbinosun topping out as a backup corner and special teams contributor. That would be a disappointing result for a second-round pick, as second-rounders are projected to develop into solid starters.

Potential Boom Pick

NONE

The Bills traded down to select T.J. Parker, and I think Buffalo did a nice job of drafting on day three. I think Jude Bowry, Skyler Bell, Jalon Kilgore, and Zane Durant could all be good depth players with the potential to be day three steals. However, I do not see a real boom pick candidate from the Bills’ 2026 draft class.

2025: Maxwell Hairston, WR
2024: Keon Coleman, WR

2013: Marquise Goodwin, WR

Future Depth Player

Jude Bowry, OT, Boston College – Round 4

The Bills have two good veteran starters at offensive tackle in Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown. They are solid and dependable veterans who should continue to provide good play in 2026. Dawkins is getting older, and taking Bowry in the fourth round was a smart move. Bowry was a good pass protector at left tackle for Boston College, and he has quality size, quickness, and athleticism. If Dawkins or Brown gets injured, Bowry could be a good rotational player to fill in. He has the skill set and versatility to be a swing tackle backup and has experience in a pro-style offense. Bowry could be blocked from being a starter, but he could be a very good depth player for Buffalo.

2025: Landon Jackson, DE
2024: Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, C
2023: Nick Broeker, G/C

2014: Seantrel Henderson, OT
2013: Duke Williams, S
