Round: 1
Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
The Titans can thank the Jaguars for putting them in position to obtain a franchise quarterback now that they have a top-two selection. This assumes that they don’t sign Aaron Rodgers and look elsewhere for a signal-caller. Rodgers to Tennessee is a very real possibility, however, and this mock will obvioulsy be adjusted if that happens. I’ve switched this pick from Shedeur Sanders to Cam Ward for two reasons. First, Deion Sanders, who will have a say in where his son plays, may not want Shedeur in Tennessee because of how the organization handled Ran Carthon’s firing. Deion was openly upset about this move. Second, there might be a trend for teams to find the next Jayden Daniels, and Ward resembles Daniels more than Sanders. Ward is a dual-threat quarterback who was very productive at Washington State and now Miami. *** OTHER 2025 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: *** 1. Tennessee Titans: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
The Titans need to add weapons for their new quarterback to pair with Calvin Ridley. Luther Burden is a shifty receiver who can be used as a ball-carrier. Pick change; previously Emeka Egbuka, WR

Tennessee Titans: Jabbar Muhammad, CB, Oregon
The Titans cut Chidobe Awuzie, so they’ll need a new cornerback across from L’Jarius Sneed. Jabbar Muhammad has great instincts, but lacks strength. Follow @walterfootball for updates. Tennessee Titans: Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia
The Titans signed Kevin Zeitler, but he’s obviously not a long-term answer. Wyatt Milum has the size and ability to be considered at tackle or guard, though the arm length is a concern.
Round: 5
Tennessee Titans: Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
The Titans have shown interest in tight ends during the pre-draft process. It makes sense to find another weapon for Cam Ward. Terrance Ferguson was a quality contributor for Oregon.

Tennessee Titans: Deonte Lawson, OLB/ILB, Alabama
The Titans lost a couple of linebackers this offseason, so they’ll need to replenish their depth. Deonte Lawson is a tough run defender.
Round: 6
Tennessee Titans: Cam Jackson, DT, Florida
The Titans figure to address the defensive line depth at some point on Day 3. Cam Jackson is a huge nose tackle who doesn’t provide much of a pass rush.

Tennessee Titans: Kyle Williams, WR, Washington State
Multiple wideouts are needed for this thin receiving corps. Kyle Williams has good size and was productive at Washington State.
Past Grades and Selections
2024 NFL Draft Selections and Grades
C I’m not crazy about this pick. I get it because the Titans don’t have a left tackle, but J.C. Latham, despite his placement in my mock draft, doesn’t stand out to be as a top-10 prospect, and I also think he’d be a better fit at right tackle than left tackle. I was hoping the Titans would trade down and get Latham later, but they didn’t do that. I’m not going to fail Tennessee for this selection, but it could have been better.
C The poor Bengals have to be upset that T’Vondre Sweat didn’t make it to their pick, and I’m not saying that because Sweat has character issues. They really wanted him. Sweat fills a need for the Titans’ defensive line, but his character concerns make him too risky for my liking atop the second round.
B+ The Titans really need a linebacker, as Kenneth Murray is projected to start right now. Cedric Gray is an instinctive linebacker, so he could take Murray’s job sooner rather than later. I had him in the third round of my mock on occasion, so I like the value.
A+ The Titans had some major problems at cornerback last year. They signed some players, but needed one more player at the position. We considered Jarvis Brownlee to be a third-round prospect, so this is a major steal. Brownlee is talented enough to challenge for a job early in his career.
B Jha’Quan Jackson was a middling performer at the Senior Bowl, so he didn’t really improve his draft stock. It’s not surprising that he lasted until the sixth round. The range makes sense for a team that had to find some receiving depth.
B+ James Williams was a productive player at Miami, but he fell because he’s a tweener. It’s unclear if he can play safety or linebacker. He’ll have to make the roster on special teams while he figures out where he can play on the first three downs.
A What a steal for the Titans in the final 10 picks of the draft. Jaylen Harrell was considered a fourth-round prospect who could fall to the third round. He was a productive player at Michigan, though he’s somewhat undersized. Still, it seems like he could contribute in the pros.
2023 NFL Draft Selections and Grades
A+ Nick Caserio is not a sleeper agent for the Colts or Titans. If he pretended to be, then he double-crossed them! The Texans traded up from No. 12 to 3 to land what they think is the best defensive player in this class, and they could be correct. Will Anderson would have been a poor choice at No. 2 because that would have involved passing on a franchise quarterback, but getting Anderson and Stroud is unbelievable. Caserio for general manager of the year?
B I thought Garrett Williams would be drafted later than this because he’s coming off a torn ACL. This will be a very good pick if he’s healthy, though I suppose that the Cardinals won’t even need him to play in 2023 because they’re going to be dreadful without Kyler Murray anyway. This is a solid selection for the long haul, though it comes with risk.
B I had Jordan Howden going three picks later than this, so the range makes sense for the Saints, who needed to improve their secondary. Jordan Howden had lots of fans from the scouting departments even though his play didn’t show it at Minnesota.
A+ I had Jaelyn Duncan in the first round of my mock draft not too long ago! Duncan isn’t a finished product, but he’s super athletic and possesses a ton of upside. It seems as though he slipped because of character and work ethic concerns, but he’s worth the gamble here.
B- Colton Dowell has plus size and hands, but doesn’t have much speed or run-after-the-catch skills. Still, given the Titans’ poor receiving corps, he might be able to make the final roster.
2022 NFL Draft Selections and Grades
B Grade
The Titans acquired this pick from the Eagles for A.J. Brown. They obviously needed to replace him, and Treylon Burks is the best receiver on the board. He was considered the fifth of the top five receivers even though he was the sixth wideout chosen, but I didn’t think that was fair. Burks is very close to the other four receivers, so I love this value for Tennessee. Surrendering Brown is a tough pill to swallow though.
B- Grade
No Malik Willis for the Titans, which has to disappoint the Tennessee fans. It’s a shame, as they’ll have to continue to endure Ryan Tannehill’s mediocrity. Roger McCreary is a solid pick, and I thought he had a chance to be chosen in the middle of the second round. This is a bit early for him, but it’s fine.
B+ Grade
This is a solid pick. I had Nick Petit-Frere in the second or third round, depending on the update, and the Titans really needed to focus on their offensive line. They missed out on the top two guards, but Petit-Frere should help protect Ryan Tannehill, as the mediocre quarterback chokes away another playoff game.
A+ Grade
LOL! I thought the Titans should have abandoned Ryan Tannehill and drafted Malik Willis at No. 35, yet they were able to do this at No. 86. Willis will obviously sit for a year or so, but he’s going to take over for Tannehill at some point. Willis has huge upside with his athleticism and mobility, and he’s also a smart quarterback. He’s just raw, but the Titans should be able to develop him rather quickly for 2023 and beyond. This is an obvious A+.
C- Grade
Hassan Haskins was in and out of my mock draft in the sixth and seventh round. He didn’t make the final cut, but easily could have. With that in mind, this is a reach. The Titans could’ve found a similar running back later, though it does make sense that they’d find some insurance for Derrick Henry.
A- Grade
It’s no surprise that the Texans are addressing their offensive line again. They’re getting a solid third-day prospect I had in the fifth round. Austin Deculus is a versatile player who can be used at tackle or guard.
B+ Grade
Kalia Davis is a big run-stuffer, which is key for the 49ers as they try to combat the Rams and Seahawks. Davis is coming off a torn ACL, causing him to drop in the 2022 NFL Draft. At this point, he’s worth the risk.
2021 NFL Draft Selections and Grades
B- Grade
This is another pick that is incredibly difficult to grade. Caleb Farley would have been in the same pantheon as Jaycee Horn and Patrick Surtain if he didn’t have any medical concerns. Unfortunately, Farley was one of the riskiest players in this class in regard to health. If he can remain on the field, he’ll be a shutdown cornerback for the Titans. However, there’s a decent chance he won’t be able to stay on the field at all. Again, players like Farley and Jaelan Phillips often fall, so I’m surprised that didn’t happen.
B Grade
The Titans have lost three right tackles in the span of two offseasons, so this was a position they needed to address. This is fine value for Dillon Radunz, but the one concern I have is that Radunz won’t have the length to stay at tackle, so he may have to move inside.
B Grade
The Packers weren’t kidding when they said they were going to have A. Rodgers on their team next year. It’s nice that they finally obtained a receiver, and Amari Rodgers is an explosive athlete who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball. I had Amari Rodgers in the fourth round, so this is almost the right range.
C Grade
The Titans are filling a need. Then again, everything is a need for them on defense. This includes slot cornerback in the wake of Adoree Jackson’s departure. Elijah Molden is a gritty and tough cornerback, but he’s small and slow, which doesn’t bode well for him. I had him in the fifth round.
B+ Grade
Chuba Hubbard’s draft stock fell this past year. I had him in the second round earlier, but he didn’t quite live up to his potential. Still, I like the pick, as the Panthers needed insurance at running back just in case Christian McCaffrey is hurt again. Mike Davis is gone, so Hubbard will take his spot.
B- Grade
A second cornerback was essential for the Panthers, who have to deal with some ridiculous receivers in their division. Keith Taylor was someone I’ve had in the sixth round in some updates, so this range is fine for him.
