First 2025 NFL Mock Draft

*** This was our original 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Many things have changed, but we had Will Campbell going to the Patriots at No. 4. Follow @walterfootball for NFL Draft updates. ***
  1. Denver Broncos Denver Broncos: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado Colorado
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Bo Nix, QB

The Broncos are drafting Bo Nix in my 2024 NFL Mock Draft, but if they are so bad in 2024 that they land the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, they’ll almost certainly repeat what the Cardinals did when Arizona gave up on Josh Rosen after one year by drafting Kyler Murray.

Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a top-five pick.

  2. New York Giants New York Giants: Carson Beck, QB, Georgia Georgia
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Malik Nabers, WR

The Giants may not be ready to draft a quarterback this year, but they certainly will be next April if they have the second-overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Carson Beck has a huge arm, plus size, and quality accuracy.

  3. Arizona Cardinals Arizona Cardinals: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State Penn State
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Rome Odunze, WR; Chop Robinson, DE; Darius Robinson, DT

Arizona was always expected to pass on a quarterback in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, but if Kyler Murray continues to suffer injuries, the Cardinals may not have a choice, especially if they have the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Drew Allar has a huge arm and a large frame, and he knows how to apply touch and throwing angles.

  4. New England Patriots New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT, LSU LSU
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Drake Maye, QB

The Patriots will be drafting their new franchise quarterback at No. 3 overall this Thursday. Now, it’s time to protect him.

  5. Carolina Panthers Carolina Panthers: Harold Perkins, DE, LSU LSU
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): None

Brian Burns is gone, so the Panthers will need to find a dominant pass rusher to replace him.

  6. Tennessee Titans Tennessee Titans: Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas Texas
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Joe Alt, OT

The Titans are going to give Will Levis a chance next year. If he fails, Tennessee could target a franchise quarterback at this spot.

Quinn Ewers has a big arm, but must improve his accuracy.

  7. Minnesota Vikings Arizona Cardinals: Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado Colorado
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Rome Odunze, WR; Chop Robinson, DE; Darius Robinson, DT

2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Taliese Fuaga, G/OT

The Seahawks have lacked a great pass rush for quite some time. They can rectify that with this pick.

Mykel Williams has an incredible first step and was terrific down the stretch for Georgia as a freshman.

  9. New Orleans Saints New Orleans Saints: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame Notre Dame
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Olu Fashanu, OT

  12. Los Angeles Chargers Los Angeles Chargers: Abdul Carter, DE/OLB, Penn State Penn State
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Marvin Harrison Jr., WR

Abdul Carter has been described as a missile as a pass rusher.

  13. Pittsburgh Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers: Walter Nolen, DE/DT, Texas A&M Texas A&M
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Graham Barton, C/G

Walter Nolen was a highly recruited player who has shown a ton of upside.

  14. Las Vegas Raiders Las Vegas Raiders: Trey Zuhn, OT, Texas A&M Texas A&M
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Michael Penix, QB

Beaux Collins has potential as a mismatch receiver.

  16. Dallas Cowboys Dallas Cowboys: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan Michigan
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Troy Fautanu, OT/G

The Cowboys have a great edge rush, but they could add talent to the middle of the defensive line.

Mason Graham is a relentless player with a non-stop motor.

  17. Jacksonville Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia Georgia
2024 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/22): Quinyon Mitchell, CB

The Jaguars made Jake Browning look like Joe Montana. Their secondary needs help.

A quarterback in high school, Malaki Starks is a star in the making, according to Charlie Campbell’s sources.
