Central Florida (1-1) at Boston College (1-1)
Line: Boston College by 10.5.

Saturday, 1:00 ET

I was really impressed in Central Florida’s last game with their rush defense and toughness against South Florida. They also have a very consistent offensive line led by left tackle Patrick Brown. They have several playmakers on defense, and I think the public is living in the past with Boston College’s offense, because they don’t have one without Matt Ryan. They put up a thrilling 21 points against Kent State and 19 against Georgia Tech. I love UCF to cover here on the road.

Prediction: Boston College 27, Central Florida 23
Central Florida +10.5 (1 Unit) — Incorrect; -$110
Boston College 34, Central Florida 7

Wyoming (2-1) at BYU (3-0)
Line: BYU by 28.

Saturday, 3:00 ET

Max Hall has this BYU offense clicking on all cylinders this season as they recently obliterated UCLA 59-0. That’s extremely impressive; especially considering Tennessee couldn’t get the job done. I also love the edge we have here with trends. Wyoming is 0-8-1 ATS against teams with winning records, and 0-5 ATS in their last five road matchups.

Prediction: BYU 45, Wyoming 13
BYU -28 (1 Unit) — Correct; +$100
BYU 44, Wyoming 0

Arizona (2-1) at UCLA (1-1)
Line: Arizona by 3.

Saturday, 3:00 ET

UCLA simply got lucky against Tennessee at home. That game was a total fluke and it should never have happened. I like Willie Tuitama on the road here for the Wildcats and Nic Grigsby to have a big game.

Prediction: Arizona 31, UCLA 17
Arizona -3 (1 Unit) — Correct; +$100
Arizona 31, UCLA 10

UL Monroe (1-2) at Tulane (0-2)
Line: Tulane by 6.

Saturday, 3:00 ET

Don’t mistake Tulane as a bad team. They played Alabama and Eastern Carolina both extremely tough, nearly pulling off shocking upsets. This team is hungry for a win at home and has something to prove. They are battle tested and desperate for a win, so I love the psychological edge in this game.

Prediction: Tulane 31, UL Monroe 20
Tulane -6 (2 Units) — Correct; +$200
Tulane 24, UL Monroe 10

Florida (2-0) at Tennessee (1-1)
Line: Florida by 8.

Saturday, 3:30 ET

The public is pounding Tim Tebow hard in this matchup after Tennessee laid an egg on the road against a pathetic UCLA squad, but make no mistake about it, this team is simply much better in Neyland. Tebow’s play hasn’t impressed me this season and I like Tennessee’s defense to force some turnovers and really contain the option. I have concerns about QB Jonathan Crompton being able to move the ball, but I also just like Tennessee’s defense too much to cover at home.

Prediction: Florida 24, Tennessee 17
Tennessee +8 (1 Unit) — Incorrect; -$110
Florida 30, Tennessee 6

Boise State (2-0) at Oregon (3-0)
Line: Oregon by 10.

Saturday, 3:30 ET

There are a lot of edges we have at work in this game. First, let’s discuss the game. Oregon has one of the most underrated defenses in the country. They are going to shut down Boise’s passing attack. They have speed on defense to neutralize the run. Autzen Stadium is an extremely tough place to play, as the Ducks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against WAC teams. They deserve much more than a 3-point edge being at home in this very loud stadium. Boise State really doesn’t have much talent, and they can only put up 20 points against Bowling Green’s offense on their own blue turf. Oregon wins in a route.

Prediction: Oregon 41, Boise State 22
Oregon -10 (2 Units) — Incorrect; -$220
Boise State 37, Oregon 32

Wake Forest (2-0) at Florida State (2-0)
Line: Florida State by 5.

Saturday, 7:00 ET

Florida State has destroyed two creampuffs in a row; 2-0 is thus an irrelevant statistic at this point. Wake Forest is a team that has some athleticism on defense led by one of the best linebackers in the country in Aaron Curry. I also like corner Alphonso Smith to make some big plays in this game against the inexperienced Christian Ponder. If push comes to shove down the stretch, I have my money on Wake kicker Sam Swank, the best one in the college game. He has ice running in his veins. I like Wake to make a huge statement in the ACC on the road with their leadership, defense and special teams.

Prediction: Wake Forest 24, Florida State 20
Wake Forest +170 (1 Unit) — Correct; +$170
Wake Forest 12, Florida State 3

Rice (2-1) at Texas (2-0)
Line: Texas by 30.

Saturday, 7:00 ET

Rice is getting really disrespected with this line. I understand Texas is playing at home against Conference USA, but Rice has two big playmakers. QB Chase Clement and WR Jarrett Dillard are going to make things happen on Saturday. Clement is efficient and athletic. Rice should put up enough points to cover. Texas’ defense is untested at this point, and I think Rice really surprises them with their athleticism on offense.

Prediction: Texas 47, Rice 24
Rice +30 (3 Units – Pick of the Week) — Incorrect; -$330
Texas 52, Rice 10

LSU (2-0) at Auburn (3-0)
Line: LSU by 2.5.
Total: 38.

Saturday, 7:45 ET

I really like LSU’s offense against Auburn in this matchup, and that’s exactly where the edge is in terms of a matchup. Charles Scott is the X-Factor. Auburn’s rushing attack will be ineffective against LSU’s vaunted defense. Neither quarterback will play well, as this is going to be a low scoring affair. The Under in this matchup is 4-0 in the last four meetings. I suggest a parlay of taking LSU and the Under.

Prediction: LSU 16, Auburn 10
LSU -2.5 (1 Unit) — Correct; +$100
Under 38 (2 Units) — Incorrect; -$220
LSU 26, Auburn 21
