Every game in order, Week 1 first. Opp. rank = where I had the opponent in my power rankings in effect at kickoff. Recaps are mine, word for word.

Opponent's group in my power rankings at kickoff: Group A Group B Group C Group D Group F

Baltimore Ravens

Week 1Sun, Sep 13 at Indianapolis Colts Opp. rank #20Group C
W 41-23 Line -3.5 ATS: Covered (+14.5)

Ravens 41, COLTS 23 (IND +3.5). The Ravens dominated this game with so many big plays from the three primary players. This was a 28-6 game when the Colts did stuff in garbage time. 506-251 BAL, 7.9-4.7 BAL

Week 2Sun, Sep 20 vs. New Orleans Saints Opp. rank #23Group D
L 17-24 Line -8.5 ATS: Did not cover (-15.5)

Saints 24, RAVENS 17 (BAL -8.5). The Ravens got out to an early double-digit lead and could have led by more if they didn't make mistakes, but they fell asleep at the wheel in the second half, allowing Tyler Shough to mount a great comeback. 312-298 BAL, 5.6-4.7 BAL

Week 3Sun, Sep 27 vs. Dallas Cowboys (neutral) Opp. rank #16Group C
W 34-31 Line -3 ATS: Push (0)

Ravens 34, Cowboys 31 (DAL +3). This was a back-and-forth game where the Cowboys went up 10, and then the Ravens were up 11. They exchanged leads in the fourth quarter but this game was tied at 31 with seven seconds remaining. Lamar Jackson hit Zay Flowers for 26 yards, setting up Tyler Loop for a 56-yard kick that went through. 415-378 DAL, 6.5-5.8 BAL

Week 4Sun, Oct 4 vs. Tennessee Titans Opp. rank #31Group F
W 24-18 Line -11.5 ATS: Did not cover (-5.5)

RAVENS 24, Titans 18 (BAL -11.5). The Ravens were up 24-7 at halftime, as the Titans had no answer for Lamar Jackson. Jackson got hurt right before halftime, and the Ravens didn't score a single time in the second half. The Titans got a garbage-time back-door cover at the end. 384-297 BAL, 6.3-5.1 BAL

Week 5Sun, Oct 11 at Atlanta Falcons Opp. rank #15Group C
W 30-23 Line +3.5 ATS: Covered (+10.5)

Ravens 30, FALCONS 23 (ATL -3.5). The Falcons led for most of the game because of Mark Andrews' mistakes, but Tyler Huntley caught fire at the end of the game leading drives to tie at the end of regulation and in overtime to win it. Michael Penix got hurt at the end. 391-367 BAL, 5.7-5.5 ATL

Cleveland Browns

Week 1Sun, Sep 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars Opp. rank #10Group B
L 10-34 Line +8.5 ATS: Did not cover (-15.5)

JAGUARS 34, Browns 10 (JAX -8.5). Deshaun Watson was a disaster in this game with many turnovers. The Jaguars took advantage of all the errors. Cleveland's yardage came in garbage time. 360-272 JAX, 6.4-5.6 JAX

Week 2Sun, Sep 20 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Opp. rank #19Group C
W 23-19 Line +8.5 ATS: Covered (+12.5)

Browns 23, BUCCANEERS 19 (TB -8.5). Baker Mayfield made many terrible throws in this game. One of his few good ones gave the Buccaneers a 16-6 lead, but Tampa Bay couldn't stop the Browns at all late in the game. A 2-and-a-half thunderstorm delayed the inevitable. 313-267 TB, 5.0-4.9 TB

Week 3Sun, Sep 27 vs. Carolina Panthers Opp. rank #20Group D
W 21-18 Line +2.5 ATS: Covered (+5.5)

BROWNS 21, Panthers 18 (CLE +2.5). The Panthers were the better team in this game, but squandered some drives by failing on fourth down, giving the Browns points on one occasion. The Panthers took an 18-13 lead late in the game and sealed the victory, but a roughing-the-passer penalty helped the Browns get a win. 360-259 CAR, 4.9-4.1 CAR

Week 4Thu, Oct 1 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Opp. rank #22Group D
W 27-24 Line +3 ATS: Covered (+6)

BROWNS 27, Steelers 24 (CLE +3). The Steelers went up 7-0, but the Browns dominated most of the game until late when there was a Deshaun Watson interception. The Steelers tied the game, but Watson came up big in the clutch. 372-361 CLE, 6.0-5.6 CLE

Week 5Sun, Oct 11 at New York Jets Opp. rank #23Group D
L 12-17 Line +1.5 ATS: Did not cover (-3.5)

JETS 17, Browns 12 (NYJ -1.5). The Jets led by one or four for most of the game, but allowed a long touchdown to Denzel Boston. The Browns gave them a short field on a botched snap that turned into a touchdown, and then New York's pass rush hounded Deshaun Watson. 276-198 NYJ, 4.2-3.0 NYJ
