2025 NFL Draft Stock Up

Jordan Burch, DE, Oregon

Burch is a bit of a love/hate prospect when speaking to sources from around the league. Everyone agrees that Burch has an outstanding skill set with huge upside, and some think he is an ascending player. Others hate the inconsistency and the lack of domination, despite his great physical talent, for many years at South Carolina and Oregon. Burch could explode in the pre-draft workouts, but there are multiple team sources that think he could go late in the first round this April.

Jah Joyner, DE, Minnesota

Joyner did not get a ton of media hype at the Senior Bowl, but he had some really good practices showing dangerous speed off the edge. The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder has some talent and length, but Joyner is inconsistent and lacks physicality in run defense. Thus, they see him as more of a designated pass rusher. He lacks some speed to power, hand usage, and rush plan. That being said, Joyner has good height, weight, speed, and upside to develop. He could be a mid-round sleeper who turns into a good value pick.

David Walker, DT, UCF

Walker was a dangerous pass rusher in college, and he showed that knack for getting after the quarterback in his Senior Bowl practices. Walker is quick to get upfield with some natural pad level to gain leverage on offensive linemen. In 2024, he had 10.5 sacks with 68 tackles, four forced fumbles, and five passes batted. Walker (6-2, 260) is a mid-round sleeper who could be a rotational pass rusher in the NFL.

T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina

Sanders was impressive at the Senior Bowl practices, showing speed to get upfield and interior pass rush ability. In speaking with multiple team sources, they feel that Sanders is on the bubble of the first round, and he could sneak into the opening of the draft. If Sanders makes it to the second round, he should not have to wait long before he gets selected. Sanders could continue over the weeks leading up to the draft.

Thomas Gordon, TE, Northwestern

Gordon is a sleeper tight end who could be a nice day three pick. The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder is a quality blocker, and he flashed some receiving ability in 2024 with 27 catches for 252 yards and a touchdown. Gordon could rise with quality workouts before the draft.

2025 NFL Draft Stock Down

Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green

Fannin had a super productive 2024 season and a respectable week at practice in Mobile, but team sources say that Fannin did not interview well at the Senior Bowl. While they say that Fannin is not a bad kid, they say he has some maturity issues that his pro team is going to have to deal with. Fannin will need to do better in his combine interviews and on pre-draft visits.

Kyren Lacy, WR, LSU

Lacy was a mid-round or day-three prospect before he had an arrest for negligent homicide in a car crash that caused the death of a retired Marine. After the arrest and concerns about his ability for the NFL, Lacy could easily slide into the undrafted ranks next April.
